Recent evidence indicates that that.... boy, in my period two class that keeps giving me the googly eyes, is actually a... homosexual.

Ah, well that would explain the googly eyes, see.
But I'd set him straight (pardon the pun) about your own orientation if he starts to show more interest. Nothing's worse then leading someone on.

And as for the exalt thanks, my name really is Tony but I like the exotic names a little better than my normal one.

More soap opera stuff:
My best friend was asked out by this guy who said he liked her, and she was deciding whether she liked him or not, so she went out with him, and decided she didn't, not in the least... But she didn't say anything, so after a while he asked out my other friend... And she liked him at that point...
So all through this, I'm being the over protective best friend... And I just don't like the guy. At all. Even before he asked my friends out, I couldn't stand being around him at all. He was the single most annoying person I had ever met...
And then my friend (Not my best friend) broke up with him, and he's conviced that it was all my doing, simply because he knows I don't like him.
And now, he's trying to get back with my best friend! And... She can't stand him. AND, he's also trying to get back with my other friend, who just wants to be friends, but he's starting to creep her out. I am essentially the rescue team for both of them.
Eek!

Cool... soap opera stuff. I cant think of anything better to say about your situation Scare, but I didnt want to insult it by going straight to my situation and overlooking yours.
Anyway, about this homosexual guy. As for evidence, to answer Taimatsu's question. I overheard some people talking about how hes gay, but you wouldnt know it to look at him. At least im pretty sure they were talking about him. I think I know his name, but im not 100% sure and it was I think, the name of the guy who winked at me, and now wont take his eyes off me for a moment.
I think I may have to tell him im hetero, because of my attempt to frighten him back when I didnt know his orientation and it went horribly wrong.
Im afraid of what hes attracted to, I mean, their supposed to be able to tell each other appart arent they? (exibiting potential prejudices) At least thats what i've heard from TV and my parents *sweat drop*. So whats he attracted to? Does a homosexual male find the same things attractive in a man, that a heterosexual female does?
Oh, god, males are far more obvious than females when it comes to infatuation. I mean, I know for a fact that i've had female admirers, but this guy just... stares without shame. And that look of excitement in his eyes... whats he doing to me in his head? I know the kinds of filthy things us males can think up...
And that person that I took to be his girlfriend? Just his friend... his really close friend. I thought they were a couple just because they were always hugging and sitting next to each other in class, and whispering in each others ears and giggling. Boy was I wrong.

Hmmm... Scare: Ugh, the whole boyfriends and friends thing, huh? I hate it so. My best friend has had one boyfriend, and after she broke up with him (he was too clingy), he started drinking. He claims it was her fault. And don't get me started on Harmony! The girl has terrible taste in males and won't get out of relationships she doesn't even want to be in! What I'm trying to say is, just keep telling your friend(s) to not give into guilttripping. It's disgusting, and the guys will just go and abuse it again and again if it works once. If he gets too stalker-like, don't hesitate about getting someone with more authority involved.
Rehiro: "Gay-dar" (the ability to tell heterosexuals from homosexuals) does not exist. It is impossible to tell whether most people are at a glance. Take it from a girl whose best guy-friend is gay. The best thing to do is to talk to him about it. Don't jump in with "OMG are you GAY?" (exaggerating to make a point). Tell him that the staring makes you really uncomfortable and that you'd like him to stop. If (and only if) his or your sexual orientation comes up, tell him firmly that you're straight and are a little creeped out by his attention. Don't attack him or act freaky, because that screams 'homophobe,' which I really hope you aren't striving to appear as.
As for whether homosexual guys are attracted to the same things as heterosexual girls... I can't say for myself (I've sworn off boys - one to many immature high school males, ugh) but I will tell you that my gay friend and my best girl friend often agree on whether a guy is hot ^^;
((Oh, and WOOHOO! I's a senior member!))

