here you can post weird experiances and such, i also would want to deal something that happened to me wich i found both scary and fascinating.
I remember when i slept very bad, just at the moment i read alot of vampire chronikles and i hadnt slept for 2 weeks. I had just read through about half the book and felt i was tired, so i shut the ligths off and pulled my blanket over me and falled asleep, next day i woke up and rememberd i was going to a theatre. and i got a weird sms, " Ill be waiting" the weird thing was it was in english and i didnt recognise the number. i just shrugged and though it was a joke. i took on my clothes and got ready for the theatre, wich was oddly placed by our public bath house ( swimmingpool?). it was kinda pretty, especially when you walked in, got lots of art and it was like a amphiteatre. i took a seat and watched onthe painfully boring theatre about a girl that had been cougth in a castle by a evil lord. It ended happily as always and people started to go out, suddenly i saw Lestat, he was walking out with some kids and it seemed like he was their father or something. i shook my head and thougth it was just a day dream, after that i checked once again. he and the children was gone, by then i had a chilling feeling in my chest. i laughed a bit then i saw him onve again, this time he helped a old lady. the chilling feeling spread even more, i started to walk towards the exit. The theatre was almost empty and i had to check where he was, i turned around and i didnt se him or the lady. i took a deep breath and turned around, and guess who stood there with a smile that could problebly melt ice. He walked slowly towards me, and i stepped back. i turned around, just seeing the cirkual theatre. there was just one entrance and he was blocking it. He lurked around me, taking tactical positions if i would try to run. soon i was cougth in a corner. the ice cold feeling just got worse when he came closer, i curled up and looked at him. he smiled and pushed me against the wall, his blue eyes had an inner fire that was just creepy. he threw me on the ground in the middle of the theatre, i felt the pain hitting the ground and i couldnt move i was paralyzed. he bowed over me and took me in my arms and started to feed, i was afraid and couldnt move still. soon i felt very tired, and he looked at me smiling.and i started to say -" Sunshine in the hair, Blue skies forever in the eyes" he looked at me and shook his head. he put his finger on my lips then he slitted his hand and i fainted. suddenly i woke up outside my home, it was dark outside and i still felt the chill in my heart, i stood up and looked around. Lestat was sitting on one of our chairs and nuzzled my dog. he looked at me one last time... then everything just blacked out again, and i woke up in my bed, still with that chilling feeling. I never experianced any dream so real before, i was both fascinated and scared.

I vaguely mentioned this before. I was laying in bed late at night a year or two ago and I couldn't sleep. So I was just sorta staring with my head turned to the side and my eyes were really blurry cuz I was tired... and I started seeing these little green lights floating around the computer chair. I was drowsy, so I just lay there staring, assuming I was just seeing things. Well, they multiplied and then sorta melted together into a white light. I just kept staring, cuz it was clear and I still wasn't seeing well and- like I said- I was half-asleep. Well, it was hard to tell, but after a few seconds it looked like the white light was forming something... and then there was a clear, glowing girl kneeling beside my bed, petting my hair so softly it felt like the slightest breeze. It took me a minute, but I started waking up then, cuz it sort of unnerved me. I thought I was hallucinating and that usually leads to me having a panic attack and really bad night terrors that keep me up all night. So, I froze, cuz I got scared, and it faded away, but the top of my head was sorta tingly where I felt her pet it. It sounds sorta crazy, but I thought she was a fairy and then, later, maybe an angel. I guess I'll never know.
I just found it extremely weird because when I hallucinate it's usually something scary and when I saw the "fairy" I was completely relaxed and dazed up until I let myself start thinking. Up till then, I was sleepily thinking that it was a nice gesture for a fairy. XD It sounds so silly now.
---
Have you ever been about to fall asleep and all of a sudden hear a shout that never happened? It's happened to me a few times and it's always random. I'll be close to dreaming when all of a sudden I'll hear this loud, urgent voice yell my name or "WAKE UP". The sound hits me like it's a physical thing and I jolt cuz it feels like something impacted my forehead and there's a flash of soemthing that's not-quite light, but has the feel of it if that makes sense. I wake up immediately because it's like something smacked me in the head with their voice. I'll literally sit up thinking someone yelled at me because it doesn't have the sound of something from a dream... and it always sounds so urgent, like something will happen if I don't wake up that instant. I'll be laying there next to my sleeping mother with my heart beating like crazy and no one's awake to have said anything.
The first time i heard it, I half expected to wake up to my pop screaming about fire, but there was no one awake. Just me sitting there with my ears ringing, panicking because I feel like I should be doing something important.

