Hello all,
I'm working on a CTV card game and I was wondering if you could help me make a list of every power, spell, or amazing fighitng move we've seen in CTV. I think I've got most of them but you never know I might have missed a few.
Anyway please help.
EDIT: Since this is been going this way already I'm formally changing this subject to suggest a Charby card. If you come up with a good one I'll put it in the game.
Just and FYI right now we have 20 characters planed for Characters Cards in game. We might do expansions later but for now we're making card around these characters any other characters like say Bendo would only appear as lackies or other support cards.
1. Charby 2. Vic 3. Rodericke 4. Adria 5. The Rose Sisters 6. Darry 7. Zerlocke 8. Q 9. Menu 10. Hex 11. Mye 12. Kavonn 13. Samrick 14. Azalea 15. Begonia 16. Tony 17. Faye* 18. LaBell 19. K'ale* 20. Sadick*
*Subject to possible change

HAMMERTIME!!!!!! That one time in the Vampire caves when Charby was lifting his hand in the air and all of them went with it! Zeno's head explodingness! Healing kiss, socker punch, vulcan nerve pinch... Can't think of any other at the moment, though.
Oh yeah! Teleportation, vampires' mad beast form, floatingness, magic potions, The Sneeze of Many Bloody Noses. I'll probably be back for more.

Magic hair. Incontent Portals. Shape-shifting. "Dowsing your parents' house with gasoline and setting it ablaze" power. Asexual reproduction (Claire and Lemrya). Special "chosen" transformations. Healing Kisses. Sneezing/hiccuping transformations. Attraction spells. Goth boot to the crotch. Out on the town walk (when Mye and the other meet Victor when they were walking so funny). Dream invasion. Hypnosis. "Change into Bunny Demon" spell/potion. Construct a remote monster. Black magic used to save someone. Super eye beam. Special demons that come out of the eye to help curve eye beam. Regeneration. Regeneration Impairment. Transdemensional Portals. Demonic beacon. Demonic possession. Theft of stupidity (LaBelle and Kavonn). Super boobs. Death by falling on a rock. Monkey-weasel bodyguard. Opposite Sex Curse (What Menu thought he had). Iron Nail to the Hand. Magic-talking poop. Chucking wallet at Ninja. Pocket dimension. Overt inconspicuousness (what Zerlocke was when he met with Vic and gave him that invitation). "So much obsession it's beyond all humanly terms to describe it's wrongfulness" love.
I might have more later on.

So whats the details behind the card game? The rules, the various winning strategies, that sort of thing. Is it at all similar to any of the other existing cardgames? MTG, L5R, Dune, Startrek, Starwars, pokemon, or Yugio?
I do enjoy CCG's and am most familiar with MTG.

It isn't very much like Magic or Yugio at all.
The game focus around first constructing a character based on 1 Personality cards and then 5 supporting Character Construct Cards, secondly you have a small sideboard of 'Unleashed' Cards, and a 60 card deck.
Character construction is really the hear of the game that sets it appart from others as you essentially start they game where you usually are in turn 5 of most other games. Imagein in magic if you started with 3 creature and two enchantments in play. As you can imagine it would change a lot of the strategy.
The goal of the game is, naturally to defeat your opponent. Damage is taken in the form of discarding cards from your deck.
There are a few major card types for deck cards.
Attacks Defenses Rallies Spells
Attacks\Defenses are fairly liniar. They have a powers and damage or damage prevention. When an attack and defense card clashes one one can win. So if a defense card prevent all damage from an attack it also nulifies that cards powers, but like wise any powers the defense card has do not trigger unless it stops all the damage from an attack.
Rallies are played at the start of a turn and can have any number of effects, however these are short term and only last till the end of the round.
Spells are easily the most versitle but are costly. You cannot cast spells unless you've got a card that enpowers you as a spell caster EX: Kavonn's staff, Hex's Amulet, Tony's Hat etc. etc. So if anything happens to that you can't cast spells. Worse some spells have high costs in the form of negative side effects on the cast. What make spells worth all this trouble is that they can be played at anytime and unlike attack/defense cards their powers trigger as soon as the card gets into play without needing to deal or prevent damage.
Unleashed cards are special and can be just about anything. Unleashed cards cover things like transformations, huge attacks, and perminent modifies (as opposed to the temporary ones from Rallies). So for example if you are playing Charby and you want to turn into evil charby you'll need to put him in your unleashed deck along with some of his nastier powers and attacks. Unleashed cards can't be directly played but instead must be triggered by other cards from your deck or have certain conditions met. IE: The Word of Ozwelgo card might let you change into evil charby but you'll have to draw it first before you can do so.
We our goal is to have 20 standard card powers (Like magic has First Strike or Flying as standard card powers) for the first set of cards and we are getting petty close. currenly we have about 300 cards designed (though not yet assembled with art) and our goal is a set of 500.
I'll post up some example cards later and explain some of the card powers.

