I've started a new comic in Hyper Comix called Ball Point Junk (http://www.hyper-comix.com/comics/index.php?name=EnterTheComix&file=view&comix_id=310) but I'm not entirely sure that this is the best name. Someone help me out? New address: www.drunkduck.com/Ball_Point_Junk/

Hmm, Names are hard. Usually when i write a story ( or a rp plot ) i make the story first then come up with a title. you could do something funneh like name it "[Insert intresting title]"
well, that is all i can help *sweatdrop*

Zolah is right Names are always hard... the only things i know about names are that 1-I'm attracted to web comics with funny names 2-I'm attracted to web comics with cool names
Aaaaaaaaaand... that's about it... sorry i can't give you anything more...

I love webcomics with strange names that only relate to the comic if you've read it! ^^

I read a lot of webcomics... and to tell you the truth, most of them have the name <insert main character(s) name here>. It's great if you can come up with a good pun or bizzare inside joke, but remember that the name doesn't make the webcomic!
I'd recommend against deliberately taking a jab at your artwork in your comic style, except that I know it hasn't hurt Badly Drawn Kitties any ^^;

Hmm... Let's see. In responce to your advice, I'll put up a few more names.
Daybreak: "Lily Blossoming", Kioushan: "To draw or draw badly, what a silly question", and for scarecrow, "Clueless is my middle name". Are those any better?

What's to be sorry for? I'm sorry-in that pathetic, loser kind of way. My friends tell me I'm not, but they've only seen the comics on paper. It looks so much better on paper.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY HANNUKAH!!!! Sadly, my parents have a bit too much on their schedule this year to celebrate Hannukah, but my mom's planning on making latkes, small potato pancake-like things made of shredded pototoes, I think some egg, onions, and a whole lot of frying. SOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!! ^u^ I'll get around to a filler on Ball Point Junk at one point, but not today-I GOT A DRUMSET!!!!!!! A REAL DRUMSET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(faints from caps lock overdose combined with the effects of abusing exclamation marks) *cough cough* I HATE the flu.

Congrats!
Anyway, I like "Ball Point Junk". It's swift and to the point. Either that, or "Clueless is my middle name". If there's one thing I've learned from webcomics, it's that the name just has to be catchy. Dr. Lobster, Wrench Farm, Combustible Orange, Krakow, Ghastly's Ghastly Comic, and Number 85 are all comics I've enjoyed whose names have absolutely nothing to do with the actual comic (except for maybe Ghastly's, named after the author, and #85, named after the apartment it takes place in).
Mine was called "Watch out for Snakes", which was just a random quote from an old movie featured in an episode of MST3K. See, doesn't matter as long as it's catchy.

Well, so far 2 people agree on "Clueless is my middle name", I guess I'll use that if noone else can agree on one thing. But, after the holidays-it's gonna be a lot of work changing the name, editing all the pages to say Clueless and whatnot.

clueless is my middle name sounds like a good name for a webcomic, definitely my favourite out of the ones suggested

Alright, I'm starting Ball Point Junk over. It will be a while before I actually have an actual website, I'm just biding my time until I can get a decent storyline planned out, but I've decided to let the 'Lily and the Wand' thing drop. For a while, the comic will be mostly realistic, and the fantastical stuff will be psuedo-scientifically explained. But for now, I give you a random comic based off of what happened to me this week. Enjoy. img69.imageshack.us/img69/2214/scan00017xb.jpg

...as part of Nerds Brained by Basketballs of America (NBBA), I protest that comic. I protest the idea that it is funny and deserving that a nerd should get smacked in the face by a fast-moving ball of rubber. We nerds and geeks are behind the great revolutions of this world, while it is the muscle-brains who then tear everything up. (If you hear me laughing, you are on the east coast)

Oh, believe me, I'm a nerd too. But it's a known fact that if you make fun of yourself, it gives you more immunity to other people who would otherwise make fun of you for the same reason. Example: "Hi guys, I got brained by a basketball in gym!" *cue friends' laughter* "Haw, haw, you got brained by a basketball in gym!" *cue friends' and everyone else's laughter at insulting idiot*

Ah, yes. It's like innoculating yourself against social ridicule! ...What does this have to do with the topic again?

Eh, didn't want to make another topic about my webcomic, I really hate cluttering things up, but I'll make a new one if you want me to.

Bah humbug. I hate how stupid I was these past few years. For clues of what's really going on, check out my Live Journal. Updated fairly infrequently, but with useful information. At least, I think it's useful. dundee-998.livejournal.com/
