This is rare for me, but lying down usually helps with any ill feelings.

Usually whenever I have a flip-floppin' tummy, it's because I've let myself become dehydrated... So the Ginger Ale would help if that's the case. If you know it's because of food, then the Ale of Gingers will still probably be a good bet. And like Taimatsu said, lying down is good for just about any bad feeling-ness. But even if you don't lie down, then at least don't do anything too active, like running, jumping, etc. Oh, and maybe put on some nice relaxing music? Might help keep your mind off of it...

Normally I'll drink ginger ale too, but if it's really bad, you might wanna try Emetrol or similar medicines. They're just a condensed type of syrup (I forget which, think it's a soda related one...), but it works wonders. Stops all nausea and ah, other unpleasant and related things right away.

Hm, another thing. If you ever happen to be in MORTAL AGONY (for instance, if you get warts frozen, or cut yourself bad and have it all bandaged up, but it still hurts) get yourself a snack, and put on LOTR. You will be cured. It's like, watching a movie fixes it. Psychology is weird, you can be in so much pain, but then you take your mind off of it and you can't feel it until your movie is done!
Anyway, just another random home remedy!
