As you may or may not know, Lysinias and I have been planning a collaborative webcomic. It's a comedy strip centering around six college students and their various tests, trials, and adventures. The main character, Christine Cochran, is a sweet-natured, kind, but busy-busy-busy girl! She's in all sorts of extracurricular activities. Her friends are a varied group, ranging from a tomboy to a "sensitive artist", to a goth, and so on. There's even a hint of some supernatural things that go on.
Why am I telling you all this?Well, Lysinias and I are absolutely stumped! We can't think of a name for this comic. That's where you come in! Suggest a title in this thread, and if we pick it, we'll do one free commission (I suppose that's an oxymoron, huh?) as a thank you!
...So what are you waiting for? *giggle* Let us know if you need more details- but don't expect huge spoilers, or else it's no fun! Creativity is hugely encouraged, and the more funny/clever/obscure it is, the better!

"Hoi, hoi, u embleer Hrair, M'saion ule hraka vair." Hoi, hoi, the stinking Thousand, we meet them even when we stop to pass our droppings. A quote from Watership Down which has always struck me as delightfully, if slightly sickeningly, disturbing. Just a suggestion, incase you want to work off of that. I'll probably think of more, cleaner suggestions soon enough.
o.0 I think I'm obsessing a little too much over this book... No, that definately won't work for your comic. I need to brainstorm some more...

O.o; Well...uh...so far, we've had two suggestions from the same thing, and something really obscure, but where's everyone else? Where's the creativity that we see in the forums? C'mon people! We really are looking for help here!

Names are really hard, 'specially for non-characters. 'Specially 'specially for non-your-own-creations.

I'm obscure? Well, I suppose. I was thinking along the lines of a play on words of sorts. Well, as there are six main characters I naturaly thought of Hex being six. Now I'm unsure of how to add to that, but I did connect that six being the "key" characters as something possible. Plus I also thought of them as the keystone of the comic...so to speak. Hex Key, being a special tool....was the best I could think of. I do think that this train of thought would be an interesting thing to go. Not nessisarily with these words, just the play on words. I'd add to it, but can't think right now as its 4:30am. Daggertooth

Hm... Do the friends know each other before college, or do they meet there? Because if they meet there, then something about mixing together might be good. Like, Melting Pot, or Life Soup (mmm, Soylent Soup... *drools*). Or, I dunno, something totally random, like Swingset Blues, Backwords Frolic, Frying Pan Follies, First Step Dances...

Shippo-chan: Err, uh...uhm...it kinda starts as a generic "comic strip", but there might be an element of "shoujo" in there. xD
Flagg: They meet before they get to college. Three of them, girls all, met in middle school, and the two boys they met in high-school. The last one they met in college. ^^;

Comics have unusual and clever titles. They help shape how the reading will go, and may be the very thing that interests you in it Titles can probably be broken into six categories, at the very least:
Simplistic: A very ordinary title, but sometimes there is beauty in simplicity. Named for a character or theme or subject that appears in the comic. Title sometimes only becomes apparent after delving into the story a bit. (e.g. "School Days" or "Adventures in Gaming" or "Serenity")
Generic: Title that could describe anything, to an extremely broad and humourous degree. Much moreso than the Simplistic titles. (e.g. "Online Gaming Comic")
Oxymoronic/Counter: Complete reversal of what the comic's about, usually has a disclaimer in the first comic (e.g. A cute comic about the adventures of a five-year-old girl and her imaginary friend called "Bayonet Hell" or something.)
Non-Sequitur: Completely random. Has nothing to do with anything whatsoever, and often makes no sense. Titles often also make good names for rock bands. (e.g. "Pickle Farm" or "Macaroni's Elbow" or "Full-Size Mid-Size Car!" or "My Mother was a Radish" or any number of inane things that spring to mind.)
Clever Wording: These are often some of the best titles. Often involves clever literary devices and wordplay. (e.g. "Charby the Vampirate", combining 'vampire' and 'pirate')
Foreign Stuff: When in doubt, use a foreign word. Something in another language. It can follow any of the other rules, too, (particularly the Simplistic) giving an exotic flair to an otherwise ordinary title. (e.g. a comic about cats called "Los Gatos Estupidos")
Mix and match 'em, and you're bound to get a clever comic title. The nature of the comic also helps tell which path the title will take. That's all the suggestions I have...