Sw33t! Vampire chronicles! Err, sorry to ruin the mood. I just really like Lestat. Anyway, I hear voices in my head sometimes. One night I was about to fall asleep, when I her this voice say "Meow." It was totally random, but it freaked me out like nothing else.

Sometimes when I’m trying to sleep I hear people talking. Mainly my mind going over what other people have said throughout the day. But it’s different from me just thinking about it. It seems to come out unconsciously and the voices I hear, though I know they are in my mind, sound exactly as they would if someone was speaking. And they come rapid fire, several people’s voices saying what they do and overlapping everyone. It’s maddening at times.
Once I underestimated the length of a hike in the desert. Even though I had plenty of water, the sun soon got the best of me. I was suffering from heat exhaustion and stumbling around when I started seeing and hearing things. First I saw a bull dog right next to me. When I looked back it was just a sagebrush. Then I looked towards the horizon and saw what looked like black and white sheets floating in among the field of sagebrush. As I shambled down a hill I suddenly heard a voice yell at me to wait for him. I then heard someone running behind me. The voice I recognized as someone who I knew for sure was several miles away. Finally I saw a kid with a blue shirt cross the trail in front of me then simply disappear.
I was so glad to collapse under some shade after that.

oooooh I would never get to sleep if I heard everyone throughout the day talking.
Occasionally I will hear my mom call me and ask me to do stuff when she isn't, and every once in a while voices of other people I know. It is always kinda faint. But one time I heard the voice really clearly and it was kinda odd considering what had happened.
I was in 2nd grade. We had this fort thing in the backyard, and there was this spinning swing on it, and above it was a piece of pvc pipe my dad had cut and put on some hooks, so he could do puch ups. I fogot to take the pipe down and it fell down, brushing me, I thought I was okay so I kept swinging( it had actually sliced the bottom of my nose open deep). But I started hearing my mom calling at me to come in, it got louder too. It kept saying " Come in Now!" I finally responded, and was starting to go inside when I finally noticed the blood everywhere, on me, the swing, the grass, so I am like freaking out a bit because I cannot figure out where the blood is coming from, whe the voice calls again, so I start running for the house when our back door neighbor says, "did you know your nose is bleeding?". And I freeze for a sec thinking "my nose?" Then the voice again" come inside!" So I ran in because my nose was finally starting to sting, and yelled "mom where were you calling for me, and my nose is bleeding!" This all ended with her telling me she had never called for me, my nose being stuffed with tissue and me getting stitches at the hospital.

