I totally thought that the not-humans werent taking me as friendly as the Three Protectors did, taken offence at my presence, and had decided to kill me. I thought he was going to march over and kill me. I was all ready to see if a human could fight a not-human.

Wow... What do you think the results would have been, in all honesty?

I dont think he could have touched me. He was close, but he would have needed to draw me off into an area not found on any map, and I was kind of at a half way point. Also, ever since I saw the Golden Wolf, i've felt impowered. And I dont think he was a match for the Golden Wolf.

Yep. Nobody messes with wolves... Do you know if the Golden Wolf might have been your totem animal, or something of the like?

I think maybe. Awhile back, when I was trying to analyse that kind of thing (i've deemed myself inadequate to come to conclusions now, but its hard not to have oppinions) I thought that something that the wolf said, and maybe the most emphasized thing was "you will not be forgotten". Im not sure anymore, but I dont think I was particularly spiritual before I saw the wolf. I think it all came after I saw it, and maybe the reason all this stuff dosent seem so incomprehensible is that seeing the wolf broadened my comprehension level. I noticed that even when the forest spirit was gone, I felt like I still had something going for me.

That's a good thing... Sounds like the not-human meant buisness!

Okay, sorry to interrupt the current train of conversation going on here, but Rehiro asked me stuff.
I've got no concrete evidence to convince you that my forest spirit exists. All I know is that I get a motherly feeling from the area. I can tell when it started, if that'll help.
It was four or five years ago, before the very fist sub-divided house was plotted, and we were building our new house. There was a guy there who was pulling trees out by their roots so we could put our house there. I was standing off to the side, leaning against a part of the foundation in a sort of half-shadow. The guy was nice, but naive. He wanted me to feel like I was a part of the whole huge construction project.
So he called me over and I got up into the passenger seat. He tried to get me to help him pull some trees, and I just sat there, arms crossed, glaring at him with a look that made him seem very nervous. That act of defiance and respect for nature sparked a long-lasting feeling of security and protection from the forest.
I've seen her in my mind, I've heard her voice, but the images and sounds have never shown me a specific gender. The spirit's never seemed upset at my calling it female, so I continue to do so.
As for why I think she's hostile, I haven't been able to get down to the stream lately. I just can't go. I always get to a certain point that I feel like if I take another step then I'll collapse into tears, or maybe just collapse. The only time I've managed to get past that point, a snake appeared in my path, I haven't the slightest idea whether the snake was real or a mirage used to protect the forest, but it scared me. Chilled me down to my bones. I don't get scared that easy, but that snake did it.
I'm afraid that she may be dying. I want to go down and console her, let her know that I'm still with her, but she keeps pushing me away.

Have you tried talking to her from the boundry point? Do you know if she can hear you from there?

I saw my forest spirit breathe close to its very last breath and it never lashed out at me *sniff*.
But its interesting that it uses a snake. My forest always used birds. Maybe you just need to act big and important. Sometimes you just need to act confident and show that your not just going to back down. Sometimes that gets you attacked but sometimes it works.
I wonder if we have the same situation Silverwolf? You saw that not-human recently. I dont mean to be depressing but I began to see the not-humans right before the forest spirit died. I wonder if they're doing some kind of deal, like what the forest spirit did with the not-humans where I am.

Wow, that IS depressing. I have no idea where she can hear me from, so I try to go into the forest where I most feel her presence.
If she dies, I'm sure I'll know, but I wish I could get back into the forest to 'talk' to her.

Okay Here's what I've got:
Obegomi: Not a word. Obigami: wrapper band Obi gami: High quality sash
Those are in japanese. It sounded japanese to me, but none of those seem right... Maybe it's only supposed to make sense to you?

Man, you people have had some amazing stuff happen. Unless you count that inexplicable phobia I have of this window in my house, I can't remember anything paranormal happening to me. *sigh*

You're afraid of a window? Explain.

Uh, yeah, I don't know why, but the window in my upstairs bathroom freaks me out. Has since I moved in. Keep in mind that no one in their right mind would break into a second story window... I used to drag a cat in with me when I showered. Don't know what I thought they were going to do to protect me, but hey, whatever worked.
Thought I'd gotten over it until recently when I was crazy enough to watch Nightmare on Elm Street. All of a sudden it's giving me weird vibes again.
My theory? Has something to do with moving.

Maybe it's just second-story windows? I can't go near any second-story windows in my house after dark.

I ca't go near windows, period, after dark. I actually have to close my bedroom window, pull down the blinds, and place little protective items near it before I can sleep at night.

Yeah, it's worse when the shade isn't pulled. But I'm fine with my bedroom windows, even though they're on the second story and even face the same direction *shrugs* Whatever.

Heh. Must not get very hot where you live, then. I DIE in the summer if I close my windows.

I have no fan, but even in the summer, my room has an eternal draft. It's perminant. Even if I turn up the heat, it remains freezing cold.

>.< I got the short end of the stick - my room's hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. And there's nowhere to put a fan. Hm, maybe I should actually get around to clearing the clutter off my desk...

I was living in a room that was technically outside. It was over the porch with no insulation between the floor and the outside.
