I think my mind confuses itself and spits out random stuff that it doesn't even understand.

I understand what you're talking about. We're all human beings, and certain things will always mean certain things. The reason I don't believe Dream Dictionaries are as helpful as they would claim to be is because they put definitions to obscure objects: Teeth in a dream means...how you feel about your overall health? What if teeth DON'T mean that to you? Plus, dream dictionaries can only cover so much of the definition.
I don't say they aren't helpful at all. Understanding what the basic meanings of simple symbols are helps lead to deeper understanding. Things like Charby appearing in your dreams, however, can't be explained: There won't be an entry for Charby, or your best buddy Fred. There might be an entry saying, "A fictional male character who exemplifies what you want out of your masculinity" or something like that.
I know how complex the human psyche is. No two people will ever see the same event in the same way. Even if there are some common themes, there will be a different interpretation. So, here's where I think the compromise is: The dream dictionary helps flesh out the dream a little more, but to truly understand it, you need to have a degree in psychology and the ability to ask the dreamer questions.

Yes, to fully and truely understand it, you must first understand yourself... or have someone... understand you.
A thing like Charby probably does have to have a fairly personal meaning. And if you took all the elements of him and analyzed them, then you might get some idea, but you might not. Because his concept exists as itself, and is inflexable. To be Charby is to be Charby. Not, vampire, pirate, fangs, boy, dark hair or something like that.
I dont even think we're arguing against each other anymore. Just about slightly different degrees of the same answer.

Woah, I had a really wierd dream, and yes it had Charby in it. It was quite short, and was probably because I was re-reading the archives before I went to bed. Anyways, back to the dream. So, Charby and Ballade (the purple dude, not the cat. Megaman character, I drew the pic.) were there, both wearing grey suits and red ties, with bowler hats and sunglasses. Charby had a cane and was leaning on it. I was also teaching them both how to fly. That is all I can remember, it was odd none-the-less. I woke up and thought that I should remember it because it is amusing.

K, so I was having this very vivid dream. I can't remember all of it, but I remember that it was vivid.
I got out of bed. Went to the computer and found that Charby had finally updated. We found out that Vic was a demon. Charby grew up and was king, and had a really cool goatee and Satan mustache. Zeno was a knight, and was so preoccupied with being a good knight that he neglected Mye who had become a princess of some sort. Also? I found out that Mye doesn't look nice in pink. Just not her color. Menu was Charby's advisor. And everyone was in this really cool style of uniform; alternating light and dark red with black rims everywhere and lots of shiny black buttons. I think it's similar to the cover of the first of the Wolf Tower trilogy, but red. I drew a couple pictures of it. If anyone actually wants to see. The uniform is really all I could remember.
And to anyone who decides to post here again, I had another dream. Sora from KHII was locked in this dome made from those thick wire fences. There's battle music coming on, and Tony rises out of the ground. The following conversation went a little like this: "Prepare to die, Nobody!" "'Nobody'? Is dat anyways to greets someones even if they's is youse opponent? Not very polites is mine thoughts." "Well, you've got to be either a Nobody or a Heartless, and the Heartless can't talk. Therefore, you have to be a Nobody." "... Youse don't gots many friends, do youse..." And so on. Don't know why I'm sharing this, though.

I had this dream where Harry Potter was teaching Hexavier to fly on a broomstick and Hex was really bad at it so he blew up Harry Potter's head then started flying on the brromstick really well. At that moment, Peter Pan came flying in with Wendy, John, Micheal and Tinker Bell and they all started singing that "you can fly" song from the disney movie. Then Hex blew up their heads and he was in this wierd castle thingy where a mushroom dude came up to him and said "I'm sorry your princess is in another castle." and Hex blew up his head. Then I magically teleported into the Hyrule temple arena from SSBM wher I saw Chuck Norris roundhouse kicking Link. Then I was in the CTV cabin basement where Mye was looking into a crystal ball watching Hex blow up peoples' heads saying "DANCE MY PUPPET! DANCE!!!" When Kavonn came in and the two of them started singing "The Phantom of the Opera". -~-THE END!!!-~-

Well... he sounded like ummm... this kid I knew once... Yep, this kid named Jonathon, who was my best friend and the best singer in our grade. He was eight when I last saw him then he moved away to go to some expensive private school.

