Talking heads style would be rather meh. if theres three guys they need to interact, usually in potentially dangerous ways.
At the very least busts would be a requirement so we get arm movement and then theres the fact giants are huge.
Ok I got a general colorscheme up. comments on it seeing as we may have to look at it for a while.

I also have a few character designs worked out i'm curious to see what you guys have worked out as well so that we can have some semblance of uniformity... well scratch that I just want to see what you guys designed.

I'll get something up today (hopefully). Also I'd only be twice as tall as one of you. Not the kind of giant that steps on houses, just the kind the steps on cars. So long as that's shown every once in a while people wouldn't forget and would just know.

@odin AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! THE BLUE!!! Could you make it a tinted tone? (Light with slight grayish-ness added) Aside from the glaring blue there, I like the color scheme in general. Actually, is it possible for me to modify it? I think I've got an idea.
Also, by "taking heads" I meant to include torsos in it as well. "Talking torso" just sounds doofy. I should've clarified that gesticulation would be included.
Wait, so is it "Mythic Webcomic Reviews" or "Mythic Reviews", to be clear, because there's a possibility of reviewing other web-media, too (if we wanted to).
@jety Thank goodness.
@both I've done a rough idea of myself and Jety in a style that I could draw. I'll get it up when I can.

That particular blue is just really distracting. How many different things are there to choose colors for?
It depends on what you guys are wanting to do with it. We've all got webcomics in mind, that's the foundation, but artists, who don't write comics, for example, might be something to add in, or fanfics you like, or even podcasts. One might even review a website itself, but I've derailed the train, now haven't I? Webcomics. That's what we'll start with.

there are approximately 16,777,216 different hexadecimal colors. would you like a lighter blue or some form of dark grey or what? I'm open to suggestions as thats honestly the first colorscheme i've ever thrown together. I set up a solid black bacground and changed the lings to dark grey but i think it may be a bit much black. you guys should be able to edit the skin if you have any idea's seeing as you should have access to the admin section of the forum.
These other things to review are good things to keep in mind we may yet expand our work to other things if this takes off right. heck we may do it anyways for kicks every once and a while.

fine by me. would you like a color chart to help with the editing process?
also what is up with all the options? too many choices gives me a headache.

options make the world go round.
I forgot to upload the images of my style... (oops). There's a chance I can get it done anyway though.

Yes. Too many options. I don't need a color chart. I'm somewhat "fluent" in hex color (though I'll still be tweaking if it looks bad.)

Lucky I was tossing out the occasional color here and there from a massive chart.
And Jety check the skin maker thing there are way too many options.

Anywho.... we should start working on a script formula for comic reviews.
I'm thinking
Introduction (Title, Type of comic, Author, etc) Art (Layout, character recognizability, detail, stuff) Story (dialogue, pacing, plot, stuff like that) Third thing (probably comic navigation or something I dunno) Closer (overall rating and farewells)
|
|
|

Sounds good. The third thing could be for anything outside of the comic itself, such as site design, update frequency, extra details like products for sale, mentioning of other works by the author, and notes on the author.
I drew some sketches, but got carried away and what I ended up with may be too complicated for this purpose.

It's not very inviting. :T
Btw, I assume reviews will be written, posted in the proboard, and then adapted for comic scripting, wherein mention of the full review will direct readers to the forum? Reviews can get rather lengthy if you're into it.

Alrighty. Ifn ya didn't notice yet, I've set up my color scheme. I quite like it. It's a modified version of the basic monochrome one from before, but with a friendlier, blue scheme, though still cool, 'cause it's dark. Also, do you know why it only shows my color scheme when I log out? It's showing the black and gray one when I'm logged in.

You mean the censored words? I'm switching them to more... humorous alternatives, if that's okay. Then again, there'll always be instances where it's perfectly reasonable to use these words, so perhaps that's not a great idea. I dunno...
