Probably not, after a few hundred years, fabric tends to decay.

hehe thanksies ^_^ Oh, sorry I'm a little late answering the question! I actually didn't have a reference for that, so I worked mostly off memory...I've drawn bears and wolves before though, just not as well, so I had a basic idea of what to do. Surprizingly for me it kinda just came out all at once, usually I have a lot of erasing and redrawing to do when drawing something like that!

Okay, okay, page ten... HOOHAW!! It's almost like a piratical scene from Devil's Rejects... with more gore!!! (Everything goesonmy Rob Zombie scale of gore.. Devil's Rejectsis "Excuse mewhile I lose my lunch...") Excuseme while I lose lunch, dinner, and the lunch before that...
Maaaaaaan, Amelius, you've gotten good at the gore.
*update for page 11* I can't wait to hear what Charby has to say to Captain Robert.... Arrrrrrrrr.

On page eleven, I get such a chuckle out of the way I just see the knife quivering when Mr. Baldy gets it in the head. In my mind I get this classic 'DOING-oing-oing' type of wood-plank vibration. Makes me laugh every time I see that. (Does anyone understand what I'm saying?)

Curse you, Momo! Now every time I read that comic, the blade will go 'DOING-oing-oing'. *Mourns loss of drama*
Excellent work! You can draw gore with a pencil and an ink pen... And it still looks lovely.

Heh, Doing-oing-oing-oing! Man, the whole the With Captain RObert's "pleas" hasgot me... he sooooo needs to die now. On one hand, yeah sure, cool, he wanted an heir and apprentice, on another, come ON, like years of abuse can be excused just like that. And then the whole stabbing thing, I don't think Charby thought he would do it... Man, Cap'n Rob's in for a Biiiiiiiiiiig suprise!

Ah, Amelius, your keen sense of mixing humor and violence knows no bounds, and its combination is the most delectable of all dishes in the literary world.

Actually, the "That was my favorite shirt" is a classic as old as time. and still effective. I loved Captain R's face when he's all "HUH?" and the broken glass, completely awesome. The pupils in the "Shirt" panel are creepier than the whole Red eyes thing. Totally awesome to the last, Amelius. You;ve gotten really good. I can't even draw a decent motorcyle.

Does ANYONE think that in the last panel of that last comic, he looked like a druggie?

Um... about the "pirate days" ark. Shouldnt the original script out of Charby's perspective in the first comic have been in the past tense if it was being told as a story to Samrick? And if it was in black and white because it was a memory shouldnt the last bit have been in color?

Hmm.... Interesting ideas. I don't know if I would have liked Charby's narration for the arc... and having the last comic in colour would give a nice frame of reference for the rest of it. I just don't think Amelius wanted to do the comic that way, though. ...It would have been cool...

I agree that the last one should have been in color, but I really liked the way that the loose ends were tied up.

Yeah, I'm redoing that page. I had 2 endings in mind for that, the first time I wrote that all out though it WAS in past tense, but my computer froze on me T_T Like I said I mulled over the dialogue forever, but I don't like how that first page clashes with the rest so I'm fixing it, thanks for bringing this up. The last page, I didn't want to put it in color because it is still techinically a flashback episode. It's only a year after he slaughtered the pirates so it's not in present time, which is why the seed one is also B&W. That, and if I had colored that by hand, it would have looked gawdawful. I didn't want to risk bungleing it up after I spent 3 hours inking it.

Well, regardless, it's still nitpicking to ask you to do colour. Either way, it's a fantastic, beautiful page.