It was a kid's voice. It was a nice kids voice though. I think I would be scared if it was a man's voice

I had a dream... It was that band that Zeno's wanted to make... Menu was on drum set, for some reason he bore a resemblance to that red headed thing from the Muppets who’s always screaming and banging on his drum set, Kavonn on five string bass, and Dor and Cat Legend were fighting for who got to be on electric piano. Mannic didn't make the band because he couldn't find a 'good singer' hat. Zeno was electric guitar and first singer; Foomy was electric guitar and second singer. I think there were other people... Oh yeah, Little Johnny Christmas and another guy from Reel Big Fish were playing trumpets and trombones. When they got onstage, which looked like the moon’s surface, Zeno started getting mad at Foomy, whose guitar had caught on fire, but he didn't do it, it was Sandra from Zebra Girl. I kept trying to tell them that it wasn't his fault, some other girl did it, but they refused, and kicked Foomy off the band AND the stage. I caught him, but then I got caught on fire, and the boy I have a crush on threw a bucket of water on me. Then they started playing ‘Don’t Start A Band’ by Reel Big Fish, and as I woke up, it was stuck in my head.
The nicest part was when my crush doused me. The really bad part, which makes me feel all awful inside, was that they didn't believe Foomy or me. Sort of guilty because I didn't succeed, and bewildered, cause I don't really like Foomy, but mostly, I hated Zeno because he wouldn't believe me. The two guys from Reel Big Fish supported Zeno, too. Typical. Ze End!

I’ve had at least three dreams with Charby (or CTV characters) in them.
The first I had wasn’t incredibly related. I was just on the bus going to school, giggling at Tony. He was sitting across the aisle, and blowing sparks out his nose so no one else could see. I kept laughing and saying, “Tony stop!” because I didn’t want him to get caught.
Er, then things got off topic and before I knew it, me and some boy (he’s from one webcomic or another, but I can’t remember which for the life of me) were walking to the docks. On the end of this misty dock was a poor dead kitty. I think it might have been Masan. *sniff* Then I “remembered” that the vapors off a dead cat would grant a wish. I knew Hex would really want some of those vapors. So I breathed in real deep and tried to run off to find something to hold my lung-full of magic. Of course, I keeled over, fell off the dock, and woke up. Sorry Hex!
The second I had was pretty cool. I only remember the end. As far as I can guess, another universe had opened up. (I’ll just refer to everything from that universe as Alter-Soandso.) Mye and Alter-Mye had swapped places. When I could actually remember stuff: the gang from the cabin were all stepping up to a portal and waving while their Alter-Selves on the other side were all stepping up to the portal and waving. When they had all met their Alter-Selves, they all went off in a very good mood.
But wait! Zeno and Tony realized that while Alter-Mye was home in her Alter-cabin, Mye was home with them! They rushed through the portal, and ran to the front row (apparently Alter-Menu lives in a movie theater). There was Mye, bewildered, but glad to see them. Then I woke up. I was so mad that I invented an ending, where Zeno took Mye back through the portal and Tony followed, sad that Mye was more glad to see Zeno than him. And as he was closing the door/portal, he saw Alter-Mye and Alter-Tony kissing. He smiled and closed the door. AWWW!
The third and final dream had pretty much nothing to do with CTV. But here goes: I and my sisters (I don’t have sisters, btw) were on the run from some people who wanted us dead for some reason. We were chased down by one of them, who turned out to be Tony.
He said he was sick of hanging out with the other crooks (Charby and Zeno, I assume!) because they didn’t appreciate his new catchphrase. He demonstrated by doing his 'BANG! Shot down!' hands, except he made a much more lame, “Pkew! Pkew!” sound. We all oohed and aahed quickly, and apparently we made all the right noises, because he looked happy and joined our little group. He disappeared somewhere between then and the end of my dream. X(
Okay, guess how awesome I think Tony is? So yeah. Has anyone else had any CTV dreams since November 25 ‘06? What about before then? Huh?