Heres my claim to fame. Warning: Do not read this if you have already done so in the "looking over a four leaf clover" thread
When I was a small child, my aunt took me and some others out to this stone circle in the forest near my grandparents house. She is wiccan and this place is some place that she and her circle, I think its called, go out to try and summon spirits and stuff.
After the ceremony, we all started trying to contact spirits by, I guess, leaving ourselves open to them. I remember the trees growing and everyone in the stone circle kind of... growing away, leaving me, alone in the stone circle, in an entirely new forest. Something caught the corner of my eye, and when I turned around to look, I was face to face with a glowing, golden wolf. It... spoke to me, like a thousand words at once and I kind of... melted, and felt some incredible and indescribable feeling of sheer bliss and when I sort of... grew back into being, I was back in the forest with my aunt and the others. I didnt feel in the least bit dissapointed from being back. I felt empowered and rejuvinated, like there was nothing that I couldnt do.
Later on in life, my friend had a dream about me having some kind of otherworldly gift called the "golden stone of miracles" and all these other stones (not belonging to me) with different elements and such. I automatically thought of the day I had seen the wolf, ever since that day, I had felt different. When I told him of my experience, he told me of one of his own and we devoted ourselves to finding supernatural things. I think we may have seen some things at the start, but after awhile it was just like we were playing a game. My friend lost interest *grumble* and that was the end of that.
I went on seeing the occasional strange thing for awhile and eventually stopped. I became depressed and actually said my farewells to the spiritual world.
At the age of twelve, two of my friends introduced me to this forest. I became obsessed with the tiny forest and we searched it from top to bottom. People hide stuff in there, but we found it and discovered the secrets hidden deep within. Eventually however, we had to come to the conclusion that we had discovered every bit of that forest and I started on the search for the continuation of the forest. It seemed as though there had to be more forest, but for some reason I couldnt find it.
Eventually I saw it. The trees seemed to rise above all and it seemed ridiculous that I had not seen for so long. I instantly felt a strong spiritual presence and I quested in for a spiritual journey.
My other two friends also came along on many journeys. You could tell the forest had an angry presence about it. Somedays its presence would be so angry that we wouldn’t go in.
Inside there were paths that always lead to different places. The places were somewhat consistent but which path lead where, was not. There was this place where you could see three large shadows behind a veil of trees, that you could not tell how far away they were. The first time I saw it, I looked straight at them and tried to figure out what they were. At first, they looked like three trees, but as I concentrated harder I thought they were two houses and then one building. All of a sudden the building was a man in black robes and it was on top of me strangling me. I broke my vision with the Three Protectors as I later decided to call them and the man was gone, I looked back and they were three objects again, but when I took a closer look, they started to morph and I ran. Whenever you were at that spot though, you could never think of actually crossing the thin veil of trees for some reason. About a week later, for some reason my stomach just started knotting and I couldn’t think of anything except that dark man, with the black robes for a while. One time when I was walking past that spot with one of my friends, he turned around and looked at the three protectors “what are those?” he asked “they look like trees, no I think they’re houses” I remember tackling him and breaking his vision with them. I don’t think my other friend ever even saw that place.
My other friend, the one that couldn’t see the three protectors had a few pretty strange experiences as well, but im not sure what right I have to tell you guys, so I’ll keep those to myself.
Despite the forests aggression, I was drawn to it. I played music for it and took garbage out of it (which it appreciated, or else I wouldn’t have done it). But the real turning point of the forests attitude was when I went in one day and it was simply being pleasant. When I got near the three protectors, I saw the small figure of a man, dressed in brown robes and with a flowing white beard on the side of the path. I wondered if it would still be there when I got near. I got just near enough to see its eyes, it winked at me and when I got closer it was only a log sticking out of some snow with some snow coming off the front of it. When I looked past the log however, I saw the three protectors, with another, smaller shadowed shape next to them, holding what looked like a giant staff, they made no move of aggression towards me.
The next time when I went in with one of my friends, we were overcome with some kind of joy that felt like we were on some kind of drug. We even left the path, something we very rarely did except in overwhelming necessity (I can think of one). Despite the fact that they moved, the paths were the only thing you could hold onto without completely leaving yourself open to the forest. Once you left the path, the forest could do anything to you.
But this time it was different, there were these huge, kind of walls of darkness, but when ever we got near, it would lighten up for us. After that, the forest was completely accepting toward the three of us.
But one day, when I went there, it was all gone. Trees were bound together, just looking as if they were torn from the earth, the earth torn apart, covered in dying life. I recognized individual trees, the black one that stood out from all the others, the one that my friend had such an attachment to. It was like seeing the dying bodies of my close friends and I didn’t know how anyone could have been capable of doing this. The forest had seemed unbelievably powerful, had I moved against it, I think I might have had a stroke or something.
Then I looked up. The three protectors stood towering, in the human world above everything, with a look of murder about them. Someone had not only entered the three protectors field, they destroyed it, and now they stood, looking more powerful then ever before.
The next day the three protectors were gone, but the forest spirit still felt strong, but after time, that too slowly disappeared. I cried and mourned the death of the forest and ever since then I have not had a clear vision.
I still visit the remains of the forest, and through one area you can see the faded remnants of the three protectors, but you don’t feel anything and everything feels dead. If you go in deep enough, you can feel a shadow of what it was.
So… that’s my story.

