Goodie! The new RP's Lillium, right? I've started reading it over so I know what's going on... I've got a character (and no, she's not photosensitive), but I need to figure out some things before I post her description. Y'know, like her name

If your going to start a character, you have to decide to make a commitment. We have had some people start things and not follow through.

Got a name and I'm ready to roll!
Name: Verve
Gender: None, but identifies as female
Race: Cloth golem
History: Verve was created by a powerful spellcaster/alchemist as an assistant. Unlike stone golems, she is not animated by a scroll or any form of physical enchantment, but by an etheral spell woven into the fabric she is made from.
The spell used to animate her was experimental and by nature unstable, not to mention prone to mutation when it is used to animate something over a long period. Her life was tied to her master's, and she was to be unmade if he ever died, but when an ill-made potion does kill him, Verve finds that only the spell binding her to his bidding has ended.
With her newfound free will, she obsessively reviews her master's life work until she discovers some experiments that she immediately realizes should never have been performed. Gathering up all the records, notes, and books she can find, she flees her master's home and carries her heavy burden into the world, seeking a way to destroy it that won't also undo the magic holding her together.
Description: A child-sized creature made of fabric and stitched up like a doll. Her short, fluffy hair is a soft pink edged in green, with three black-and-pink striped antennae sprouting from the back of her head. She has large, lime green eyes with dull black pupils and pointed ears (although the left one droops).
She has paw-like hands with only four fingers and colorful pads. She wears a red, (fake) fur-trimmed coat and grey pants, and goes barefoot so she may easily use her monkey-like feet whenever she needs to. She is patched up all over where her fabric has worn thin and she has been forced to repair herself with any materials available.
Possessions: A bag as patchworked as she is that contains all she has found necessary - needles, scissors, thread, bolts of fabric, and even some medical supplies. She does not need food or water, but she does often trade her expertise in sewing up clothes and flesh for information or shelter. She carries a green child's umbrella to avoid getting wet - she is not waterproof and will soak through in a matter of minutes. This is not dangerous, but it makes her thoroughly miserable until she dries out. For defense she has what amounts to an oversized, spring-loaded popgun, useful for little more than stunning an opponent or scaring an animal long enough for her to escape.
Abilities: The attenae mentioned previously are just that - sensory organs. They pick up movement most easily, making Verve hard to sneak up on. They can also decipher vibrations of sound - very useful when evesdropping through a heavy door. Unfortuneately, they are less accurate the more vibrations there are in the area. Verve is also exceptionally good at sewing, and can administer stitches (although she has little experience with healing anything other than cuts). She is small and incredibly agile.
(I'll post a picture and my merits/flaws in a sec...)

This is Verve! The colors came out odd... Merits: Quick-witted, slow to anger, faithful and protective of her friends Flaws: Easily waterlogged, unwilling to talk about herself or her past to others (this make her a target for suspicion), suffers from severe night terrors that have resulted in chronic insomnia. Oh, a few thing I forgot - she can come apart (think Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas) and can move the seperated parts independently for a short period of time before they become disenchanted. They reanimate when reconnected to her body. If her head is seperated from her body, the spell animating her is disrupted and she remains "dead" until someone sews her head back on. The fabric that makes up her base form (the peachy color in the pic) is actually white, it just takes on a living hue when the spell is active.

