Oh, he's not attractive personality-wise (he's an evil bonkey mutt in that sense), but he has purty hair.
Ok, yes, I'm very much aware that Inuyasha is a cartoon.... But, if I turned his cartoony body into a real one, it would be hott. He has a very nice... shape. *cough* And there were a lotta bubble. @@

See, I can't criticize anyone for who they think is hot. When I was young I had a huge crush on Davey Jones from the Monkees. I know you will have to google to find out who that is. He may have been a real person but he was pretty close to being a cartoon, in as much as that the Monkees were a made for TV band that didn't play their own instruments. And I knew that perfectly well, but it didn't effect my feelings. When I think back on it, I'm sure that Inuyasha et all are all more "realistic' characters.

Uh, I had a dream that contained Zerlocke briefly. I was just walking to this one place that I go to sometimes and on my way I ran into all these soldiers and carts filled with weapons and stuff and there were war elephants and stuff. So naturally I tried to remain hidden and get to a safe place. I managed to make it to this strong hold and then all these people were congradulating me on surviving through an open battle field and they dress me up in this heroes armor and then im all ready to fight in this huge battle where I will probably die, protecting people I hardly know. Anyway among us higher ranked people was Zerlocke, in his normal form and with his giant axe.
Anyway, the dream goes on for a bit, but thats the only part with a Charby character. The rest contains this girl who dosent want me to die, but dosent value her own life, a guy who threatens to shoot me if I try to leave and a struggle in my conscience of weather to stay and fight, or to run away as soon as the battle begins.

I wish I had dreams as exciting as yours! I do have interesting ones sometimes, but I usually can't remember them after about 5 minutes awake.
So, what did you decide to do at the end? Or did you wake up before you chose?
|
|
|
Post by Rehiro on Sept 1, 2005 0:56:08 GMT -5
I woke up right when the decision was about to be made... the reasons for my staying to fight are rather stupid. In the dream I thought so too.
I had a dream about war the night before as well. In which many of my family members, all but one of my pets and Gandalf are killed. The dreams are kind of nice in the way that I always get to feel all powerfull and important and stuff, a feeling I never have in real life but their stressfull and im a little scared to go to sleep now. Okay that one I mentioned just now, it wasnt pleasent at all, it was scary and depressing... heheh.
I cant place my feelings on them, they dont exactly feel real, but they do in a way and in both of them I have to decide between running or staying, in the first one I run but im afraid I might have stayed to fight in the second one, had I not woken up.
It also seems odd that CTV characters are always portrayed in a negative manor in my dreams. In the first one they abandoned and tried to destroy one of there own and in the second Zerlocke was a supporter of war and violence.
I looked up war in a dream dictionary and it said I was having some kind of conflict. Most likely between my morals and my instincts.

I had another dream with Rehiro in it! I was a this place.... It was almost like a cave.... Called "Plushie camp." Please don't ask me why. Every day we would do random things, such as: Rope climbing, painting, reading tutorials on how to apply colored contacts. Rehiro was in this class... And so was Densad... ( www.drunkduck.com/Doodles_in_Time ) But instead of reading, Rehiro was making a poster... I didn't see what was on it, but he was making it. But, instead of being a griffon in this dream, he was a boy, looking about eleven... With black hair, and wearing rags. But my brain registered it as Rehiro. Please don't ask me why.

My dream dictionary says that the poster symbolizes something the unconscience is trying to show you. I cant say what me showing up as an eleven year old symbolizes but the rags symbolizes feelings of depression, inadequacy and rebellion against authority or society. It dosent say anything about camp but I think it might mean a situation or place in your life in which you are not allowed much freedom. The cave symbolizes the process of reproduction, your subconscience and the void you face at the end of individuality, of fear and trauma.
I think that the camp and the cave symbolizes a state of being inside your subconscience where individuality and creativity are comprimised. I show up as the only person feeling the effects of this situation; dressed in rags, I have been reduced to a depressed state but I rebel by trying to show you a message. I think I symbolize a part of your subconscience, perhaps your individuality that is feeling repressed and im trying to tell you something. I dont know why its me taking on that role, people often come up with recurring symbols, for me, I often dream of rats, dogs, train tracks and now war.
I just thought i'd take a stab at what your dream meant. Also something that might be significant is that the cave is also symbolic of the womb and the boy is symbolic of your child, so its like im your unborn child, but im not even going to try to make sense of that.

