Moss moaned and swatted at the invisible stick prodding his head. He opened his eyes and turned his attention toward Grey and the elf. They seemed to be having some sort of conflict. Memories began to form.
He wondered if the dragon was still about and what he should do. He concluded that he would be most useful if he lay there and didnt atract attention. That way, he could send a knife flying into the elfs back if Grey looked like she were in trouble.
Moss tried to regain his wits and strength.

The illusion vanished with a puff of greyish purple smoke, and reappeared nearby, grinning broadly. "But I do so love to talk... It's only healthy... And be not brash, Darkvault." it chuckled. "It will only lead to your own demise." Grey pulled out the knife she allways kept in her satchel. Not the best weapon out there, but it would do. She stole up behind him carefully, before standing up as tall as possible, and pressing the point of the blade to the back of the elf's neck, hoping he didn't have something else up his sleeve...

" he smirks when feeling the cold point of the dagger towards his neck, with a quick motion he grabbes the blade of the knife with his hand. Blood drips down his arm, and he starts to slowly mumble a spell but it seems like he is trying to give you time to do something "

"Blast! Not another blood spell..." Grey immediately jumps back as far as she can, cursing that she had allowed him to cast yet more blood magic, but had also just lost her knife. A good knife, which she attained while noving through civilisation for what had seemed the first time. She almost tripped over a conveniantly placed tree root, before regaining her balance with her walking stick. She pointed it directly at him, mutteringa spell under her breath. This time, the tendrils that shoot forth are searing white, and moving quickly.
((It is a spell of blindness- it creates the illusion of a searingly bright light, but your character might be resistant... It is not a particularily strong spell, and Grey is distraught, so she hasn't put her entire concentration into it. Also, she is slightly still in shock from witnessing Moss's memory. That kind of thing can take a lot out of someone...))

" He screams awhen the spell hits him, he seems to loose control over the spell and it misfires. what would been a attack spell just blasted into one of the trees and burn it away ( no fire, i just forgot the name.. think that he shoots away his blood and it kinda 'burns' away.. i hate when words disappear ) "
- My eyes! they are burning! BURNING!
" he screams in pain and waves his knifes blindly around him to hopefully hit something "
( I belive that elfs got very tender ears and eyes, so loud sounds and ligths can be terrible hurtfull. just wanted to explain ^^)

((Indeed. Sensitive senses in general...)) Well, the elf was incapacitated... At least for now. Better get Moss up. "Moss! Wake up," she called, completely ignoring the destruction caused by the blood spell. "Get up! Are you all right? I didn't mean to cast the spell that hard..." She wondered what the dragon girl was up to, and wondered if Moss would want vengeance. After all, it was pretty stupid of her to cast that one at him... And then if Moss would still want to slay the dragon-girl. And where the strange little fairy girl had dissapeared to.

Moss had been amazed at the speed and ferocity of the battle, and relieved that he hadnt had to step in. With all of the strength in his body, he lifted himself to a crouching position. He closed his eyes and felt for the presence of his staff. He motioned toward the tree with his hand and the staff fell out of the branches. The staff dragged itself across the ground and Moss cought it. Putting his weight on the staff he lifted himself up and looked at Grey.
He still felt pretty groggy and he didnt quite grasp what was happening so he waited to hear what Grey would do next.

"Moss," she repeated, "Are you allright? You passed out. I'm really sorry..." she sat down hard, yet ignoring the dark elf's shrieks. "I didn't want the spell to act that harshly... I'm sorry." Well, if he's scared for life, you'll have another one to add to things you shouldn't have done.

When the bizarre green cloud had first appeared on the horizon, Verve hadn't been worried. It wasn't her problem, after all, and she wasn't one to get involved with obviously magical phenomena she didn't fully understand. At least, that had been her attitude until she realized that the glowing green shield it had created had placed itself directly on the path she had planned to take. How annoying.
She sat thinking for a while, probing the orb with her antennae, before experimentally pressing a paw against the surface, watching it move slowly through. It felt like moving through.... really thick jello. Or something. Careful, move slowly...
Suddenly she realized that a fight had broken out farther along the orb, just outside her line of vision. There must have been shouting other sounds before, but she had been concentrating too hard to notice them. Unfortunately, this meant that the brilliant flash of light took her completely by surprise. On instict, she jerked back her right arm - already submerged up to her shoulder in the orb.
Something ripped. The cloth golem was left staring up at the stump of her arm, stuffing swelling out. Her shoulder twitched irritabley and the appendage stuck in the green... stuff wriggled a bit in response. "Oh, snap."

