There are some areas that you could use improvement in but they really are not bad. Your just seeing all of your faults amplified because thats how people look at there own art.

oo I like that last picture, they have fun names they do.I also like Link's glowy blue eyes, thar purty. The eyes are your characters is definitely one of your better abilities (there are others but this stands out more right now because I like eyes!) and you make good use of it.

She just basically goes through alot of Ninja training and missions (she's a chara in a Naruo\to fanfic i wrote) And she gets her tail chopped off... and other stuff....

As someone who is a huge freak about drawing, I'm really impressed. You have some very important things, like shading, light reflecting off hair, and basic clothing, figured out. I think what you have to work on now is anatomy. I notice that your character's feet are usually facing to one side regardless of how the character's body is turned. I know feet (and foreshortening in general) are hard, but I suggest attempting to draw feet facing the same direction as your characters. They'll look rather awkward at first, but in the end, they'll make the character look smoother and more realistic. You have some trouble with proportions as well, so I suggest the following manga tutorial sites: www.cablenet.ne.jp/~japanime/tutorial/fbodymain.html --Wonderful place to become an expert at the female body. (Drawing it, drawing it.) Features full-body, arms, legs, chest, and the torso. There is minor nudity, but it's only out of necessity. www.geocities.com/michaelp3000/foot.html --Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. ^^ Eh...well, a guide for drawing feet, obviously. Not quite as helpful as the female-body site, but it can teach you a thing or two about drawing shoes or feet facing towards you. ...and I'm afraid that's it. No help on males, I'm afraid. It's horribly hard to find anything about them, unless you go out and actively buy the manga tutorial book, How to Draw Manga: Male Characters. (I'm afraid I'm quite useless there; I avoid drawing male characters if I can, or make them look really girly or give them really loose clothing if I really have to draw them. ^^  |
