"Energy?" Now the golem was confused. "I was sewing on my arm just now how could you..."
Light dawning. "Cripes! Your blind!" Verve yelped, mentally smaking herself a moment later when she realized how incredibley rude she sounded. She was beginning to regret isolating herself - solitude was apparently affecting her conversational skills.

Grey frowned slightly. Her not-so-much of a secret was out. She sincerily hoped it wouldn't affect anyone's opinions of her... And that noone had heard the whole thing. "I am as blind as you yourself, newcomer. As blind as any other. Would blind not denote the loss of sight? I See as well as any." she paused, pondering. "But yes... Visually, I am blind." she narrowed her eyes for an instant. "What of it?"

"Oh, oh, oh..." Verve moaned, covering her face with her hands, now mortified. Two minutes, and she ahd already managed to offend someone. She scrubbed her eye, feeling tired all of a sudden. She was usually fine with keeping herself awake while she was alone, but dealing with other people often took more energy than the insomniac could spare.
"God, I'm sorry. I didn't mean... I'm not good with people. I should go." If she could still back out of this, she might be able to salvage the shreds of her dignity.

"Peace, newcomer." Grey shifted unconfortably. This strange creature seemed so very nervous, and with out reason... Of well... "I would know the name of one so perceptive.

Suka seemed to think that Moss couldnt stand on his own... he let her continue to think that. "Wait" he said to the cloth creature. She was an oddity, and one that shouldnt be allowed out of immediate attention. He had not been thinking straight for awhile and it was time to collect his wits and start contributing to the situation again. "What is your name? I am Moss, the forest demon" he hoped that was how he had introduced himself to Suka and Grey. Oh yeah, he had confided in them completely. "I would bow to you if I could, but im a little weakened at the moment and would most likely pass out".
"Im a strong believer in fate" he half lied, trying to make the little creature refrain from running like a sensable creature should do. "I believe that our paths must have crossed for a reason" maybe he did believe what he was saying. "Please dont be too frightened. I realize the situation here seems rather bad, but I assure you that we're perfectly harmless".
"This is Grey, this is Suka, and this is Letti" he said, motioning to them each individually. Hoping to have caught them by surprise from acknoledging Letti's location. He was getting smart again.
The cloth girl might be a diversion from the dragon and the elf. He should say something to imply the presence of them just in case. For intimidation purposes.
"Im sorry if I scared you Letti, it was the dragon. I lose my mind when I get near one. I can sense them from miles around, and even pinpoint the location of the ally of a dragon from miles around". He spoke to everyone "This was entirely my fault, im sorry" He could never be sorry for trying to kill a disgusting dragon, but it wouldnt be good to say that. "I deserved that spell, thank you Grey, for making the situation better". He could forgive Grey, but he didnt think he deserved that spell, it was really very potent and it had stopped him from obtaining his goal of killing the dragon. But she was ignorant, she probably thought he was going to kill an innocent soul. So her intentions were pure and just. She had said that she didnt mean for the spell to work so well. But it had still been a pretty traumatic experience.
He focused on the cloth girl. "Im really very sorry for coming off like this. I got carried away and caused a problamatic situation. Its over now. What is your name?"

Moss was lying through his teeth. Grey couldn't stand lies... They really were the bane of ones existance. In fact, she had half a good mind to tell everyone present... But she wasn't sure exactly what he was lying about. She had the suspicion that it was about deserving the spell... But that was probably a bit too obvious, and if that was the lie, Grey agreed with him. Had he heard Verve's exclamation? If so, would it matter? She hoped not...

OOC: Just want to clarify: This. Character. Is. Not. Me. Even though I have said this in the past, I have the feeling that I wasnt fully believed. But Moss' thought process, his fears and actions, are all unique to himself. And hes going to go through some pretty weird stuff in the future, so, if you are associating him with me, I would thank you to stop.
And Moss did hear that Grey was blind, I guess I just forgot to put it in my post. He will make mental note of it later.

Verve shifted nervously under the attention of these others. Most of her was screaming for her to get out of there, but it was only polite to introduce herself, at the very least. "You can call me Verve. I am... not much more than what you see, I'm afraid. Just a golem." She laid a hand absently over her belly. True, she wasn't anything more than a golem, but the magical artifacts she carried... but they were well hidden. She shouldn't worry about that.
She decided to change subjects. "Was it a dragon, then? That you were fighting, I mean. I've never seen one. And I'm sorry, but I really don't think fate led me here, just coincidence. I just get in people's way." She had taken Moss's words at face value, being of a trusting sort and not knowing the forest demon well. And she knew she was coming off as more self-depreciating than she really was, but she was more comfortable travelling alone.
Although, really, they didn't seem like bad sorts.