Rehiro: Are the "three protectors" as you call them a formation of trees?
|
|
|
Post by Rehiro on Oct 17, 2005 0:43:58 GMT -5
Heheh they are a formation of trees, houses, a building and a black robed man with fiery hands.
They are a shapeless being that seems to be both close and far away at the same time. They are both three and one at the same time.
I really dont blame you if you think im insane.

That's a LOT more concrete than what I've got. I've got vague feeling and shapes out the corners of my eyes, strange scents on the wind and eyes in the darkness.
However, both my parents have slight seeing abilities, and I can often times tell bits and pieces of the future. I'm particularly gifted at guessing numbers of things.
Sorry to interrupt, Rehiro ,please take the floor.

Y'want to? All right then. Now, to start, the actual accuracy of this account may be debateable as I was three, but this is how I remember it. As far as I'm concerned, every word is true. But I'll let you decide on your own what you think...
It was New Year's Eve. I was three, so I guess that makes in December 31st, 1989. Oddly, I awoke from my bed that night at close to midnight. I remember we had a really big window, which I wandered over to. The sky was pure white, save for the yellow moon... And there were black... shapes... rising toward the moon. Think a generic ghost or something. If you remember the ones in 'Nightmare Before Christmas', they looked like that except jet black. I watched for a long time, and then went back to bed, when the shapes grew too few to hold my interest.
And that's my tale. Weird, eh?

I couldnt say if it had anything to do with the three fold law or the triple god/dess. Though spiritual, I am afraid that I am quite ignorant. I was always the one to give out spiritual advice and help peopl find their spirituality, but where am I to go when im having spiritual troubles? I would be quite thankful to any theory's that you might provide.
I should mention that I also had a lot of smaller visions between the time of the Golden Wolf and the Three Protectors. Now I still see strange things every once in a while but its always at the remnants of where the forest used to be. These are some of the more recent ones: I saw a bunch of people standing on the train tracks one time and from a distance they all looked as large and still as trees, but when they came closer, they were just regualar humans to look at. One time I saw them conversing and from a distance they still looked huge so I tried to sneak up on them. When I got closer, a normal looking guy, probably a young adult wearing normal clothes and looking normal walked down from where they were. He looked at me and walked straight into a ditch and disappeared. At the time, this seemed completely normal. One time when I was walking through the smaller forest, an old woman with two dogs that were impossably huge walked out in front of me. The dogs were basically walking in unison on either side of her and she was just staring at me with an intensity and a friendly smile on her face. I waited for her to look away but she didnt, so I smiled back. She looked pleased, whispered something indestinct and at once she and both the dogs turned around and headed back into the forest and out of sight. I spotted a guy following me twice, but when I look back, I can only glimpse him for like a split second before hes gone. These visions of people always leave me with a sort of feeling, like im being wishfull or something.
But my most recent vision was strangely powerfull. I was walking to the forest, their was a person walking their dog and all of a sudden their was this huge boar charging and screaming out of the bushes and disappear. It all happened in like a split second but I almost fell down in shock. When I looked where the dog walking person had been, they were gone. When I went into the forest, I could hear the leaves of the trees rustling above me and only the ones above me at all times untill I heard this loud crunch behind me. I had this odd feeling of being watched and when I got to this one spot where this hollow tree had been. It was uprooted and laid on its side.
But these visions still feel weaker. I could go on, I hadnt realized that I had had so many encounters until I just tried to write them.

Have you tried interpreting these visions? Have you researched about the place where you live? Maybe something historical happened there... You don't need to reveal anything, though. I know you don't like feeling exposed in that way! ^_^

Well... I have had one odd experience lately... I shall say...
I was in gym class.... I know: Ooooh! How mysical, GYM! Well... *ahem* I was in Gym class, and I was standing around, "playing" soccer. It was a cold day, but very dry. As I stood there, I saw the most athletic boy in the class dribble towards me. He kicked the ball directly at me. For a single second in time, everything froze. Then time came back on. I imagined myself kicking the ball.... But instead, it hit my directly in the face. Instead of crumpling to the ground, I just stood there. My nose began to bleed. And I just stood there. I personally have no idea why. But then, as people rushed to me, I began moving. I wiped my nose, and seeing the blood on my hand, I randomly wished that it would rain. And a few minutes later, the clear sky was filled with clouds, rain pouring down...
That is all.
