I think I might have topped even myself this morning. I actually, HONESTLY forgot what year it was. For about fifteen minutes I sat there wondering. I had to start at my birthday and count up... then I forgot how old I was, so I had to sit and think about it for another minute.

I forgot my name at one point. I was introducing myself and I completely drew a blank on my own name. No joke.

I kinda forgot my name (well, I mispelled it or something) once when I was writing a name tag, but in my defense there was a really pretty girl there. I sometimes forget myself around pretty girls.
I forgot my older brother at college one day, he's extremely strange. Does that count?

I forgot the pencil I was holding in my hand. I forgot that the correct term is 'Plain Jane' when I was thinking of a screen name. I forgot the book that I'd been reading nonstop since we went on vacation, and for all I know, the first book of the Bruce Coville unicorn series is still sitting on a deserted park bench somewhere in the middle of Yellow Stone. I have a habit of leaving 20$ bills in theme parks by accident. And at the beginning of summer, I forgot to bring my birthday present to my friend's party that was held on the last day of school, and as a result I have an unopened package of high-quality markers sitting in a pink and white striped gift bag sitting on the foot of my bed. Yeah, I get that too.

What, just that? Why, that's the most common thing to forget. I often do it 3 times a day. To be fair, those are the days after I have an all-nighter. ;D

i often forget what day of the week, month, or even year it is... Which is bad when you've got block scheduling for half of your classes... ^_^

I forgot the pencil I was holding in my hand. I did that once. I was searching for about twenty minutes, then I found it in my hand. I also forgot I had saved a game exactly 5 seconds after I had saved it. I also have forgotten what classes I have (and what order they go in) at high school. I almost went into a full-scale panic attack at least four times last year.

Uh oh, double posties ain't fun. Hmm, I seem to recall having forgotten the name of a specific favorite webcomic, and spending an entire week trying to find it using only Google, Online Comics, and caffeine for brainstorming. Do you know, if you don't know the name or the artist of the webcomic, that Online Comics can be hideously painful to search in? And then when I finally got to the website, I found that it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. For those curious, it was called "Exterminatus Now", and I'm sorry I ever set my pointer apon that button. Wee, this is a fun topic. Does telling stories about how one has forgotten things and how they remembered them again count for being on topic?

I think so. If nothing else, it's at least interesting. So Ryo, if you're going to start in... let me handle it ok? Please? I won't let it get out of hand! ... I hope. [Edit: Ryo, you know I'm just teasing, right?] Now, as far as on topic goes....
I was driving out to a starbucks about an hour ago and realized about halfway there that I'd left my glasses behind. For the record, I am sitting two feet away from the monitor. If I remove my glasses, I can not read the text I type, I can barely BARELY read the text you posted. at a distance of one foot I can read said text. My eyes are pretty weak. I'm surprised I didn't hit anything.

Uh oh...
I've forgotten some pretty strange things. I forgot who I was after I got hit by that truck, but that's to be expected, methinks. Basically means that when I woke up and found myself in the hospital with a number of needles and such stuck into my arms, I completely freaked out, and ripped everything out. Then, I kind of like, stared around, and said "Hmm. I see no coroner..." and went back to sleep like nothing had happened. Scared the living bajeezus out of the nurse. XD

That's awsome. What's a coroner? Oh, today I forgot a very important thing. I forgot that I'm a lazy teenager, and did the dishwasher-unloaded, put away, including the big dishes on the counter, and put dirty dishes in-without being asked to just because I was annoyed that I couldn't find a bowl for my Cheezits. I was afraid my mom was going to cry of happiness.

Plain Susan...you might not enjoy this explanation of a coroner.
Coroner- Basically, a coroner is a type of scientist that deals with the body. He(or she) performs a forensic procedure called an autopsie(aw-top-see). Now, an autopsie is when a coroner has a body stretched in front of him. He makes a huge Y-shape incision into the torso to examine the enternal organs. The reason of it is to see how the body died(Cause of Death, COD),the time the person died(TOD, Time of Death), and Manner of Death,MOD. I have seen the procedure dozens of times, really(should I tell her about the CSI obsession I have? Naaww...). Heheh. I love to talk about this stuff. -------------- I have forgotten the pencil in my hand DOZENS of times...and what day it is.

I have forgotten lots of things.
I always forget what day it is (month, week, day, year, etc.), as well as who I am namewise. My birthday is almost impossible to forget, but my age is easy.
I once managed to forget my pants in a public restroom, but we did go back for them later.
Everyone in my family once forgot my youngest brother in the restroom at some restaraunt in town. We didn't remember him until we were halfway home.
He didn't even know we'd left...
Pencils? I lose so many, it always amazes me when I can't find one just lying around somewhere.
Eh, enough rambling from me.

I often forget what I was about to type (just happened), and I also often forget the endings to jokes I'm telling.
Recently I had to get a photo ID at the DMV, to cross the border. I always use my middle name, but I had to sign my full name on this ID. So, I get my picture, and I go up and sign on the little computer-digital-signature-pad. And I spell my first name wrong. I realise this when she hands me the ID. I explain, and get my picture taken again, and sign it wrong a second time. I ask her to reset the pad, and my Mom spells my name out over my shoulder while I write it. I spell it right that time. ^^;;;;;;; I'm smart, but I'm a little bit ... umm... Ditzy? sometimes.

I often forget that I'm driving. Seriously. I'll get home, turn off my car, and realize that I have no idea how I got there. I'm not a bad driver, I've never been in a wreck or gotten stopped, I just sometimes tend to drive on auto pilot. ^^;;;; I've also forgotten how to get to places I've driven to thousands of times before and end up going someplace completely different. Then I call mom and ask for directions. ^^;;

I had moments at school where I completely forgot what I was doing and where I was. Honestly one day I simply sat down in the halls because I didn't remember where I was. After about a half hour I went to the office and told them that I needed to see my schedule. I hate those stupid memorize games because as soon as the words go away or the cards flip over my mind goes blank. I am embarrassed to say that it took me four months to remember my best friends name when I first met her and I have to say Gina is a pretty simple name to remember... Thats all for now and until next time... I have no idea what I was going to say...

I was on my cell phone with a friend while I was cleaning my room. All of a sudden i started growling and cursing under my breath. He asked what was wrong and for a full 2 or 3 minutes I complained that I couldn't for the life of me find my Frelling Phone!!! After I finally fell silent he took a few seconds and asked "Are you serious or are have the voices in your head finally taken control?" Even then it took a few more "Wait for it...wait for it....." moments before I *facepalmed*. He still doesn't let me live it down.

*giggle* It's not offensive,i am the exact same way with guys.
One time an old friend of mine forgot to bring his little brother to school. The teacher got of the phone saying"have you forgotten something?" And he was like"no...i got my backpack,my coat and----OH CRAP!" He then ran outside and was gone for an hour or so.
'Twas funny.
