At school, I'm taking a Japanese class. And I LOVE IT! My sensei's name is Chie Ramujee-sensei. And she is the sweetest person on the face of the planet. I love her to death! She is sooo awesome. She does little dances, and speaks in japanese in conversation randomly. I loooove writing hiragana. I memorised all of it (I'd show youse, but my computer doesn't have that capability. Oh, wait, I'll make an image. Anyone know what it says? Guess ;) Anyway, I love the class to death. Everyone in there is super friendly, and It's sooo much fun :)

"I love Japanese class"? "I love my sensei"? If either of those are right, it is because I am fluent in the Japanese language.

Am I the only one here who doesn't speak/read Japanese? That's depressing. If they hadn't cut it from the education program the YEAR BEFORE I got to highschool... *sigh*

Ah, you were sort of right, Eclectic replicant. But Anta wa baka desu is a correct sentence. "Anta" is more friendly and low key than it's respectfully neutral "anata". I guess I could have used "Kimi" or "omae" or even "temee" to get my point across, but "Anta" is my favorite ^__^ Anyway, it says "Anta wa baka desu" in hiragana Congratulations!

I don't speak or read it, Seth... Though I wish I could... But this is off topic... What does it mean, Shippo?

No, Seth, I cant read it. I was only pretending. I had no idea what I was agreeing with and I have no idea if either of my guesses were correct.

It's in Hiragana, and it says
"Anta wa baka desu"
Anta is just like Anata, only more friendly, and ... cuter?
It means
"You are stupid," or "you are an idiot." ^^" Not that I think you guys are stupid, but I thought of it on the spot ^^
I'd also like to take this moment to say:
Atashi wa baka dewa nai.

Finagle: It is impossibly hard to try and go it alone. I would suggest getting a tutor. Attending just the one class at a university might be good, but that'd cost more, and a tutor allows you to keep your schedule and have one-on one learning time.
Anyway, does anyone have some Japanese that they'd like me to try and translate? Or you wanna know how to say something? I'd be happy to oblige. I can do names as well as words.

Hey, Fin, wasnt it your birthday recently? I remember seeing your birthday come up and wondering whether or not I should wish you a happy birthday because you seemed familiar. Then I looked up your profile and found that you hadnt posted, so I didnt. Anyway, happy belated birthday!

getting a tutor is a good idea to keep me straight, I got 2 guys at work trying to teach me chinese (different dialects at that), but the university cource wouldnt be that much for me, especialy if I can find a night cource and keep working.
and yes my birthday was yesterday (sunday) im now 23, althogh everyone I know including myself and my parents has had to double check more then once.