How about Zeno being unapetizing. Spilling seads to force vampires to count. Labelle Stealing non-lacky CC's. Phineas squirting water. Potions that turn people to bugs. Daray's arson. Foomy's firey farts. <---potty humor and alliteration, go me.
I probably mentioned stuff already mentioned. I'm trying to think of something vauge.

Anti-Stalker Technique (Transform into 9-year old form) Girl-Pants of Doom Scent Recognition Apendage Confusion (when LaBelle used the Staff on Kavonn's hair and his buddy's wing-claw things) Literal Disarm (when Daray stabbed Azelea's brother's arms) Abandon Pack Super Samrick Party (you can wait until the Party actually happens to get some ideas on details) Two-headed Roar (Benito calling out Charby) Pick-up lines of Horror Crossover Chaos Magic Shop Demon Market Disappointing Death or Death by Rock Special Place Unfun Logic (when Kavonn went too indepth with Phineas's revival-spell thing) Flashback Mode Decomposed Head with Perfect Hair Death of a Loved One Being a Super Jerk (what Hex did to Fay) Mean Kids Accidental Genocide (when Charby told the Vampires that allergies to Sunlight was just a myth {which it should be!}) Stupid Use of a Near-Omnipotent Wish (Mosquitos? The King of Demons gives you one wish for ANYTHING at all, and he picks Mosquitos? What the hell? Where's the logic there?) Unhappy Chaos.
There's more that I thought up. Also, does UiU fall into this Card-Game as well?

Ooooh most helpful. Amy said I could use UiU of VM but I prefer to leave them out. I threw Nando and Roxana in as Zombie Lackies to Rodericke since he doesn't have any servants with names but other then that I was planning on leaving UiU out of it.

If UiU is okay, then I have at least one.
False Zombie Cliche (when Nando yelled at his body to pick up his head, but it couldn't because it didn't have ears)

Um.... how about a card that makes the target discard their hand and draw that many cards from their deck? Idea a-la "Dragons Basement" ~~~~~~~~~~ Burned Target player discards their hand and draws that many cards from their deck. "I can't? Well, my D-20 says otherwise." ~ Crispo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Way I see it, it's kind of versatile. Use it on yourself if your cards aren't doing anything for you, or on someone else if you are so inclined.

I am pretty sure we have a similar card to this already but we can certainly call it 'burned'.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Maybe... Do you have a Mannick: Hatsteal? Maybe he could steal another card's ability or something...

I'll have to think of more later.
Dream Stealer CC At the beginning of your turn you may skip your draw step. If you do, look at the top seven cards of your opponents library and put one of those into your hand, put the rest back in any order. If Dream Stealer is attached to Mannick or Tony you may put an additional card into your hand.
A character construct to simulate Tony's dreaming ability and to a lesser extent mannicks hat memory mentality.
Might be a bit too strong to simply skip one draw to virtualy dispatch two cards and stack the next five cards. If so the aditional ability could be: If Dream Stealer is attached to Mannick or Tony you may put any number of those cards on the bottom of the library instead of the top.

Honestly Manik has been left out of our core set for a very simple reason, I've yet to come up with or hear a good way to work out his very unqiue power & additionally we really just don't know enough about his belly portal to make a card that wouldn't get quickly outdated as we learn more about Manik.
We have 20 characters 100 CC card & 100 Unleashed. Which means each character only gets 5 CC cards and 5 Unleashed cards dedicated to them. Honestly I think Manik would require something like 20 CC cards to do him justice. If we do an expansion I think that would be a better time to introduce Manik and his many potenial game problems to the game.
I don't think Dreams Stealer is without merit but it is going to need a little modification. I think as a rule putting cards into someone else's hand is bad policy. It causes all kind of problems which is why I don't know of any card games which allows it.
I think I would work it more like this.
Text- You may skip your draw phase to look at the opponents next 5 cards. Remove one from the game and put the rest back in any order. On a turn where you skiped your draw phase you may play cards removed from the game with Dream Stealer as if they were in your hand.
