I have never followed any kind of creation- show, movie, story, comic, book- where the creator (actor, writer, producer, director, artist, etc.) has been so close to the fanbase. I'm not saying that Amelius is the closest creator to her fans, I'm just saying that this is the closest that I, personally, have been to a creator of something that I follow as a fan.
So, my question is as follows: how does Ms. Amelius' close presence affect your CTV comic and forum experience? Do you find yourself speculating less because the answers are right there? More because you know she has a habit of twists and a spurising mind? Does following this comic become less... formal, in a way, since the creator asks our opinions and talks to us? What are your thoughts?

Mrs. Amy is indeed close to her fans. I myself am, a fan of an other web comic, and the author isn't as close as Mrs. Amy is. I feel very comfortable on this forum, because, it's Mrs. Amy forum. Ia dmire her very much, and if I was to do something for her, It'll feel like helping a friend. It adds a lot to CTV because of Mrs. Amy sort of being. I love CTV for it's twists, unexpected events and of course the art! what's there not to love? XD

It doesn't really affect me too much. While I have had some brief conversations with her, it would be slightly different I suppose if she were say a friend in real life.

Amelia is a good person that i like to think of as a friend. There are many discussable discussion things that we have dealsings with but they are mainly business for Nightmares Wear Hats.

This level of openness and connection of an author with their audience is rarely achieved and is a greatly appreciated dimension added to the experience of CTV as a whole. Not that it would make anything less of CTV, in fact I'd gone through nearly the entire archives before communicating at all with Amy. And it took me quite some time to actually advance through the archives too. It's like the the rainbow sprinkles on the frosting on top of the cake. To overextend the metaphor, sprinkles are certainly delicious, but also add a different sort of aesthetic level to the cake, but they are also largely taken for granted and undervalued by those not concerned. And despite the sprinkles being a fun additive to liven it up, the cake itself would be no less delicious if it were made without them. My speculation wouldn't change either way. My mind is always abuzz with such things.