@__@ Wow... Does that mean that Densad is also my unborn child O__=? Umm... The online dream journal says that I am protective of you, but how could that be? I am most definately younger than you... The way my dad (the obsesser of all things psycological) told me that I might be in love. wow. I don't think I am in love.... *twitches*

Post by Amelius on Sept 6, 2005 0:15:45 GMT -5
here are a few examples of my dreams...
I rarely dream of children, but on one occasion I can remember, I had to babysit this baby (I have never babyast and I'm not really fond of small humans with all honesty haha) and for some reason it wasn't wearing clothes (yech, diaperless!) but I had to run with it because some strange man was chasing me, through sand dunes on a beach. (I twisted my left ankle on a sand dune IRL and ruined my cross-country running career by getting tendonitis in it) Then for some reason, I'm running down one of these dunes, but I don't see the man anymore so I think I have to hide. I set the kid down for like a second, and suddenly he starts sliding down the hill and there is a lot of dangerous things at the bottom (rocks, and water) but I make a dive and the only thing I can grab is his head. I grab that alright, but his body doesn't stop and I'm holding the horrified, still moving head of an infant in my hands as the rest of the body slides down the hill. That dream just made me feel sick in the morning. Another dream that made me feel ill involved picking up what I thought was a half of a fossilized bird shell which turned out not to be fossilized after all as a rotten bird body lands at my feet. Apparently listening to the Cars' cover of "little Black Egg" did that to me. (and in this one I am walking along a road in my neighborhood, dirt is piled high on the sidewalks on each side as if there is construction going on) Both were very vivid dreams. Today I woke up upset because in my dream I was on some sort of celebrity tour, and the guide was getting a bit cranky with people in my group talking (you know how a teacher will just stare angrily at someone who is talking when he is trying to talk? Like that) but the reason I got upset is when we all sat down at some table for him to discuss something, a girl right next to me who I think was the guide's assistant lookes me right in the face and smugly whispers "freak." right at me (I was wearing the clothes I'm wearing today, just plain black pants and a shirt) I had this overwhelming feeling of wanting to punch the smug smile off her face. Instead I did what I always do, ask "excuse me?" in a stammering tone and the guide gets mad at me for talking, so I just tattle on her right there telling him that his assistant is being disrespectful to me. I don't remember what else happened but I do remember the scene flashing back with several different outcomes, one being me pinning her down and indeed punching that silly smile off her face, another being me telling her she's jealous because I don't have to put the entire Revlon factory on my face like her to get attention(she was heavily made-up like all the girls in my school where, I don't even bother with the stuff honestly.)And another with me just repectfully asking what the heck her problem was with me.
What a lot of my dreams have in common is they seem to be in the same places. Often I am running for some reason (usually I have joined a race that I am not in, but am running it for fun) through swamps and up a huge hill that has a swamp and entire lake at the top, with these odd buildings at the docks that look like trains. Often times if I go in there is a huge, filthy bathroom with many stalls that have no doors and it looks like a locker room. This is always haunted. I also have another dream of a haunted mansion where every room is either ridiculously huge or bent-over and crawling small. And yes the bathroom in that one is haunted (something about being freaked out in the shower and running in terror nekkid just doesn't sound fun) and also a big room full of stuffed animals where the light doesn't work quite right. I can feel eyes watching me in that one and things brush up against me in the dark. Sometimes I go into the basement, the huge room seems pleasant and almost like something from the past, the room is full of wooden crates, ropes and wicker furniture, everything is warmly lit like there is a fire lighting the room.
Another frequent location is a combination of a backwoods trail, lilly-pad filled swamps, and a lake that only barely resembles the one my grandparents have their cottage on. I have too look out for alligators in the swamp even though I have no danger of them IRL since I live in Michigan.