Someone I'm think of using for Stolen Body:
Name: Dorphin Cropgullet
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, appears to be in late boyhood
Race: Devourer demon/?
History: The Devourer demons are a rare, barbaric race that reside far away from civilization. They are intelligent enough to be considered sentient as the have a crude culture, but only barely. As their name indicates, they are of a gluttonous alignment and tend to destroy much of the life around them. Thus they are nomads and greatly feared and hated among other sentient beings.
Endorphin (Dorphin for short) became aware of this only after he consumed something he shouldn't have. He found himself changed, felt intelligence flood him mind and overtake his dominant Devourer instincts. The young demon discovered that he now was in possesion of a humanoid form, albeit a strange one, and had the mind of far higher life than he. Unable to return to his clan, he struck out to try his new self against the world.
Appearance: Dorphin has two forms, one his original Devourer self and the other the stange humanoid.
Devourer: Like the rest of his kind, he is a bear-sized, four-legged demon. He has inky, hairless flesh, mottled with pink on his powerful limbs. His most prominant feature is his mouth, which can open impossibley wide and is filled with teeth and a strangling tongue. His top lip is pulled into an ugly, sensitive nose. Set far back in his skull are sockets where there were once eyes, torn out in the coming-of-age ceremony practiced by his kind.
Human: Tall and solidly built, with lean muscle. This form is surprisingly beautiful, in human standards, and his almost androgenous face is framed by straight black hair. He hides his empty eye sockets behind sunglasses in this form. A large-brimmed hat sits low on his forehead. It may once have been pointed, but it is old and the top has been torn clear off. His clothes are all in grey and silver and are nothing spectacular, just what a traveller might wear. The skin on his hands and feet is odd in the sense that it has what looks like birthmarks in the same mottled pattern his Devourer form had. This form also seems to give of a black "halo" to those who can sense magic.
Personality: Sly and sharp-tongued with the attitude of a gangbanger. Dorphin is prone to violent streaks and does not befriend easily. If he travels with someone, it is usually only to further his own needs. For those who do manage to break through his tough exterior, he can be sweet in his own gruff manner.
Abilities: Can "see" by smell (his species rely more on their nose than on their eyes, so he cannot be called blind). His sense of smell in his Devourer form is strong enough to track another being from several miles away. He can eat anything without ill effect (except, apparently, the mysterious thing he ate that gave him his human self). His human form has some magical ability centered around the black power that can eat away at its victims. He can change forms at will.
Flaws: Untrusting of others and mostly antisocial. He is also violent and will attack cumpulsively, even if he cares about the target. He requires a lot of food (even in human form) and, although his mind is unreadable, he is especially weak to attacks on his mind (illusions or psychicly planted suggestions, etc.)

Name: Aislinn
Age: 192
Gender: Female
Race: Kelik
Keliks are very sociable by nature and prefer living in large groups. They are also pacifists, hating fighting and bloodshed. Aislinn doesn’t have the typical outgoing, social nature of her people. This, combined with her obvious enjoyment of fighting, convinced elders of her tribe she was a threat to the tribe’s safety. She solved their worries about what was to be done with her by leaving.
Personality: Aislinn is curious and somewhat myopic. She doesn’t think beyond the present and often gets into trouble because of this. When she does make friends, she becomes very protective of them, but if she doesn’t consider someone a friend, she doesn’t really care very much what they do. She’s somewhat sarcastic and pessimistic
Appearance: Tall and thin with pale skin. She appears to be in her late teens, aging one year for every ten. Curly brown hair and blue eyes whose pupils are long like a cats, but stretch from side to side rather than up and down. She has two sets of small horns growing from her forehead, one set above the other. Her wings are brown, turning a dusty red at the bottoms. She has six fingers on both hands. Her clothes are dirty and worn, the tears patched inexpertly. At her side at all times is a beat up old book bag (she has several books and potions in the bag.) She carries a long knife in a sheath on her belt and a switchblade in one pocket.
Abilities: Flight, the basic magic all Kelik children are taught, and the ability to heal faster than a normal Kelik. She is also good fighter
Flaws: Myopic. She prefers leaving instead of working through difficult issues. Her knowledge of magic is just enough for other magic workers to see her as a threat, but not enough to defend herself from them.

Character Name: Valerian Mezverian
Race: Negative Fairy
Description: Val is a little on the short side compared to normally the rest of his normally tall fairy subspecies. He has Dark blue hair and light purple eyes. Val has long dark wings which look like a combination between a demon's and a fairy's. Val has white pale skin, though unlike normal fairies his has a bluish green tint as well and pointed ears like most fairies. Val favors light tight fitting outfits that allow him freedom of movement for his wings.
Powers: Val's powers beyond his ability to change size as will remain unknown. Val presumably has the ability to make magical weapons and some others but never has been shown how to use them and his instincts stink.
Personality: Valerian is high strung and chatty. He has rather poor survival instincts but luckily is a chronic liar and mostly harmless which had kept him alive and mostly unharmed. While Valerian lacks the psychotic bent many fairies the combinations of a strong sense of mischief and a low opinion of all everyone upon first meeting them makes him a different sort of trouble. Valerian like most fairies is easily fixated but also easily distracted. Valerian would be very goal oriented if he could only keep his goals in mind long enough to accomplish them.
