I was just perusing the internet when I stumbled upon something quite interesting.
Zeno's Y shaped scar is in fact an autopsy scar by shape.
This would mean that Zeno was either killed or just died while he was in captivity and was summarilly given an organ shuffling to see how his body worked.
Nothing amazing just a little tidbit for timelines sake.

Possible. But given what he is, and his likely assumed different biology, it's possible they just performed a biopsy as an autopsy, to get a better understanding. Who knows?

a biopsy wouldn't produce that large of a scar though.

I... yes, I know. A standard biopsy certainly wouldn't. My point is that they might have used procedures from an autopsy, so as to get a more full understanding of his biology. Biopsies are as uninvasive as possible, an therefore leave smaller scars, but since to them, Zeno shouldn't even technically exist, why would they care about anything other than studying him?

It is possible that both could have happened. There is a relatively good chance he died while in the scientist's 'care'. We know for a fact that he died and that he woke up with a Y shaped scar on his chest.

i think that it is indeed an autopsy scar, we know he lost time, so there's a chance he was revived... by SCIENCE
