Menu likes metal, huh? What kind? Any bands in particular? (Europe makes such better metal than America, seriously...) He probably just likes metallica and things like that. He probably dosn't even know the difference between power metal and black metal. What kind of metal do you like (if any)? I've been getting into Dimmu Borgir a bit recently.

Gasp! Full Metal Alchemist! I saw a few of Full Metal Panic Fumo-something, too...
I like metal, mostly. I don't really pay attention to groupings of music though, so I can't really say what kind of metal.

Well, actually no...Menu isn't a Metallica fan ever since Cliff died. That just left a big door open that led to St. Anger....my goodness that was a train wreck of a song. But he does like Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Fear Factory, Ministry, In Flames,Tool, Danzig and Pantera. Same here, plus Dream Theater and Type O Negative, Lacuna Coil (who Evanesence totally rip off, though I wouldn't touch the latter with a stick and people think I'm odd cuz I'm the only one) and White Zombie. I must also agree, that Europe does produce better bands, they aren't intent on sounding the same! How many bloody bands hafta sound like Nickelback/Creed? I seem to be alone in hating Nickelback too....not that I look down on anyone who likes them ^_^ And hey don't feel old, Led Zepplin was the CD that got stolen from me! I thought of them too ^_^

a uestion about menu: does he have a weakness to silver?

indeed he does, but only if it gets lodged into his skin or if he swallows it by accident. It doesn't react the same way as it does to vampires though.

I really like Zeno's name. Oh, and it's nice to see more about Zeno's past and Menu's past.
Personally, I really only like two Nickelback songs, and I think Evanescence is okay. Any CAKE fans? How about SR-71?

I think I liked the first Nb song I heard, and just everything after that was railed into my mind daily by every radio station, so it is more that I just got so sick of them. As for Evanesance, I just don't care for the fact that they got popular off the same formula that Lacuna has been using for almost 10 years (from what my friend, a bigger fan of them, told me) so thta is me being bitter. I also just don't like how she tries to drown out the band with her voice, because I like a balance of things. Cake? they amuse me, so yes I like em ^_^ I haven't heard a SR-71 song in a long time now though, I've been stuck in an 80's music timewarp lately! (as in, I sit here and listen to sattelitte radio while I work, for lack of commercials)

But the 80's are a great place to be stuck! I wish I still had my old records but I sold 'em all when I was broke. With Bob Geldof on the news lately it reminds me that the first concert I saw was the Boomtown Rats (Geldof's old band) at a college auditorium in Toronto in (I think) 1980.

aww, bummer about those records! heh, I like "up all night" but I've been getting a little tired of "I don't like Mondays"all the time (hey I have a movie with Mr. Geldof in it too, The Wall from Pink Floyd!) didn't he adopt Micheal Hutchin's daughter or something? (or at least win custody of her when he and his girlfriend were into drugs, before he hung himself)) I'm a little dissapointed, speaking of, that they are trying to find a new singer for INXS since they are one of my favorite bands, and some of the contestants are female! Nothing personal against the ladies, but no, not cutting it replacing a male lead singer. i hope a dude wins, and not a tool of a dude either. I'm afraid to watch even...

I agree with you Amy about not replacing a male singer with a female one, it just isn't right! And I'm glad to hear anyone knows a song by the Rats besides "I Don't Like Mondays"! Just hearing the name "Up All Night" gave me a huge nostalgic flashback. "Sir Bob" adopted the daughter of his former wife and Michael Hutchence (from INXS). Check this for details: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/uk/2000/newsmakers/2949678.stmThe first time I saw the Rats, they were great in concert, incredibly energetic (comperable to Iggy Pop), but the second time I saw them, after "I Don't Like Mondays" came out, they played at a much bigger venue which they could not sell out. Bob Geldof sounded so pissed off about it he ruined the show. I never really followed them after that. Just curious, does anyone still listen to the Ramones? ( I know they are mostly all dead) They were my absolute favorote band.

Wow... I like some 80s music, I think. I know they're older bands that don't make any more CDs. Mostly stuff on the old rock station I listen to, but not most of it. I LOVE Pink Floyd. The Wall is my favorite album.

Ah yes the Ramones! in fact I am borrowong "Adios Amigos" from a friend and I previously had the greatest hits in my cd player for a while ^_^ I even broke out my old record player so I could hear "Rock & Roll Radio" (and also Gary Numan's " Cars" which was on the same album, an 80's comp)
Speaking of 80's punk, how about The Clash? I enjoy them and the subsequent spinoff band "Big Audio Dynamite" (first time I heard them I thought "Are they sampling that "woo!" from "should I stay or should I go?" then the DJ explained it)
Haha, I was tired when I typed that other part out...Hutchence is how it's spelled of course silly me ^_^ Thanks for reminding me! *he's spinning in his grave at this very moment*
and another favorite, not only in music but by his music videos, Peter Gabriel. I've heard even Ozzy Osbourne is a fan of him ^_^

About the bios, you haven't updated it at all. You know, I wouldn't mind doing it if you give me links to the images and what you want to say. And then I'd post it. Maybe that would go quicker and easier for you...?

This has nothing to do with bios (sorry X) but I am glad that there are still fans of the music I loved! I was really into the Clash. I did like Peter Gabriel as well as the Cars, but not as much. The Ramones were my favorites group for years....I used to go see (the movie) Rock and Roll High School, and shout all the lines. It's funny to think of because it was a really terrible movie, and none of them could act. But it was an event, like going to see the Rocky Horror Picture show.
