I'm an ancient history buff at a school with the mascot THE TROJANS
I was in the middle of a conversation and I forgot who Greece fought in the Trojan war
*face palm*
I forgot what english words mean once... and body language... people kept talking at me and i didn't have a clue what they were talking about

One time I went on a winter retreat to Maryland and while sledding, I hit the back of my head on a tree. I forgot EVERYTHING. It felt like my brain had rebooted. I blacked out for a few seconds, got up and told the others I was fine and would head back to the main building. Trying to focus and remember the way back was pretty much impossible I didn't remember where I was, how I got there, or why I was there. I'd forgotten who everybody was... It was surreal. Very slowly I regained all my memories, but it was so weird to forget everything.
Aside from that, one time I forgot I was spending the night at my grandparents house and woke up like "Woah. This isn't my room. Wait a minute..."

You reminded me of one time I forgot the word "lethologica" which is the name for when you can't remember the word or phrase you're looking for. Ironic, no?

That is increadably ironic! forgetting words happens to me all the time, I'm sad to say, but they come back reletively quickly. Not that I blame them, it's crowded in my head. ^^

If you ever met me in person, you would be genuinely astounded at my lack of articulation with words. I forget the simplest things in conversation, but when writing, I have time to think about how I should phrase things and I don't sound like as much of a fool. On the internet, I'm not put on the spot, as it were.

^I'm similar when tired otherwise I like using big words with simple meanings because everyone around here talks really simple.

Sometimes I forget that the people I work with don't know the words I do and they'll think I'm trying to sound smart. It's odd that I'll remember words like "caliginous" or "whilom" but forget things like "look" or "person". What's wrong with me?

I've done almost all of these things.
I forget my family member's names sometimes, I forget left and right, and many more weird things.
To top it all off, I've (on several occasions) forgotten which where my arms and legs are.

I have a thing about forgetting names. I'm incredibly bad at remembering names. It's been happening a lot in classes lately. The school years almost over, and I don't even know the names of my classmates that sit next to me.
