I'm Ashley! What else do you need to know...hmmm...well, I've been reading CTV for a while now...and I'm only mildly addicted.

Ooohkay...since Ashley went first, I'll intoduce myself. I guess it was my idea, after all. First of all, I'm way too old...I'm turning 40 in 2 weeks. The "T" in delta T stands for Tammy. Also, anyone who's taken adavanced math will know that "deltaT" means a change in time. (Like from 0 seconds to 5 seconds) So it was a pun name I came up to when I went back to college recently to take electronic enginering after having been a high school drop out for twenty years. See...change in Time, change in Tammy...pretty lame, but kinda accurate. Anyway, I'm not quite sure how I came across Charby, but when I did I forced both my teenage sons to read it. So we are all hooked now. I am not, however, allowed to reveal if they are members of Drunk Duck or here. (Would you want your mom posting on you're favorite sites?) So, I've posted a lot recently since I have nothing better to do, but next week I start a class for recent grads looking for work, and I will be busier...but I'll still check in when I can! Don't let my age intimidate you...I am really immature, I swear! Oh, yeah, and I am Canadian.

Oh! Well if your Canadian i guess it's ok.
I'm Jon I found charby when I was looking for something, come to think of it, I don't remember what; anyway I've been a big fan for a few months now.
I'm a bit of a geek. I love to argue, I really enjoy philosophy, I enjoy using the socratic method, although I'm not so fond of recieving it.
Big time anime and manga fan, favorite things are All things EVA, Satoshi Kon's movies, especially Perfect Blue, the 1988 release of The Vanishings (a french/dutch psychological-thriller), a fansubbed series called Monster and Excel Saga. I really Enjoyed Hellsing (the anime not the movie, although that was funny too). And in general have a huge knowledge of odd trivia information.
Charby tends to be one of the more fun things I enjoy.
I am a procrastinating perfectionist with ADHD. You can't Imagine how hard i laughed when the psychologist told me I was a perfectionist, given the standard quality of my work.

Well, I'm Shammeh and I have no idea how I found Charby. I think it was linked on one of the other webcomics I read, but now that I've found it I absolutly love it. Can't get enough of Charby and the gang(though I have to say I'm not too bright, as I didn't pick up the fact that it was called Charby the Vampirate until it was mentioned in one of the rants.
I am also Canadian.

I am Mike and I am not Canadian.
I've been a member at Drunk Duck for about nine months now and at first, I thought Charby was an overrated comic. Then I really started to read the new comics, and I realized there was a lot more to it than meets the eye. I feel bad about how I judged it before, but Amy is awesome and I know she doesn't hold it against me.
Right?
Anyway, I'm constantly trying to improve my artwork and CTV helps inspire me (when I can update...)

I'm Nick. I'm 21, and I go to college at GVSU (it's in West Michigan). I'm a video game nut, and currently I'm addicted to PSO, and Warcraft 3 is a good old standby.

