You think that's bad? I'm taking a child care class! It's hard enough to walk around eighth graders, imagine 3-4 year olds!

Of course, you can always use a pair of the sturdier ones as stilts to avoid stepping on some of the shorter little ones.

But be sure to find sturdy ones, you don't want to stand up just to fall over and be halfway covered in midget-goo.

Hey, I just have to say in the interests of honesty, that I am an American citizen. I am also a Canadian landed immigrant, and I've lived here (in Ontario) for 35 years.
Now back to the kid squishing.

Yeah, our conversation went from 'weird' to 'mildly disturbing' a while back, didn't it?

SWEET! I'm not the only one who does that! Whenever people tell me I'm weird, I bow and say, "Why, thank you!".Haha! Awesome. *Looks down at feet* Stop squirming, you!

I'm thinkin' we all have our little quirks. And we all know we're weird. I'm more to respond 'You bet' to such a comment, but that falls in the same category as 'thanks', don't it?

Pretty much, though you sound less enthusiastic.

What about if you grin, and say "Really?" , as though it were the greatest compliment you can recieve?

That one works too. And I don't really do enthusiastic on a... um... monthly basis. Maybe once a season.

That's a good idea too. I'll hafta use it.

I've done that before... What about if you kind of make your hair fall over your face slightly and just... Grin, untill they blink or move away or something, and then say very, very slowly, in a kind of high pitched, faraway, or even just sing-song voice something like... "You really mean it...?" and then like freak out and do a chibi dance of some sort, laughing your head off. It's funny how some react to that... Sometimes I just do the first bit, myself.

I've never done that. Though I have broken out into dance for no apparent reason. It's lotsa fun!

I've broken out in completely random song and dance while waiting at the bus stop, and some guy stopped his car and shouted out the window to get a life... So I bowed and said rather loudly... "Thank you, thank you! Aah... My adoring public... I'm here 'till the weekend!!"

That's great! of course, I probably would've joined you.
I was working this show thing with my parents, and I was bored so I just randomly started dancing the Macrena.