The most common thing in every dream is there is a lot of forest land, sometimes it saves me from big things (like for instance a tyrannosaur, I had a dream that it couldn't easily get through the trees long before that was in the movie JP3) and even from a lion (that involved a lot of tree jumping though)
Many times the lake with the haunted bathroom has become a dam or a bridge under which I have found many things that I enjoyed (my favorite figurines in the dirt, and money (that turned out to be fake)) And if there is a body of water in my dream, which is often, there is almost always a tidal wave coming. even a small lake gets all rough and starts flooding, or I can see it on the horison and I'm running on the side of a steep cliff with no way up or out of the way of the water. sometimes if it isn't a tidal wave it is just big waves that keep crashing down on me as I search for something in the water (usually stones) I'm almost always up against a wall of sand in these ones.
Another bad water dream I had recently, I'm on a black innertube and below the suface I see feet sticking out of the sand at the bottom then suddenly I notice there is entire bodies down there, and for some reason I get the impression they are drowned sailors or something (this was before the hurricane by the way) but body parts start floating to the top and I am paddling like mad to get away from them, the water is so clear that it seems shallow but it isn't and I drop something important and have to fetch it from the bottom. That dream pretty much ended with me clinging for dear life to a metal pole in the middle of the lake, the tube has been pulled under and everything looks grey and the sky is overcast and swirling, even the sand at the bottom seems grey but the water is still green against it.
Most of my dreams involve a pack of something chasing me and my friends, through malls usually and sometimes when we are in a car. Zombies and velociraptors are the most common, sometimes it is both. Most often zombies though. And zombie roadkill quite often. One I have all the time is I'm trying to block off this garage so they won't come through but I turn around to find I've locked myself in with a few undead and some have been hiding behind boxes. In another, my friends are there in a room and the zombies are banging on the doors outside butmy friends are playing a card game, and I'm huddled in a corner scratched bloody and humiliated because the zombies ripped off my clothes but only scratched me (and no one offers me a shirt, boo!)
Two particular recurring characters in these dreams are a zombie horse wrapped in strips of paper and chains, and an orange wolf with frightening owl-like eyes that just stares at me no matter where I am. I drew a picture of that when I woke up, I'll see if I can find it.
The worst dream of all those is the one wher I am forced to kill what looks like my cat but is really a demon in its body and I have to kill it or it will kill me and other people, and all I have is a tennis racket, or a bat, and sometimes just my bare hands. It cries pathetically at first but when I turn my back on it the thing tries to attack me because I gave in, and I end up just bludgeoning the thing to death and by the last blow it finally looks like the demon it really is.
It's very rare that I wake up from a dream feeling good. Dreams that involve my characters (which I only have in the first few minutes of dreaming while drifting off, waking up dreams are the ones I listed today)are dreams I'd like to wake up to because those are always pleasant though they rarely involve me unless it is to haunt me through a stuffed animal or something.
hah, I hope nobody gets the wrong impressions of me after reading all this though...I do enjoy sharing. (oo but do tell me I'd like to know.^_^)

I had a dream once where males were killing all the females in the world. For some reason, I was safe though, until I ran out to save a little girl who was being beaten to death in my driveway. I made some longwinded speech about how what was happening was wrong and then I was gutted by the guy's knife. Then I went to heaven, but it was weird. I pretty much strutted into a white waiting room type area and then got upset because no one even looked at me. Then, we were on a tour bus of heaven and everyone was getting pet baby animals and I got upset that all the good ones were taken, so I said sarcastically "What am I gonna get, an anteater?".... and the lady handed me a baby anteater and I felt bad for getting mad, cuz it was cute and I can't remember anything after that, except that I felt like I had been reprimanded by someone really important when I woke up. ^^'
I have really odd dreams when I can remember them, but apart from nightmares, they're usually good ones that inspire or just make me feel good.