hey, welcome everybody! Thanks for the introductions, it's nice hearing from ya like this!
Kissrocker: hi! I'm more than happy to feed the mild addiction ^_^
DeltaT: Very interesting how you came up with the name! And don't worry, my mother reads my comic every day too, so it's no problem at all with me! ;D
Devi: hehe the two things would seem to cancel eachother out, wouldn't they? I was told that I had ADD myself, I'm not really sure if I ever believed that though... I can indeed focus on something, just not what I'm supposed to be focused on, but rather what I want to focus on! I refused to take that medication! thanks for sharing your interests too ^_^
Shammeh: that's ok that you didn't notice the title at first, you probably wouldn't have checked it out then if you had noticed that ulitimate in cheesy puns! I'm certainly glad you like it, though!
Yarrum: Don't feel bad, of course there are no hard feelings at all! (and honestly my comic is and was overrated, I can admit that!^_^)I had first got that impression from your comic description when I first found it, but I liked your comic so much I had to portal it. I wasn't offended at all by it, I found that quite humourous in fact. Tis true, I had always feared that I have come off as a snob of some sort and that maybe this is why I have a few people that try to make me miserable as of late with the mean spirited comments... S'okay though, I'm getting used to it by now. But thanks for the compliment, and I'm certainly happy you don't think I'm an evil comic tyrant anymore ;D
Stonestrike: hi there! I wish I still had time for video games...I like survival horror and a few shooters like Halo and such...and fighters too. Of course I'm also a big fan of the old-school and 32 bit games...Super Metroid being amoung my favorites. Ah, I miss those days... And thanks for reading, I'll be sure to keep drawing!
Corsairmarks: Hey! Cool, more video gamer addiction! If I even wanted to play games anymore I'd have to fight of my dad for the system, he's usually playing something while I'm working on my comic, he gets to hear me complain at the computer....*still misses gametime!*
Rehiro: I don't mind if you want to remain hidden, that's fine with me! Sounds like a pretty fun hobby there, the forest is a nice place to wander about. I wish there were more trees for me to wander through here, but sadly the nearest woods are not within walking distance from my house...but nature can be quite inspiring to me. hehe and quite mysterious it is that you choose to remain in anonymity, but I can respect your wishes there!

I'm Otyo, and my real name I'll leave to you to find out, as I much rather would type this sentence than my nine letter name. I've been reading CTV for a fairly long time, and I have no idea whatsoever how I found it. I think. And... uh... Yeah. You find pretty much everything else at my deviantART page. Which there is a button to... Under my avatar.. And in my profile.

*unstealths* =>.>= Hi. I'm socially inept. So I'll go back to lurking now. [edit]: Hmm, that seemed pointless. I live in the UK, in the same place that the pirate Blackbeard was born. =^.^= Oo and the name. My cousin used to call me Üfy. I acquired the second part later. Look, a bouncy thing.

Oh wow, maybe I should have posted here first? My life is crap, so all I can really say is I like computer and video games also and my new hobby is reading webcomics. I live in the US. Oh yeah, just call me X. I'm too lazy to get an account. Or maybe I have one. I have no clue. Heh. I found Charby when I was looking for something cool on DD, and what attracted me was the description. I love cheesy puns for some reason so that just made me wanna see what it was really about... Yeah I only finished reading it all yesterday. And since I like it so much I'm going to be here a lot probably, perhaps helping so I can validate my existance until I get out of school. ;D

Yeah I'm a student. OMG look I registered! Woo (^_^) Yeah I'm no good at puns, actually. I'm not that great with words... Though I wish to be a writer, among many things.
So far my life is only school, so you'd think I'd actually say that first right? Bleh.

My fav pun that I can remember at this moment is when the Rose sister people show up and the one girl has that roscea (sp) disease. Then Charby slaps his forehead like "ugh". That's hilarious (^_^)

People really do tend to underestimate the pun. I think that because it initally sounds like the speaker made a mistake, the pun is classified as a mistake and thereby "bad humor". But in all reality the pun is quite witty and requires a quick mind. I'm not great at them myself, but I try given an oppertunity.

I like puns now but when I was a little kid, my parents and my older sister used to sit around the dinner table and tell puns that I wouldn't get....but my grandfather made ones I could understand like, "let us eat lettuce" when we were having salad. If it weren't for him, I'd probably still hate them!

Yeah if you use them right they can be entertaining and it does take intelligence to connect words like that. I do hate it when others don't get it, though. Idiots. Especially one I tell and then I have to explain it. Poo Puns that give them a bad name is when you say something like in those knock-knock jokes. Those are lame.

If you mean the smilie thingy I used, well that's not on the board, it's an inserted image. Hmm, I could post a proboard FAQ I have lurking around. Though it's probably not necesary.
Bah, Well, I'll be revising that at some point, as some of the tags aren't working right and it all looks a mess.

Yay for anime! Well, some anime. Others are just...scary. >shivers< I have Firefox and there's this thing where you can insert smilies, but I usually can't find occassion to use them. I like this cute one tho:
