We have asked Amy for a scrapbook of 'lost pictures' before, and I was thinking, what would the best way be to present such? If it goes on paper, you could do an A3, preferably soft cover due to costs and postage costs ( not ideal I know). But the plus side would be you could put multiple small imagees on the same page, or rotate them if needed. You might even be able to do the odd tearout page of vampire tree, erm.. sorry that was a little over-eager of me The main reason for this post is the double whammy - this could be used for the old episodes of CTV too, and since it is being marketed as a 'scrapbook', you can get away with even your roughest scetches. ;D I would probably buy a paper copy, dependig on the cost, if there wasn't a downloadable copy. I'm not sure how Acrobat handles > A4, but if it can't it may be worth investigating other viewers. Although I'm not sure what they are. Gimme a scream if you want me to google for ideas. Comments on a brick please...

Well, one thing that may heavily influence the format and even possibility of the book is how much sketch material is available and what may be included. Some sketches are on DA, some were vote incentives, etc. I, personally, would want it all included, and Old CTV pages are a must, but if there's an excess of overall material, the price issue may be brought up again. Now, that isn't one of my worries, but it may be for others.

i like the idea, I'll have to see what I can do! Scanning in the old archives would be a task and a half though, unfortunately the image quality on scans is usually crap because I drew and colored many multi-page stories right on the backs of the same page. I would love to use all concept art and first appearances though I did lots of character "pose pages" back then. I'd include the story I started but had to stop when it looked like there was a possibility of CTV being printed (Nightschool did instead, and thank goodness, because then CTV would have been waiting until the rights return until I did anything with it again!) and that Vampire Tree image was part of a comic I was working on too, which I'm uncertain of what to do with now! (it's only half colored and I need to change the ending. Not because of continuity, but because it totally kills a joke told later in the archives. I'll just say it loses impact when you know Charby's reaction later down the line!) I may end up recycling some of that art into something though so HMMM! thinking is happening indeed!

Thinking is good. Indeed, it would be quite the undertaking to assemble it, but it's good to know you like the idea. But what's this vampire tree I hear of? It seems like something I should be at least somewhat familiar with? (Also, 1000th post!

Wow, glad to see it's an option, although, given the huge amount you have, you should probably release it in bite-size chunks or we will end up with a 1000+ page A3 Binder. If you make the editions small enough (20 pages or so), they may be roll-up-able for postage. @sushiboy, Vampire tree is a piccy Amy stuck on DA that I took a liking to (I'm a bit sad that way). I woulda linked it, but it seems Amy has redone her whole gallery! Will link if I find it again.

Ah. Well that would explain why it sounds like something I'd have known about. It doesn't appear to be there now, though.

Well, I took a second look, still didn't find it but the stuff I hadn't seen before took me ages.

Here's an idea to include, just for kicks: The thumbnails used for past pages (if applicable and available). They'd be small, so wouldn't likely use up a lot of space.

Oh, and Mage at Large, because I still have yet to read that.

Hehe, thanks for that. It really struck a chord with me the first time I saw it. Strange how the little bit of art that I can grasp has really helped me to deal with issues. (I'm the kind of person who hides his motives from himself.) It's not as potent as it used to be, but it still is awesome. That's the thing about CTV. It highlights one part of my messed up psyche, and then I re-read it after I've dealt with that, and it flags up something else. It's probably why I like heart-rendered work so much, it really connects. It's a bit like having someone open up to you.