Wow! That is really cool! My dream last night: I was singing a song, in the woods... Suddenly, out of the shadows, loomed a grey creature. It looked like a skeleton of a bear, but with grey fur covering the bones! It was a furry skeleton. ;; I was paralyzed by its soulless gaze, but then I found the strength to run away. But my shoes were stuck in mud. I tried to pull them off, but they bit my hands. Everything went fuzzy for a while, but then I was standing in a desert. I was walking, looking for something... I think it was my magic pencil... or something... But I was walking, and I fell... and woe up on the floor of my bedroom. I still feel like I need to find that thing....

I watched the labyrinth and read fanfics on it obsessively for a month and then I had an awesome dream about a "Labyrinth Convention" where the hotel it was hosted at was made into a labyrinth for all the guests to compete in. I got left behind by my group and David Bowie walked by in the Goblin King outfit while talking on his cell phone and he looked at me funny cuz I was panicking... so, I ended up getting really embarrassed and ran through a random door where I thought my group went and I fell through a trap door.... then I had to climb over this floor that was full of holes and I saw one person from my group wave before dropping down grinning. It was actually pretty exciting at that point, but then I went down this sort of slide and I was in a basement-type place. There was a cage full of screaming crazy people and I saw my friend Scott in there. I opened the cage to let him out and they attacked me. Then I ran up a staircase and the real Goblin King was there and he started mocking me. We got in an argument about how my fight was futile (I wasn't even aware there was a "fight" of any sort going on, it was supposed to just be a convention competition) and then I was forced to run, because the globlin king got angry.... and I can't remember much after that.... There was one spot where I was going down a tunnel and a giant spider leaped out, but then I woke up. >>
I was left feeling very accomplished though.

It's awright, I don't expect you to analyze my dreams, atleast! I'm sorry!!!
I HAD THE BEST DREAM EVER!
I was with a traveling chorus. We were performing at a talent compitition, and the act after us was.... you guessed it, KAVONN! He was pulling stuffs out of his hat, first a jackalope, then a street sign, then a lot of black birds. I got very excited about seeing kavonn, so I went over to him after the show. (we were the only two acts. go figure.) Me: Kavonn! Your act rocked! Kavonn: *says something along the lines of "thank you, nice hat"* Me: Thank you! I am a hat guardian, too!
Then Kavonn joined our chorus. We traveled alot, and I remember Kavonn about to say something to me with an adorable look on his face, then I heard my alarm clock ;_________;
I LOVED THAT DREAM! THANK YOU AMELIUS FOR HAVING SUCH A COOL CHARACTER IN YOUR STORY!

I thought that Amelius requested an analysis, but when I said I was busy, I was worried that she might feel like I was going to a lot of effort into doing this, so I included you two, to take some of the attention off of her. Im just being an idiot with wording, also im thinking that some people might not appreciate having their dreams picked apart and having me tell them all there problems.
Anyway, guess what? for the first time in my life im consistently having nightmares! I never used to have bad dreams, just wierd dreams that I thought were funny... last night I woke up biting my own hand.

ow, I hate waking up doing something like that (I've smacked myself but good before in my sleep, I think it was the bloody nose that woke me up)
That is ok Rehiro if you don't want to bother with all that, I was just sharing but I certainly would be interested if you could find out what is up with those odd recurring dreams.
I honestly can't even remember the dreams I've had the last few days, I've been sleeping kind of odd though.
Hey no prob Shippo I'm glad Kavonn could make a good appearrance for your dream!
I agree also, dreams are a good place to get ideas and a lot of my best ideas (or so I think) come to me when I'm just going to sleep. Because like I said when I'm waking-up dreaming, stuff has gotten beyond my control and I don't get to influence it as much if that makes sense. That is when I get roadkill staring at me from across the street... ( I tried drawing it again today and my friends thought it was a little creepy)
