Yeah, and earthquakes. Apparently there was an earthquake at one '0 clock in the morning that I slept through.

Why would he angst? Sorry to break it too ya, Shippo, but in the view of a critic, he's simply the comical lech. There's not very much room in his character to be angsty.

I know.... But I can still dream!
Miroku has alot more to his personality than his lechery. He is... You just have to read it to see...

I don't know, I think Rehiro has Shessy's personality down pretty well.
I'd like to take this moment that I use the nick-name 'Shessy', not affectionatly, but to save time and typos.

Maybe its because I resent the little Seshy that lives inside of me.
Everytime I am aproached by a female, I get all flustered right? But instead of being charmingly befuddled, I go all Seshomaru-style and get all cold and disinterested sounding and rejectiony and slightly insulting. And its only afterwords that I can go why the f*** did I say that?.
Its a serious problem! I hate you Seshomaru!
On a side note, some teacher lady actually stopped me in the hall today to say "You look like a serious guy" what the hell kind of question is that?

hmmm I am going to go with the teacher likes to talk, and felt the need to say something. Also the teacher might have thought something was bothering you, and maybe felt you might want to talk. But that's only likely if it was a teacher you have or have had, or the school counselor. I have had people say that to me, and I have to quickly come up with something other than what I was thinking because something like " Oh I was just thinking about whether the cut I just noticed got any of that toxic spray called fixative into it. Cause it is a bit shiny around it, and my immune system is down as it is..." sounds REALLY bad, and makes them stare at you a minute, before sending you to the bathroom while they talk to your friends.
So anyway based on my experience, they either wanted to get you to talk about a problem or just wanted to be friendly and couldn't think of anything to say.

I've had teachers do that. though, a few of my teachers have just pat me on the head when I passed them in the hall...
Oh, and don't worry too much about going all cold and saying stupid things. Quick tip: If you ever say something that you think is REALLY stupid, go up to the girl and apologize for saying it. Even if she just goes "Uhh, ok?" She'll think about it later and think how nice and thoughtful of you that was.
Well, the nice girls will anyway. I'll stop giving away secrets of the female mind now.

Taimatsu, if all your friends are female and you spend like 16 hours a day on the internet, then shouldnt you already know the female mind inside and out?
Anyway, Silverwolf, I thank you for sharing this secret with me. I am much honored and in the hopes of ever having any more information shared, I shall not pry any further for the time being.
Take the floor Taimatsu.

Zolah: I think it has been said somewhere that an alp is fae in the author's commentary. Thus the fae weaknesses. But I have been wrong before and will be again. Hopefully I am not this time. Anyway, feel free to ask questions Rehiro and taimatsu. I am fairly certain you won't use the knowledge for evil. Besides, we really don't have many secrets. Men just never seem to realize they can ask questions. Believe me talking is the key. Girls are hardwired for communication, we respond suprisingly well to it. ;D Ask anything, no biting of heads will follow, I haven't figured out how to do that over the internet yet.

Supposing one is too shy to talk to gals... What then?

|
|
Post by lysinias on Oct 28, 2005 19:43:39 GMT -5
hmm hard to say... If it is a girl you like, then I would go with the begging your friend to hint at her to talk to you. Amazingingly alot girls are very flattered by the thought of an interested someone, and think shyness is cute and sweet. Or you could say to yourself " what can saying hi hurt?" over and over, while your stomach churns until you get the hi out. And she is very likely to say hi back. Then you'll feel all better!

Actually, it's more like gals in general, not anyone specific. I haven't seen a gal my age in almost five months. Of course, the problem was there then too... It's a constant. .-.

Oh, well it is the same prinicipal as the second suggestion. Bite your lip, suck in your gut, and work up the courage. People are generally nice.
Or you could also take my more insane approach, this is for people you don't care what they think. Mostly strange people you don't expect to see again. Walk up and start talking as though you've known them a long time, and don't even bother with a name. Just start blathering on. People are often startled into staying and listening to you, too terrified of insutling someone they might know. It's fun.
