I'm not bothered by people (except when I think they might be reading my mind), but I'm scared of something grabbing my ankle when I get into bed! I keep my bed flat on the floor now.

Im scared that when I touch a cat, they can read my mind or something like that and if you are thinking of there death, they will soon die And if you are touching something pure, like a stuffed animal and you think an unpure thought, then that object will become contaminated And I dont like places where there is a large open space behind you where someone could sneek up on you or walking in front of a person while going downstairs because they could easily push you down or basically turning my back on anyone. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr heh heh im scared............

For some reason, I always start worrying about people reading my mind while I'm on the bus. I guess it's just all those strangers...you don't know what they're capable of.....

Because if he truly is a demon, it might be best you dont draw attention to yourself

Just wanted to say that I think CTV has hit another high point. The last bunch of comics have been especially good I think.

I definitely don't like stuff like plates, cups, etc. sitting on glass coffee tables. I don't like the way it looks like everything is floating! When I was a little kid, we didn't have much money, so we used a glass-top patio table (given to us by my grandmother) as a dinner table. It was in the kitchen and everything, and I always had to throw down a cloth over it so it wasn't all glassy with stuff sitting on it. Also, I hate the way glass bottles--like, for beer or Coca-Cola or whatever--sound when you set them down on a glass surface. It's nails-on-a-blackboard for me. But none of this is OCD, really--just... what are they called?...pet peeves, I guess it is. And I actually read a book and the main character had OCD for real; the book was called Kissing Doorknobs. She'd kiss her fingers before turning the doorknob on her front door (only the front one, though), count cracks on the sidewalk (if she missed one or lost count, she had to go all the way back to where she began and start over--she was always late for everything), she talked to Trollz dolls, and when she was at Confessions (she was Catholic) she had to say absolutely everything that she had done "wrong"--even little stuff like, I dunno, spilling a glass of milk or something. Along with all kinds of other "rituals" that got her labeled as "crazy" amongst several people. She drove everyone up the wall, and her mother about exploded once or twice throughout the book. OCD is actually something wrong with the brain--a certain feeling of accomplishment cannot be felt, and so a person does stuff over and over again, or, compulsively, as the disorder itself suggests, to try and feel the sense of accomplishment, which they can't. A lot of people in my class say "I have OCD about this" and "I have OCD about that," but a lot of the time people just confuse actual OCD with little habits. There's a big difference, of course. This is all a little late, but just in case anyone was interested. I mean, the thread is only a couple years old.