Haha, I dont care if he looks at me or not really, im just worried i'll be seen as a homosexual in the future.
Anyway, that evil friend of mine? The one I was going to attack? Well I dont hate him now. I realize I was acting a little overly hostile... I didnt share the part where I was at fault... anyway, that guy called me up today and said:
Traitor: You should ask someone out in your fourth period class.
Rehiro: Why?
Traitor: Just t'see what happens.
Rehiro: Fourth period?
Traitor: Yeah.
Rehiro: Why fourth period?
Traitor: Just because *giddy noise*.
Rehiro: Who?
Traitor: (Sensored name) *giddy noise*
Rehiro: *Raises eyebrow* (sensored name) eh?
Traitor: Yeah.
Rehiro: Whos (sensored name)?
Traitor: *Description of (sensored name)*
Rehiro: Oh, her. *Eyes narrow* why her?
Traitor: Because... *idiotic attempt at sounding suggestive, take something back and accomodate it more to my liking, then readgusting again to accomodate more to my liking again and comes up with something quite like he said origanally*.
Rehiro: Yeah, I think that... I agree.
Rehiro thinking: What an idiot.
Traitor: *Idiotic laughter*.
And then we ramble on about a bunch of different stuff. Stuff you must never learn.
So now I realize that I have come upon an ideal thing. This guy isnt the malicious type and I have not wronged him precisely.... not so that he would see it as being wronged, poor guy probably feels like he did something wrong so now hes doing this.... anyway, this girl really does seem like she would go out with me, now that I think about it in retrospect.... but I also just realized something. Im scaaaaaaared. I always screw up, and I cant just run away, 'cause I take the same class with this traitor, the same one with (sensored name). They've probably already discussed it or he wouldnt have sounded so giddy and sure. I have a guaranteed success and I just want to run away. The guy will probbably say stupid things too, like "I think (sensored name... my sensored name, not hers) has something to ask you" and i'll be all like "HUauuuOrp blgggrnclup" or something like that. Well no, thats not quite the problem I have, but I cant imagine what i'll do. Oh, foul emotions hath felled me when none else could. Im about to become that guy who whines that he dosent have a girlfriend all day and does nothing about it.... oh well, I hope I learn something from my upcoming failure.
And I dont not hate that guy because of this. Tylers death reminded me that any of us could die at any moment, and if that guy died, the last thing he'd know about me was that I was angry at him. And he was a friend of Tylers as well. Its funny how a death can bring people together.

One of the most important things to keeping your cool is probaly remembering that she is just as human as you are. Being calm is probably not the easiest thing in the world under the situation... but it -can- help. Good luck ^_~ I'm sure you'll do alright.
As for gay guys liking the same attributes in men that women find attractive... I would say that was true. My boyfriend is bisexual (...so am I) and he does find the same things attractive in guys that I do. (Which is probably what makes him so perfect for me...because he tries to BE all of those things).
Although I would not date another female (I already have to deal with my OWN pms... no way am I dealing with another woman's pmsing.), I do find both genders equally attractive. Telling this guy (if he is in-fact gay...I'd suggest that you find that out BEFORE bringing this up with him) that you are sorry, but you do not have an attraction to men (In a POLITE way) will not offend him. He might be a bit sad (wouldn't you be if you found out a girl you liked was lesbian?) but he won't be wounded or offended.
I have a lot of guy friends who are gay (it's nice to spend time around people who aren't hitting on me). And they all know that their pool of possible dates is quite small compared to a heterosexual's. It is a bit dissapointing to find out your crush doesn't find your gender attractive, but it is not an ego blow. It's not as though it were you personally against dating -that- guy... just not interested in dating someone of your own gender.

If you're worried about the PG-13 policy, Zolah, try PMing someone who you think can help (or have them PM you first; then you know who thinks they can help). PMs are private, and thusly aren't up for as much restriction as the forum posts.

We're all pretty understanding around here. If you want to tell us, we'll listen, otherwise you can always PM a friend or close one on the forum for advice.
....Or talk to someone off-line. That'd be good too.

Erm... in other news, I learned about what that traitor meant by "ask out" a girl. My assumption was that it meant going out somewhere. Really it means to lay claim to a girl as in, if you say "do you want to go out?" it really means "can I make a reservation?" thats weird.... he lives in a screwy society where everyones more experienced at these things than you and people get stabbed... im going to try and keep a bit of a distance between me and this society of people.

But yes, clever. For the record. The 'where' I was refering to is Alberta, Canada. We use americanized english (Bur the brittish measuring system.. go figure) so alot of the idioms are the same.
Rehiro, I say go for it if you like the girl ^_~ You more than likely stand a pretty good chance of her saying 'yes'. So... good luck~!

Indeed, if you like her, say something that you think she would like to hear, If she is appearence concious, complement her. If she is sort of out there, make your questioning sort of out there. But go for it!