Hey, entire-forum-which-has-probably-forgotten-about-me. =3
I had a vaguely Charby dream that I just wanted to write down somewhere, coz I remember it being a fun dream (even though I can't recall specifically why it was so).
Anyways, it seemed to take place during the current party arc. And it starred Kavonn, along with a friend of his who only exists in this dream and not the comic. A strange ghost girl by the name of Violet. (Given her ponytail, I'm willing to believe she's the ghost of Violet from the Charlie Brown comics.) She was a very lazy ghost (not unlike my own character Spirit. Being a ghost made him lazy. The reverse is true for my character Tsukai--being lazy made him a ghost.) She frequently floated about six inches off the ground, paralle to the floor (i.e. she was always lying down). She'd prop herself up with her arm like a seal when talking to someone, but that's about all the movement you could get out of her. Nonetheless, Kavonn seemed fully enthralled by her. I think he had a crush on her (very unusual, but it WAS a dream). I wish I could remember specifics, coz it was a fun dream. I just can't remember what made it so fun... Ah, well...
And now to mysteriously vanish back into the folds of your memories again. =3

I wish I'd been here for all that. It took a bit, but I read through this topic(though, I skipped the more tangential stuff). Even if my commenting in these forums produces nothing, I still think that this place deserves to be more oft used. So, here we go...
I've had at least five CTV related dreams. Two of them I couldn't remember after waking up, but I did remember they had CTV in them. One, I did remember, but forgot completely later. And the last two:
1.) My first ever (and therefore most remembered) CTV dream- Usually my dreams are a nonsensical conglomeration of insignificant thoughts, but this was one of the rare exceptions. I don't recall what came before it, but it was unrelated to CTV. Anyway, I was in a van and it was driving up a large hill with a lot of trees. When I arrived at the top and got out, apparently all the Cabin residents and the Petruccis were crammed in there too. Everybody got out and apparently, the reason everybody was there was because, beforehand, in experimenting with magic, Mye had discovered some sort of magical anomaly at this location. Zerlocke was there for his magical skills, but also obviously to be with Mye. [From what I gathered, everybody else was just there for an "adventure"] The gang found a portal, in the form of a bridge-like wooden structure on the edge of a cliff, that lead to a snowy, white, dreamlike mountainous world. Mye, of course, was the only one being serious at all, and Zerlocke was not needed at the moment, so he rather despondently went and built a snowman. Much to his agrivation, it got its head lopped/ knocked of repeatedly, at least once by Menu who was sledding(I believe with Crispo), Zeno was being stereotypically moody and downtrodden. I think there was also a hotspring, but everybody was pretty much just having snowball fights. I sure had an adventure in slumberland that night. I woke up chipper that day.
2.) Just last night, actually. I don't remember a whole lot, but it took place in what I can only describe as a rave-warehouse/ karaoke bar, but in the twenties and it was not being used at the time. The story revolved only somewhat around karaoke, but there was some huge problem that caused everybody to panic, and whatever the issue was, it pertained primarily to Zerlocke. Mannick tried to helping him, but was told that he wouldn't be of any help, at which point he decided to talk to me(I rarely am ever myself in my dreams. Usually I just observe events, but this time I was Tony. That made me pretty happy). I gave him some advice and we had a nice friendly discussion, after which he was able to solve the problem, and everybody was very happy and congratulated him on a job well done. Zerlocke, especially, who gave him a friendly hug. Mannick then got to sit on a throne and was smiling and happy. I remember being a little sad, although still happy, and feeling left out. Poor Tony... The End. I actually don't remember what happened next, but it was a new unrelated dream. One thing I left out, because I don't remember what role it played or when it happened, although it was definitely in the CTV dream, was a train station that was located on the face of a forested cliff and the train tracks were sort of hanging in the air, but still connected. It seemed important, but that's all I can remember.
