((But if you shot her, she might make one of their head explode :OOO XD Yeah. Might.))
She ignored him, and drew even closer to one of the aliens.

((They en't aliens, Ship. ^^))
Said creature simply stared at her, in a mindless sort of way, and seemed about to grab ahold of her, when Ragweed revealed himself to be more of an annoyance, and fluttered past her, carrying her out of harm's reach, and a few metres over head. The creature simply stared at him for a second, and moved onto the next closest person- Viktor. Koumori stayed beside her friend, even though every fibre of her being told her to run for it- these things weren't natural! Viktor clung to his Emmeline, looking desperately back and forth for an escape.
Var was busy beating one over the head with his tree branch, crunching it's head into the ground untill it stopped moving. He was about to move to help them, when two more of the things slid in front of him, blocking his root- they weren't mindless zombies. They were narrowing people off.

Emmeline grew warm and seemed to jerk in Viktors arms.... or had he just imagined it? As the creature - the wrong-thing - approached, Emmeline rushed forward to meet it. Her spirit-form slammed down in front of the creature, crouching on its four amorpheous limbs. It grinned, and suddenly its head was all teeth. It changed and shifted like a creature made of water - but only Viktor and the creatures could see it. And hear it.
"Not my Viktor. You can't touch my boy, I won't let you!" It barrelled at the monster, all fangs and claws and sharp pointy painful things.

Koumori didn't see the creature, but she saw the thing being torn to dripping shreds, as though sunderred with invisible steel. She cringed.
Viktor shivered and shuddered, as the ghost... It must be a ghost, within his Emmeline... A good spirit... He clutched the warm doll to his chest, and whispered... "My Emmeline..."

Sara squirmed. "Heeey! Whadyou do that for! That was interesting!" It was the first time Sara had raised her voice in a long while. Her face was completely expressionless, though, like always. (Alien... Something new? Sara thinks that they're aliens )

Rokh stood alone, Ragweed having left him to go tent to Sara. Rokh was completely confounded, he couldn't communicate to the people, had no idea of where he was, and had never seen anything as bizar as these creatures. He cringed as the energy feed to his gun sapped his vision down to basic shades and his ability to moniter his vital statistics faded. Last he saw his communicator was at least 89% complete.
"Everyone move back!" He shouted, motioning wildly with one hand while pointing his gun at the various creatures but not daring to use up the last few shots. It sounded simple in his head, three shots then throw the pistol like a granade. But how to communicate with the people. It was a tense moment but they seemed friendly and antagonistic to these creatures. Truth be told he needed help, especialy if this did turn out to be a waypoint for several different species.

Mikara growled, looking about for a weapon. She knew it was probably foolish to touch these creatures. However, seeing nothing she could use, she did the only thing she could think of. She ran over to Var, whiping her tail around one creature and flinging it away.
(Errmmm... So, what will happen to Mikky's tail now? Or her claws, or fangs... 'Cause hand-to-hand combat is all she knows, and it's what she'll do unless she can find somethign to hit them with....)

*Bzzack!* The sky lit up as Rokh fired at one of the creatures...and missed? It was then he realized that he had made a terible mistake. Yes he had extra charges in a weapon about ready to overload, but his targeting array was down, his scanners offline, and his visual accuity down to shades of grey. Infact the living at a distance were a bit indistinguishable from the creatures unless they moved. "Where can we go? Where is it safe?" He shouted, moving towards where he last saw what he guessed was were the youngins. Tooth and claw wouldn't do much, but somebody had a weapon that could destroy a creature from a distance, probably sonic since he didn't see anything....his sensors being down at the time. But that meant technology.... Oh please say I'm not in the middle of another war. "Lets get out of here!"

Emmeline grinnd humorlessly. "They won't hurt you. Won't hurt anyone," she murmured to herself, slamming a great clawed arm into another creature. Were these the things they had seen before? Different ones of the same sort? And could they see her, as she suspected that one had in the shop? It was all quite curious, now that fear shed from her with her defense form.

