Ummm... This could be a thread for asking about pronunciations... Hence the name...
Phineas: is it Finn-ee-us, or Fine-ee-us? Tonius: Tone-ee-us, or Tone-eye-us?
Thats all I can think of for now, but I would like to know ^_^

I always thought Phineas was fin-ees.
We know Quixoto from another thread but I forgot it.

I thought it was Finn-ee-us and Tone-ee-us but I am prepared to be corrected. And I thought Quixoto was kwiks-oh-toh.

indeed it is Finn-ee-us and Tone-ee-us, and Kyee-oh-toh ^_^ Don't worry I've heard other names confuse people before too, Zeno (Zee-noh) was called Zenn-oh before and Mye (ryhmes like eye) to sound like "may" or M-yee Daray's name is pron. dare-aye K'ale's name is just kale, despite the ' thrown in there ^_^ Bojo is pron. boh-joh Sadick's is pron. sayd-ick if I cane think of more I'll post em, but those are the top most misprounounced names ^_^

What about Crispo? I pronounce it Crisp-oh, but my friend pronounces it Creye-spoh. That friend also pronounces Kavonn Kay-vonn, whereas I pronounce it Kuh-vonn.

The only one I've gotten wrong is Quixoto. So it's pronounced the same as Kyoto as in the Kyoto protocol?

In the comic, Mye said it rhymed with "Sherlocke", as in the detective.
And I think it's appropriate it's pronounced "FIN-ee-us". I thought it was "Tone-EE-us", as his nickname is Tony, and "Crys-POH", but suddenly "Tone-EYE-us" and "Kray-SPOH" sound cooler.
Alas, I am still confused about Daray. Is it like the question "Dare I?" or does it sound like "dairy"? I just realized that second one is how I thought his name was said, and it's kind of funny in retrospect, plus the boob thing...

Crispo is kinda pronounced like Crisco (the shortening!) Kris-Poh
Kavonn has 2 different ways to pronounce. odd? It depends on the person adressing him I guess. Kuhvonn (without much pause) or Kav(like cat minus the t)-on. the n is a little drawn on both but not by much.
Yep, Zerlocke does rhyme with Sherlocke, indeedydo
Yea pretty much Tonius is just "Tony" with an "us" added to the end
the "aye" in Daray is actually rhymes with slay so it is Dare-ay (I realize now that the "aye" can be mistaken for aye-aye, as in cap'n, which is probably what threw ya off) there isn't much pause in that either so it is more like D'ray in its pronounciation if you say it quick, Dareay if you are taking your time. I'm confusing myself...

Funnily enough, I’ve never thought about it. I haven’t had to say any names out loud, and when I read I don’t pronounce what I read in my head, if you know what I mean.
But thinking about it, the only one not mentioned that I’m not sure about is Vidor, whether ‘tis Vi-dor or Vid-or and whether the I is an ih or eye sound.

Well Mikko's is like Micky with an "oh" at the end, minus the y of course. Masan's name is prouncounced Mah-sahn and Vidor has a long i sound as in eye (vie-door) Lemrya is Lem-ree-yah Meerse...kinda like it looks hehe

Hmm... wow, I pronounced every one of those wrong (cept for Meerse)

I pronounced Vidor, Lemrya and Meerse correctly.

I sorta went 'Lem-ear-ah' And I pronounce Masan 'Ma-sahn' So I got that one right.
for reasons unknown to me, I use Japanese pronunciation all the time, so I was off on Mikko, Vidor and of course Lemrya. Hexavier is basically 'Xavier' with a 'Heh' sound right?
Hex-a-vee-er With a long 'a' sound.
