(OOC: You people should tell Frost that her magic bothers you. How will she know otherwise? >^_^<)
Frost tossed and turned in her sleep before sitting up. "It's no use," she said, sighing. She wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. She leaned against her sheild, staring up at the sky. She held up her arm, and stared at her wrist as her sleeve fell to reveal her scars. When will I ever get these blasted bracelets off? she thought, sighing. The bracelet itself was slightly loose, just enough for her to run her finger under it.

Endorphin twitched in his sleep and grumbled softly, like a sleeping animal made a bit uneasy. He curled his long form into a tight ball, his ratty hat shoved low over his face. His dreams were confused and troubled - an uneasy mixture of two lives that had been messily fused into one. No, Dorphin's subconcious was not a fun place to be.

((I was waiting for Krowin to go to sleep, but since Rehiro was... you know... I'll assume that he either slept well, or stayed up all night staring at the dagger.))
Morning light filtered in between the trees. Haruko could be seen by the stream, washing something long in the brooke. Nezumi sat up, and stretched.
"YAAAWN! What a good sleep." She re-tied her scarf. "Wake up everyone! Time to gooooo!" She addressed everyone in a singsong voice, and skipped around the clearing, beaming and checing if the sleepers were waking up.

Frost stood. She hadn't been able to go to sleep. she sat her palm on her sheild and re-absorbed her magic, although there was noticeably less in her sheild than she had put in when she had set it up. The sheild melted, leaving a rink of wet around the camp.

Haruko stood, quickly wrapping up his spear in it's cloth. "Are all traces of the magic gone, Mi'lady?" (addressing frost)(He addresses everyone as "Mi'lord, Mi'lady, or fool)

Frost shut her eyes for a moment, checking for any spare scraps that escaped her control. It was unlikely, but possible. Finding none, she opened her eyes and nodded. "Yes sir."

Koumori stood up. She hadn't slept the entire night, as allways. Dear gods, the human girl was irritating. Gods... Why had she given her word?! At least noone had asked why or how she had destroyed the inn. That was an embarassing story, to say the least. She closed her book, and it dissapeared somewhere within her coat.

Endorphin sat up and stretched. Hrm, what was... the dome was gone! Abruptly he stood. "I am going to catch breakfast," he announced, then began striding in the direction of the trees.

Chantre sat straight up, face smiling happily. "We're going?! WEEEEEEEE, we're going, we're going, we're-" Her voice was cut off short, as the changling girl looked around and remembered where she was. Blushing, she stood up, brushing the leaves and dirt off with a hand, straightening her beret with the other. "Breakfast sounds good," she commented as she watched the scary, tattered man walk into the forest, and started picking the underbrush, looking for the small, fresh green sprouts of strawberry plants and the tiny, sweet berries that came with them.

Nezumi piled sticks in the middle of the camp quickly, and shouted towards Haruko.
"Harukichi! Can youuu light this?!"
Haruko bowed to frost and said "thank you," and then walked up to Nezumi. He snapped his fingers, and a spark flew off, catching the pile on fire.
"Oooo! Youre soooo cool, Harukichi!" Nezumi squealed, hugging him.

Endorphin scowled over his shoulder at the squealy female-thing. What had possesed him?! She would scare off the game, carrying on like that. He vanished into the trees in a huff. And he couldn't even shift to his true form here, so close to... to... people. Apparently, it was too early to thinkup proper insults.

Nezumi smiled. "Now catch some fish please?"
Haruko grudgingly nodded, and turned and went to the stream.
"Thaaaanks haru-kichi!"

Frost sighed. "I can do that...if you wish..." she said to Haruko. After all, the only reason the village had kept her for so long was because she could freeze the fish in the water and bring them to shore...

"Will the magic... affect the fish? I apologise, but if it will, I will have to catch my own myself." He asked in his calm voice. He couldn't help but be a slight bit attracted to this girl. She seemed to have everything under control. But him... with his curse... in love with a mage? Impossible. He dismissed the thought.

Frost shook her head. "i just freeze the water around the fish. It desn't affect them at all," she replied. Why would he have to catch his own if it did? she wondered.

"Okay. Thank you very much. But if there will be magic traces on the fish, I fear that I may not be able to eat it. Even if it is causght with good intentions. I apologise, Milady."
Haruko bowed, as was his way... Or was it more to hide his faint blushing? He needed to get his emotions under control. He imediately snapped back to his notmal self.