"Oh, they could 'see' her, allright," grinned the Storyteller, tipping her outsized hat at an angle, so that it covered her glowing yellow eyes. "They could see her." "Why?" The question caught Tatters off guard, and she turned to stare at the inquisitive child. "Well... Jus' lemme tell the story!"
~~~
The could 'see' Emmeline... But just kept moving forward, separating people off.
Ragweed glared at his charge. "Well, next time, I had might as well leave ya there. These things ain't natural! And here you are, going off and fooling around and..." and so on. After a bit, he dropped her unceremoniously off in a tree top, and picked up a large dead branch, suprisingly strong he was for something so small of stature. "I'll be right back..." he swooped down at the creatures like a dragonfly diving at it's prey, and dropped the branch on top of their heads, cutting them off from Mikara, Var, Rokh, and the others, before fluttering back to Sara, and shouting over his shoulder, "Are we going or not?! I know a safe place..."
Emmeline hit hard and strategically, attempting to break apart the creatures. "Safe. Safe place would be good now, Viktor," she murmured, hoping her charge wasn't frozen with shock or psychic overload.
Did he just understand what was being said? The sentence structure was weird and sounded backwards to him and he had no idea what the tonation meant.....but it sounded good enough for final action. *Pzzack...Pzzack.....Pzzzzzzzzcccrrrchcchhchchchc* The pistol went off directed at the closest undead befor shaking and buzzing violently. That was the last one he thought, tossing it over the branched wall with all his might....it didn't go nearly as far as he expected, but it did clear the wall.
"We need to go -NOW-!!!" He turned to run in demonstration but instantly tripped. His biotechnological and nanites were pretty much inactive....he was going on what was....-naturally- capable for his body....and those were not used to action without assistance. He felt very weak and vulnerable. Getting back up he waited to see where the others were going. "please hurry!"
Sara shrugged.
"Sara'll go. Sara was just curious... She scanned the creatures from the treetops. Not aliens... she thought, now that she looked closer. but not human, either...
Mikara shivered, flicking her tail. It was slimy.
"Let's go!" she meowed plaintively, trying to flick the slime off of her tail without much success.
Ragweed scooped her up, still suprisingly strong for one so slight of build, and dropped her off at the edge of the small, gathering ragtag group. "Follow me!"
Viktor stared up at her, his pale eyes wide with shock. "...Emmeline..." Koumori cast a sidelong glance at him, and then at what she believed to be a shock of static energy- but no... Viktor had never told her of anything like this... Wait- the doll! She glared at the little ragged thing, and for a moment, thought of throwing it into the seething mass that was the creatures. "Come on, Viktor." She tugged at his sleeve, which was a touch too longfor him- all his clothes were too big, giving him an appearance akin to to doll he had named Emmeline.
He nodded, and took one last, lingering stare at the spirit that had come from his Emmeline, and ran after her, following the mothlike faery known as Ragweed.
Var threw his treebranch at one of the remaining creatures, and ran after them, staying a bit behind, to keep guard. "Hurry!"
Emmeline rammed the massing creatures one last time, hoping to stall them from rushing the party, then began to back up, facing the creatures. She would have to return soon. She wasn't allowed out for very long. Already the edges of her vision were twisting into too-sharp, brightly-colored mosaics. Too long, and she would be driven mad.
((Can Rokh here Emmeline? Maybe his translator could pick up her voice as interferance...))
Rokh ran with the others, trying to keep up. Mentaly he thought of how many seconds they might have with an exploding plazma pistol....not many. He just continued to run and tried to listen to what others were saying, redirecting what energy he could to the translator. (((I think it would be great if the translator can pick something up. Also, would my scanner pick anything up? *basic startrek design*)))
After maybe five minutes of running, the group began to slow down, exhausted. The creatures were far off, now.
The woods here were more dense, and the branches seemed to lean in and snatch at their faces, and the air was stale.
Ragweed had landed, and was still leading the way. He hoped that everyone would be ok... He hadn't been back here in years. They weren't expecting him back, that was for sure...
Emmeline had returned to the doll as soon as the creatures were out of sight. She huddled in her vessel, a little disoriented. Viktor? Are we safe? Those creatures could see her... what were they?
She wished she could remember more about the world she had come from.
Viktor simply hugged his Emmeline closer, confused and enthralled and frightened all at once. Koumori kept on glaring at the horrible little thing, and decided that the first chance she got, she'd burn it. Or at least figure out what it was.
"Hm?" Var turned to face her, frowning slightly. "Maybe you should wash it off. Rags- is there a stream nearby?" the beligerent faery turned on his heal, and it was obvious that he was distraught. "Not now- we're almost there!"
The explosion was large and by now slightly distant. He hoped sacraficing his pistol was worth something. He stumbled several times on the run befor finaly tripping and falling over. He took his time getting up, breathing heavily. The adrenalin now gone he felt extremely winded. Why'd the stupid planet have to be so big, Just my luck it would be so far above standard Gravity. He thought, forcing his heavier than normal body back up. air could be a little thinner too. "Can you give me a sec?" Rokh huffed, leaning against a tree.
Well, this is a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into, Emmeline sighed. Unintentionally, she spoke outloud - or rather, directly rather than indirectly. Viktor would have heard that, loud and clear.
"Should exercise more," she grumbled to Rokh softly, ears flat against her skull.
Rokh's eyes widened in suprise. This girl was tough. He was also pleased that he understood what she said....though not happy at what she said. "Theres a standard galactic gravity rating for a reason" he grumbled without thinking.
"You aren't from earth, are you. You're weird." She poked at him with one long finger. She squinted at him, looking him up and down.
