First of all, I would like to thank Darkfire Taimatsu, Violet, and Zolah who offered their sympathies with me in the "it's way too quiet" thread. That felt nicer than I originally suspected it would.
But the point of this thread is that I have a hypothetical question to ask. If you found out that your friend had a list of all the people he wanted to murder, and there were about 85 people on that list, what would you do?
The reason I ask is because one of the distressing pieces of information I have come across recently is that one of my friends does indeed have such a list, and I believe that im the only one privy to such information.

My advise = Police. Tell them. That way he might be stopped, and you aren't charged with being an accomplice to murder if he goes through with it. Get a copy of the list and go to the police with it.
That's my advise. --- Ryoko Dragonez

Haha, but I wasnt on the list... and because I know the prerequisites to get on that list, if he finds out that I was the one who told, my life might be in danger Greedily speaking, I would rather be in jail then dead. But your right. There has been some terrifying murders lately, and it appears that it got all the killers stirred up (im privy to waaay too much information) and it seems to me that, just like a person with suicide on his mind might be convinced to kill himself once he witnesses a person commit suicide, so to might it be that potential murderers are drawn out when murder is publicized. I guess ill rat him out. I already know who im going to.

Tell the police you think your life is in danger. They have protection plans for witnesses. With all of the murders lately... I'd rather none happened again. Go the the police. They'll know what to do and be able to keep you safe.

Yes, I agree with Ryo. That or if he is under 18 years you maybe should call the social services, I think they take care of under age things like that. hard to tell since its problebly bit diffrent here from us

Something as serious as a death list? Police. Youth should not be given special treatment when it comes to murder (or potential murder). Even if the state you are in has special laws for youth, the police will contact the right people (i.e. social services) for the job.
I really don't want to be reading about another tragedy so soon. Too many have died from this type of thing already...

Right. Police. Failing all else, the police can direct the information where it can be acted on.

It could just be a joke. Or, just a strange way to vent.
If only there was some way to know if it was real or not.....

Doesn't everyone have a hitlist? I know I do! Don't matter doe, I's never hurt a fly, much less a person. Okay, besides the pain I's cause to show mein endearment to mein friends! But thats different.
Uhmm... where was we? Right so yeah... Hitlists.... There's no harm in having one, what you have to look at is if this person could really go through with killing someone. Like gauging their reactions when they do things like run over a squirrel/bird, accidentally trip someone, inadvertently make someone bleed.
Take myself for example... playing video games, I'll scream anything along the lines of "Kill! Kill!" "Shatter!" "Blood for the blood Gods!" and any other horrifying lines of hillarity, and I'll cackle maniacally when things get mangled. But then an hour later I'll accidentally knock someone over cuz I was walking too fast and bumped into them. The color will drain from my face as if someone died, and I'll be the first person down on the ground to help them up, make sure they aren't hurt, and all that jazz
