Okay, how many of you have noticed this trend, or maybe even used it yourself? It's everywhere!
What I'm talking about is the word loose. Pronunciation: l U S. Like lace, but with a long U sound instead. What I've noticed is that people have been taking a perfectly innocent word and twisting it--twisting it to their own selfish purposes.
LOSE, on the other hand, is the correct term and is pronounced LUZ. It's a simple thing, right? Wrong.
You don't LOOSE weight; you LOSE it. One O. I've looked in a lot of dictionaries (Meaning, I looked it up online) and nowhere is there a definition of loose that means To Lose. Loose as a verb means to let go, to let up on pressure. LOSE, means to not have what you had before.
Seriously, people, are we all that stupid? It's that simple. Give the O's a rest.

Yeah yeah dude, don't blow up on it, it's ranked as one of the top ten most common grammar mistakes in the English language xD
But yeah, it's everywhere, but what can ya do? People make mistakes, it's only natural. It doesn't bug me much.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it were a case of a few isolated incidents, but then, there's another one! Gah... Sorry, I just had to get it out of my system.
