Oh no!! Would you like a refund on those then at least? I feel terrible about that! If there's anything I can do to make it up to you let me know! Ahh, that is such bad news! We really gotta find a better store then, 'cuz that's pretty ridiculous T_T

It's a shame since they have the whole "Satisfaction Guaranteed" thing. They looked very reliable! But I guess looks can be deceiving. I sent you a PM btw Ms. Amelius.

Well, I'm about to buy something and hopefully all will go well with mein purchase. I purchased the Tony t-shirt and the Vampirate Hoodie. Also as a side note, every time I see the statement "You can't go outside naked" I always hear a hint of a challenge.

That's not fun at all! But... maybe you should contact Cafepress and ask them what happened with your delivery? Or at least why on earth it's in Kentucky.
I was considering buying some merchandise from the store, but unfortunately I'm still too young to be shopping online. Which is why I wasn't allowed to buy the Night School comic... OTL
Well, eventually my mum'll think I'm responsible enough.

I contacted them and got my money back eventually. They never even gave me a reason as to why it happened. They just simply gave me my money back. lol. I really wish I could trust them though. I like buying the CTV and UIU merchandise, it's my own little way of support. ^.^ But unfortunetly I don't trust them again to find out where my packages will end up next. So I went and customized my own, I just received them yesterday and I posted them up on the forum. But it's sad to hear that your mother won't let ya purchase stuff online. I practically get all my stuff online nowadays. But i do kinda understand where parents are coming from. My mother was the same way "How can you just give money to people you dont know?!". I fought back with the whole "times have changed since you were young" and more typical stuff like "Everyone does it now!" lol. She eventually caved in. Maybe you should take to your mom about it. ^.^ ya never know.

Mike's switched to Zazzle and likes it better than Cafe Press (I think). They have a lot more variety of shirts you can do, and you don't have to pay extra to have more than one design on a certain type of shirt. You can even pick which model is wearing the shirts XD Here's a link to Mike's store so you can see what it's like www.zazzle.com/supernormalstep

Golden rule is people. Allways ask people you know about a place first. There must be a lot of artists on the web who do a similar thing. Maybe it was a once-off, but if you do anything mercantile in future, have a look at other webcomics, drop their authors an email and ask how well their provider is working.
It's tempting to jump in head first, especially when you've done all the hard work organising things and are tired of waiting, but a little effort here, even if you're on your energy reserves, is often a big help.

I figure I may as well add this onto this topic rather than creating a new one, but just got a shirt I ordered the other day (Arrived quicker than I expected really). Opened it up and the quality on the printing is really bad. The design was this one www.cafepress.co.uk/evilempire_shop.294810358) The colours are far darker than they should have been, so Charby ended up blending in with the red background, making it look like he got a new 'do! Not to mention they have been spamming up my email with adverts for Cafepress ever since I ordered the shirt (Why send me ads? I'm clearly already aware they exist ) So, I go to wash the shirt hoping that the design would look better after the shirt has been washed (A long shot, I know) only to find the washing instructions for the shirt aren't the best, reading only "Wash in cold water inside out" and to iron it. However, the shirt itself has instructions to be washed in warm water, and to not iron it! You guys really need to find a better place to get these printed! I almost feel like the money would have been better spent just donating it through paypal, since at least then Cafepress wouldn't have taken an ill deserved cut of the money. Anyway [/rant] I guess. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Ah, that's very disappointing to hear! I'll try looking into other shops, at the time we set it up Cafepress was pretty much the only option for dark shirts (which is why we went with it over Zazzle at the time, who had far more expensive shirts too) but hearing that I think it's about time we set up shop elsewhere. If there's anything i can do to make it up to you in the meantime, let me know! (rar and spam ads now....that's just not right >_<) I'll talk to Nick tonight about the new store.