" Letti took some shy steps forward hiding behind a leaf, seeming both curius and frigthnes at the same time ' So.. You wont throw me off like that again and ... well, not look so... cruel... Im happy mister tree over there captured me ' she points on a big oak tree, then she looks up at Verve ' Youre a doll arent you? ive seen one like you inside Reynas room, that doll got pretty dress that changes colours and has steel buttons. those are scaaaaary... i burnt me on one once... ' she blinked as it seemed like she started to gain confidence again "

Suka wondered what was going on in Mosses mind. She mentally shrugged. He needed help. She was just happy that he was accepting it.
"I believe that that girl was half dragon.... I have often heard that full dragons are.... bigger... And I happen to have researched alot on similar matters..."
Suka knew that she was dropping hints the size of full dragons all over the place. If this "Verve" person had enough perception to notice that Grey-san was blind, then she would most likely spill Suka's secret all over the blood-stained grove. Suka thought that Letti was being awfully adorable, but took not that it would not be wise to hug the little fairy, seeing as there were two very steel Katanas in her sleeves.

Moss pulled himself away from Suka, he needed to concentrate right now and it was very hard to concentrate with Suka in such close proximity. "Um... thank you, I think I can stand now" he said to Suka. He was having some trouble standing on his own, but he could keep himself up if he put most of his weight on his staff. He could taste danger on the air and there was no time to be thinking of such things.

Verve looked down at the fairy, smiling warmly. She was cute, and certainly less intimidating that the big demon. "Yes, I am a... doll. Not like the one you're describing, though. I'm harmless, I swear." She turned to the others. "Well, I didn't see this dragon - half-dragon - so I'm afraid I can't help you there.
She gave Moss a concerned glance. "Are you... okay? You look like you ought to be lying down."

"Yeeeeee" Moss squeeled "no healing, i've had enough magic done on me today" It was just as he had finished speaking that he realized that he had given up a prime opportunity to hook Letti into being friends again, and bringing them inside the barrier.

"Erm..." Moss said "well im sure a little more magic wont hurt me..." Moss was no good at handling cute little children types. He had a hard time saying no. This would get him inside the barrier, but he was completely unattracted by the prospect of putting himself in such a vulnerable position. Maybe he could wriggle out of the situation once he got inside.

"Your going through the barrier then?" Verve was becoming more inclined to stick around the longer she was around these strange people. After all, maybe some socialization would do her good. "I was headed that way, so I guess I could tag along with you folks for a while. If you don't mind." She rifled through her pack, making sure she hadn't lost anything she might need later.

Grey stared for a moment at Verve, and then broke into a wide, uncharacteristic grin. Why not? "But of course!" and then, on a more uncertain note... "So long as my friends would agree." She hoped so... Grey was intruiged by the curious Verve, and wanted to learn of her origins.

A little surprise, the golem didn't respond for a couple seconds, but then broke into a grin. "Wonderful! I haven't travelled with anyone in... a while. You'll have to excuse my lack of social skills." Her antennae waved around excitedly. She really must have been lonelier than she thought. Even since she was made, she'd always been in the companionship of at least one other person (mainly her master), and the habit was hard to break.

"On one condition" Moss said "She goes through, after Grey and before me". He wanted to make sure that this new comer didnt try anything during the susceptable state inbetween barrier and not-barrier. He suspected that Grey and himself were the strongest ones there, so he wanted one of them to be on either side to make sure that she didnt try anything. He had allready tried to go through once, and it had not gone well. Also, he distrusted these people more now then he did before, so he thought that it was Greys turn to go first.

Verve raised her hands. "I agree to your terms." She noticed Letti staring at her antennae and reched a hand up to still them. "Don't worry, they're just excited." She tried to smile reassuringly at the little fairy (without showing her pointed teeth, that is).

"You know, cat demon, offered to join us?" Moss said "Oh, well, she probably just ran off with all the commotion. You really cant blame her. She didnt even really know us". He would have to pay closer attention to his surroundings. He didnt trust anything at the moment.

Ok... Moss probably didn't trust her, or he wouldn't want her to go in front... And one who didn't trust those around him was generally not to be trusted himself... But she had seen his worst memory... And if he tried anything, Grey would not hesitate. Not this time... "Fine. I shall go first..." Here, she began to slowly proceed through the barrier, and as she was on the other side, began to take in the peculiar energy patterns of this realm...