"Um... I think im allright, all things considering..." Moss mumbled "dont really remember much... kind of worn out..." He full well knew that he was in a stupid and vulnerable state, so he tried not to say too much. Besides, everything he did and said seemed to take an unrealistic amount of energy.

" the elf crouched for a while, caming down, he looked up and it seemed like he had gained his vision again. He looked up seemingly that most of his energy had disappeard, he raised his dagger once more and cut a deep wound into his arm. the blood made a cirkle around him and some what made a spiral up in the air it glowed black and deep red, he dropped the knife and fell on the ground. "
- Orryn! Run!
" The half dragon screamed and started to run away "

Verve could hear the sounds of the fight now. She'd have to move quickly if she wanted to avoid being noticed. She shifted her popgun off her back and let it hang by her side. It was too big to shoot with only one arm, but she could use it as a club if she got desperate.
Slowly, she reached in with her left hand and got a hold on her arm. Careful now she thought to herself as she pulled slowly backwards. Move as quickly as I can. I'm defenseless like this, can't get caught...

Grey glared at the rapidly bleeding elf, emanating faint distain. "If you continue cutting yourself up like that, you'll be in no state to defend youself. Why bother slicing yet another wound open when you have several perfectly bleeding gashes allready?" she turned quickly around to the cloth-creature, and, as being in a poor mood at this point, growled uncharacteristically, in a low, yet clear voice, "Come out, and cease sneaking about... It does not behit you."

It took a lot to keep her from jolting again. Instead, Verve sucked in her breath and froze. Had those words... been directed at her? They almost seemed that way. Don't be silly she chided herself. They couldn't see her... could they? She craned her neck, still pulling at the detatched arm that was almost halfway out of the shield by now. She couldn't see anything. Whoever it was, they were probably talking to someone else.
Just to be safe, Verve let her gun fall into the grasp of her monkey-like foot, balancing precariously, but armed well enough to give her a chance if someone decided to attack her...

Damn, how elitely powerful was this dead girl? It occured to him that if she wanted to hold him prisoner, she could. So she probably was a genuine ally. Why the respect? what asset could he have that she didnt? She was powerful and more then a bit clever.
He heard the scream of the disgusting beast.
Dont look back. Yes YES look back. Slay it at all costs. Mustnt lose control. Most important thing. Self control. Kill the dragon at all costs.
His eyes gleamed red. He gritted his teeth and shuddered. Restraining himself. Trying to pretend it wasnt a dragon but knowing deep down that it was. Strength pulsating through his body and an urge to kill.
"If... I... I might... do something... you might need to restrain me" He stammered, at the same time thinking that he had just commited a deadly sin. Assisting someone in the act of the life saving of a dragon.

Varian saw a bright flash behind her. She was glad she had decided to get far away from that group of crazy creatures...that light would have hurt if she was still on the other side of the barrier. Passing through the green wall had been easy, after all it was a Felidea talent to be able to go through "doors" of any kind.
She sat back and slowly looked around the new forest she found herself in, tasting the scents on the air. This place had a very different feel than the ordinary woods outside the barrier. And she smelled fairies.

Moss felt the urge to kill fade. Taking several deep breaths he felt a little stronger. His eyes returned to their normal glowing white. Energy still seemed to pulse through his body, but that too was fading, leaving him feeling a little better then before. He closed his eyes and visably shuddered. He opened his eyes again and tried to think rationally. His mind clearing. His knees still weak. Trying to remember what was going on.
Okay, he had decided to drink himself stupid because he was over stressed. From the killings and from an invitation to the demon king Samrick's party. He ran into Suka, half sister of the girl Kcattah, whom he had inadvertantly cursed to death.
Wait... before that happened, he had learned from a man in a bar about a strange orb and a strange man. When Moss questioned him, the barkeep had thrown Moss out.
No, the barkeep had thrown the man out. He couldnt remember. Anyway, that was when Suka had shown up and surprisingly asked to join Moss on an adventure. He had brought the orb thing up, because he didnt know what else to do.
He had met Grey shortly after, she had joined them on their quest. Letti soon after, had appeared and brought them to the orb. Then that strange girl came, then the elf, then the dragon. No, the girl was the dragon. How could that be?
Then, everything went blurry... then something awful... then now.
Things were going on, but he trusted Grey knew what she was doing. She had shown surprising skill and intelligence. Of course she might have bad intentions for him, but their wasnt much he could do now if she did.
Keep your mind clear Moss and prepare for the worst. Dont think of your weakness, or your vulnerability or impossibilties he thought to himself.

