So hi Amelius it's me (I'm actually SHAME from DD comics) So this is teh forum eh? okay i'll give it a shot ;D Anyways, I would really like a character in CTV with a bit of Eastern European, Old Slavic or Trans-Siberian mythology/folklore behind him/her. for example the old Slavic mythology of werewolves, Baba Yaga (swamp witches) or even Koschei The Immortal(a great warrior given immortaltity by the Baba Yaga) I am such a nerd

Nerds are ok, but Geeks are better! I'm a Geek... And on that subject; where did you here of Baba Yaga as being witches plural? My references say she's only thought of as a singular being.
*reading my mythological/legendary/famous monster encyclopedia*

Lunch? Oh, I just ate... Can't visit these forums on an empty stomach. I prefer my computer anyway.
Geeks are cool. Nerds are socially inept. You're probably a geek.

On the matter at hand, I'll agree that some slavic mythology would be interesting to see. Slavic fairies, in particular, have a wide rang of possible application.

I've actually heard of all of those before... Here's some others just to throw in:
Saki, Nagual, duende, slyph, vârcolac, Pricolici, Naiad, klabautermann. (This last one, Jety should definitely know)

Oh, and just because... My personal favorite mythological creature of all time: The draugr. It is awesome. Read the Wikipedia article. I edited it myself, after a good amount of research. There were surprisingly few references before.