Frost raised an eyebrow. "So, is that a yes?" she asked. It really didn't matter to her, as she would catch her own anyway, but it would be quicker to catch the fish all at once instead of waiting. Figuring it was, she walked over to the water. She let her magic trickle into the water, searching out fish. She found a group of four and siftly froze them into a solid block of ice. She mentally reeled it in, and pulled it up on to the ground. She then retracted her magic, melting the ice block around the fish. When all of the ice was gone, four dead fish lay on the ground. She rubbed her wrist and faced Haruko. "There you go," she said softly as the ache faded.

"Thank you, Milady. I will take these to Nezumi. She is a very skilled cook."
He picked up the fish, and soon they were all on sticks propped up to cook over the fire.
Nezumi figited with her bandana. "I don't think there are enough! One for me, one for haruko, one for frost, one for Chantre... Endorphin's getting his own food... I think we're forgetting someone!"
(Nezumichan is forgetful)

"I do believe Chantre is getting her own. There is one for you, one for Haruko, one for me, and one for the man with the headwrap," Frost said, gesturing to said person.

Koumori wandered off into the woods, opposite to the direction that Endorphin had left. She wasn't particularily hungry, but she hadn't eaten in a while. Besides, spending the night in a dome made of ice made her wish to wander. She had said nothing about not straying away from the group for a while, anyway.
She came apon a small patch of blackberries, and ate a few of the unripened; sweet things made her sick. She then cleaned herself up, and meandered back to camp. "Are we leaving, praytell?"

Nezumi smiled.
"Ohhh! Kotchan was the one who we forgot!" (Kotchan=Koumori. Nezumi loves making up these nicknames, and I do too XD)
"Anyways, yeah. We're leavin' pretty soon! Didja get somethin' to eat, Kotchan?"
((Kotchan is pronounced: coat-chan))

Koumoris left ear twitched under the hood, and she immediately regretted it. "Indeed. I am sustained for another day..." God this was annoying... And her ears were stiff and uncomfortable, but she daren't remove the hood.

Nezumi looked curious.
"I thought I saw something move under your hood, Kotchan. Now that I think about it... You've never taken that hood off. Isn't it uncomforatably hot? You can take it off, there's nothing you have to hide from your comrades, right?" She smiled, but it was more serious, and her face looked a little worried.

Frost looked up at the Koumori. Then, she gave a mental shrug and turned away. What others hid was no concern of hers. After all, she had secrets herself...and memories she wished would stay buried.

Koumori almost hissed and lit fire to the girl, but she remembered herself. Indeed, they were comrades now, so she needn't hide anything from them- but what if they had heard of her, a felon mage? She had no qualms about her ability to reduce them all to smoking ashes, but that would simply add to her list of crimes. Ack, this was confusing. Logically, she shouldn't even have become involved in this. ...But she had. Perhaps this was not the time for logic. The human girl seemed to be a comparatively open person... She had allowed Koumori into her group without ever seeing her whole face... So why not?
"Very well... But please. If you need to scream, keep it down so I can make a gettaway." She lowered the hood, and unfolded her long, batlike ears, letting her long hair fall across the teartract markings under her eyes. She was pale as death, and her eyes were mismatched; one red, one blue, and both were ringed with dark circles from both lack of sleep, and natural colouring.

Nezumi looked at the girl for a moment. "Oh. There was no need to hide anything like that from us, Kotchan. My parents were mages, so I've seen plenty of people with cool ears and markings and such. I'm just glad you were willing to come clean!" She smiled, not the gigantic, fakesy smile, but sort of a real one.

Koumori smiled a wry half smile- or did she? Almost the moment it passed across her pale features, it was gone, and replaced with the standard expression of mild distaste for the world in general. She bowed, a curt, simple one dip of the head, and nearly whispered, "Koumori Ves'Ombres, mage of darkness, and convicted arsenist at your service, milady." A little showmansship could go a long way.

Endorphin slid out from the trees, remarkabley close to the group to have gotten so far undetected. Especially considering he had a stag slung over his shoulder and three rabbits in one hand, held by the ears. He grunted at the fire. "Pitiful meal," he commented. Then he set the rabbits down next to the fire, walked off a little ways, and began neatly sectioning off parts of the deer, making sure to waste nothing.
