Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I'm very curious! What tools do you use to create comics? Do you ink with the traditional pens, or do you prefer to do it in photoshop? If so, do you do it with a mouse (masachist!) or do you use a tablet? I've seen some of the pages colored with markers- which do you prefer? Do you ever mix mediums, like pencils over markers (I do this one frequently)? Also, what size are your pages pre-scan? Just the usual 8.5X11 or do you use the larger "pro" size paper to get all the fine detail? Sorry for all of the technical questions! I guess I'm kinda fishing for pointers Hehe.. Also, just to say, I love all your projects and feel the need to mention that my wardrobe would be greatly enhanced by a 'Nando T-Shirt. Thank you for your time! *worship*

Hehe, I used to draw it with a mouse, but then Nick got me a tablet...which doesn't work right now, so I use his old small one. The last mouse drawn CTV comic was "Tunnel Vision". As for traditional media, which all CTV's lineart is done with pen on *.5X11 computer paper then scanned in (Night School is done, except for the first 3 pages, in Manga Studio and colored in Photoshop) the pens I use are: Microns, Zig Milleniums, and Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens. They have smooth free-flowing ink that is non-bleeding and fast drying, which is almost imperative for the work pace I am working at, which is pretty fast. If the ink doesn't dry fast, it smudges when I erase the underlying pencil art (I always pencil sketch first now, didn't start doing that until after the Orycalope Massacre storyline though) And yes I do mix mediums, especially if I don't have the right marker for the job! My markers are mostly Prismacolors, and I have a few other brands and oddly I have like 5 purple markers that are ALL the same purple! argh! So I had to mix some blues together, I didn't have the right blue for Fay's hair either. Plus the marker I was using for backgrounds has started drying up, so I used watercolor on one of the recent ones. (the panel where Fay is calling Azelea a traitor is one such example) I hope I didn't miss anything, I'm kinda in a rush right now but I feel bad having these questions sit here unanswered! *zooms off back to work*
