Oy, it's been a bit stressful for me lately, I apologize if I seem to neglect things in this forum, I try to catch up as much as I can but with all this stuff going down aye aye aye.... Annnnnyways, I just wanted to hear a few opinions. Do you think it would be in the best interest of CTV to fill out a lot of the start? I mean, make the beginning more coherent (maybe with a few narrative pages about Charby's history and whatnot)? Most likely, these will be uncolored, I was curious if this seemed like a good/bad idea to you. I promise no one-page filler stuff with a poignant image of Charby looking depressed (oh even though I admit I like that kinda thing ^_^) but I thought I'd run this by you. And perhaps dividing chapters will organize things (if that's humanly possible with the way my stories go) Any way, I just want to do my best to make sure it comes back and comes back strong (cuz my old stuff is soo embarrassing anyway)

If you have the work allready done i dont see anything wrong with it ^^ but i must admit if you mean that you have to make new comics in the start to fill it up ( as you said) it could become a bit .. uh i cant remember the word... annoying feels like the wrong XP since old charby fans have waited a long time for the continue of the story ^^ hope you understood what i meant XP

Hmm... I'm not sure. Are all 500-some-odd pages going to be uploaded at once, or are you going to repost the archives one at a time? If it's the latter, I'd say go for it! I'd love to learn more about the characters' pasts ('specially Tony! YAY TONY!) and it'll be easier to navigate the comic with chapters (I once spent ages on the DD site trying to figure out which page had a link to the forums, because I'd neglected to bookmark it the first time...).
On the other hand, I'm all for finishing this story arc. Otherwise, I'll be going crazy trying to figure out what's wrong with Zeno, whether Master gets destroyed or possesses Kavonns staff, and whether we get to see Tony asleep again *coughcough*.

My own opinion would be to leave the archives as they are... Maybe do a side-arc depicting his past now if you want...
I really have to say, I -loved- the beginning strips of Charby. I laughed so incredibly hard at so many of them.
If you must replace them.. please post the beggining strips somewhere where they can still be read. Even though the art isn't QUITE up to your current standards, they are still awesome strips and I would be very sad not to be able to read them again.

Well, I believe it would be best to put more organization in it. You updated everyday and you'd often switch from group to group. This time I'd upload them all together in chapters. There were so many and so complicated, eventually, that newcomers were confused.
I would start with the story this time around. However, you have a section of your one-shot comics, if possible. If you can't have another section then I wouldn't mind you uploading the pages with those in front. They serve as a good intro.

Daggers, that sounds horribly complicated. Honestly, I like the comic in the order in which it was posted. *nodnod*
But of course, that is just my opinion.

Actually my intent was to upload them all but start with a few good storyline ones before going back into the old stuff (polar bar, the original first, absolutely needed to be redone, the things I did to that to "fix" it left it in horrible disrepair) and I was planning a nice intro, as well as putting some back intp timeline order (cuz the one where he weighs the sees? yeah, that's like in the 1800's so it made no sense really given its position in the archys...) Oh and of course I'll keep the bad old ones somewhere, I'll probably toss them into the forum or wherever with the new site ^_^ And while I 'd like to put things together (in reference to flipping between groups) I've actually made that impossible for mysefl since the reason they flip so much is because these events are either going on at the same time, or nothing is happening between time when other events are going on (until group A meets group B) but this is especially bad where the Mye vs. Bad zerly/ Kavonn vs. bad charby is concerned, ooo thinking about it...then again maybe I may be able to fix that...just had an idea ^_^

That's sounds good to me, Amy!
Oh (^_^; ) Well then it makes sense to put them back the same way.

i love back storys...it lets us get more in touch with the chariters and how they came to be, reather than them just dropping out of nowhere as was the case in the beginning. Also If you have to post all the comics all over again so bee it...Like what was alredy was said I would love to see all the old comics again. personally I only started reading Charby last year but I made a point to read every page...looking over the comic again would give me a chance to go OH MY GOD I totally missed that!!!

I would love to read 'Charby Classic', the way it was first made. If you want to go back later on and maybe do another backstory arc, that would be fine with me! I've heard such great stuff about the original strips and how random they were, I want to read them...