She sighed, but maintained the growl in her voice. "Come out, newcomer. Think not that you are hidden." her pale, seemingly empty eyes flared for an instant, and she shifted. Whoever this creature was, she... Grey was almost certain of that... Obviously didn't want to be seen. Better to play safe, especially with the dragon-girl around... Moss seemed to have control, buut Grey certainly didn't want anything bad to happen. She was tempted to cast at the 'hidden' creature, and possibly psychologically damage her, but it seemed bad form even to think of doing such a thing without knowing it's intentions.
"Come out. I know your there..." And then she wondered what the dragon girl, Letti, and the elf were up to, and stood on her guard abruptly.

The arm popped out of the orb and waved at its owner weakly. Verve didn't really notice. She was too busy panicking. ohcrapohcrapohcrap someone DID see me! And they sounded mad. Most of her wanted to run away, but her sensible half told her to suck it up and go see whoever had noticed her. Less likely for there to be any... accidents that way. She stowed her gun back in its sling on her back.
She held the arm in place with her teeth as her left hand rummaged around in her bag for a moment. She quickly found a needle and threaded it easily, then began to sew her arm back on as she walked towards what had been a battleground a short time ago. "Remember to sew arm on first, then sleeve" she muttered to herself before coming into sight of the strange party.
Then she just kinda stared, mouth open and arm dangling half-reattched by her side. My, this was an odd group of folks.

Suka chan had been waiting. A bit overwhelmed. It appeared that Moss had undergone some kind of ragey-thingie. And she didn't want to be at the brunt of that... But the worst seemed to be over. She ran over to her newfound leader, and helped him to his feet.
"Hey Moss, what was that? Umm... I'm sorry, I'm not as supernaturaltastic as Grey-san!"

Glee heeee! She was touching him! He had never felt the flesh of a female before. His arm felt numb and he was hugely aware of her closeness. Electricity seemed to flow through his body and he barely noticed the little cloth girl.
"Ah... thank you" he said awkwardly "um, what are you talking about?"
OOC: By nature, Moss should be a huge letcher according to his past life, but he has been completely without woman for as long as he can remember.... so... just keep that in mind.
And you'll just have to read about my failings when you get back. These clever people dragged it out of me.

Verve gulped as she noticed the black creature looking at her, shutting her mouth with a click and yanking on the thread hard enough to jerk her arm back in place. She tied it off and returned the supplies to her bag without looking. Her antennae stood straight up behind her, a sure sign that she was nervous.
So odd. That furry... rabbit-man, the fox demon. She realized that the girl with the staff must have been who noticed her... "I... I'm sorry, I did not mean to intrude..."

Grey raised a thin, arched eyebrow. That was strange... The newcomer seemed to be retatching somethin to herself... And even stranger was when Moss's arua trilled and made a sort of energy rush that could ony be described aply as... "Glee heee!!" ... Whatever that meant. She walked towards the strange girl with a break-apart aura. "No need for apology... You need only answer. Why have you come? Is there any reason apart from curiosity? Why did you attempt to hide?"

"Oh!" Verve looked a bit suprised. "I wasn't hiding. I'd been going this way when the barrier sprung up and I was just trying to get through, but, ah...." She turned away, shuffling her feet and feeling quite embarassed. Having parts fall off always gave her a rude reminder that she wasn't like these organic beings. "Long story short, I got my arm stuck. I was just trying to get it out, I didn't realize you'd seen me. And I didn't want to get involved in a fight."
She looked around, wondering at what exactly this group was fighting with. There was blood on the ground, but no one here looked hurt enough to have been the source of that.

"Your arm got stuck?" she appears quizzical. "Is that the energy you reattached to yourself?" she shifted. The girl had used the word 'seen.' For some reason, the very essence of sight, unless it was Sight, had always somewhat bothered her.
