I read through the new 'Rules' section, and one thing struck me. We do have a LOT of new members. Most of our current introduce yourself type threads are over 8 pages long, so I thought, what's one more? So, if you're new and want to say hi before jumping into a conversation, feel free.

It's no problem. I like making people feel welcome.
Ooo, if you find a way to put heck in a hand-basket, do you think you could bottle some for me? I'll trade you for...uh...life potion? Nah...you can't use that, you're not dead....hmmm*rumages*

"Jigoku" is the Bhuddist hell, I know... Coz it's part of my character Mercury's formal name.

It's actually a parody of "Sabaku kyuu".

I'm still new though my account is a few monthes old.. well, That's what happens when you don't bookmark and go into a long, painful Charby withdrawal. My favorite game Is Destroy All humans, My favorite character is Charby himself, and I have a passion for horror, mystery, and comedy... with some romantic comedy on the side. I'm a college student and before DD went boom, I read the archives three times. I also made a few Charby signatures to promote the site before Drunk Duck finally took that last gasp. I'm Scardy (Scare-dee), and folks in Kentucky do wear shoes.

Welcome Ya'll. There is no need to be shy here. We are all pretty friendly non-violent people....well kind of, though we do like a comic that can be violent...still...we are good people so no need to be shy.
And I would have lost this forum a million times over if I hadn't e-mailed the name to me. For someone new the name isn't the easiest to remember.
So welcome everyone

Daggertooth is right. Do not be shy or afraid to post here ^_^... We don't bite... ... Often.
Enjoy your stay...and avoid the werewolves and vampires... they tend to bite more often ^_~

Hello! I'm new, otherwise i wouldnt be posting here. Im female, and from the UK. I like to draw, mainly fantasy things but also characters from the megaman games. Oh, and i like to sprite! Im also a megaman fan! ... Dude, I think I'm lost...
Anyways, I love Charby and am so sad that it has been lost, i found my way here looking for it, as a matter of fact. It's such a shame such a great comic had been "lost" and cant wait for it to find a new home.

Hello! What sort of tentacled beast are you? Imagine something like the slimy green pet ghost from the ghostbusters, double the size, add horns, add about 100 tentacles, and there you have it: something that doesn't look like me at all Hey, don't worry, I won't molest anybody. I only use those tentacles in the name of Truth, Justice, Honor, and to turn off the light once I'm in bed. Man, I hate to have to get up to do that.

Anyone who uses something from Ghostbusters to describe something is cool in my book. Have an exalt.

Exalting (and its opposite, smiting) is a neat little forum feature here. Next to everyone's post, it lists several things, inlcuding name, avatar, and gender. Here you will find the exalt/smite option.
If you click one, it will either raise or lower that person's karma by one. Exalting raises it, giving them honour and saying (annonymously) "You're a cool guy or gal". Smiting lowers it by one, basically saying "I don't like you". You can only exalt or smite one person an hour.
