Man, damn school blocking won't let me login or post correctly. Jeez.
Anyway, I was just confused on some background. Could you tell me how and when everyone, in order, got to the house? And I don't know if you mentioned it before but how did Menu get the house? How'd they first react to living with everyone like that, since they didn't know each other?

Well, first Menu acquired the house when the owners adopted him thinking he was a regular dog, until he accidentally ate them on a moon night. After he ate them ,and all the food in the house, he visited it only to sleep and spent much of his day wandering the woods begging demons and fae alike for what they were eating, since his own hunting skills aren't all that great (even on a moon night!) He met Zeno on one of these occasions, and Zeno told him to befriend a "human" looking demon, then Menu spotted Charby about to eat a chicken leg, and bartered for the house to just get a drumstick. of course he knew the benefit of having Charby around was what was more important anyway, because soon Charby was bringing home "leftovers" from his nights out hunting (usually an arm or a leg) Then he saw Zeno a second time, and as thanks he invited him to live with them. Charby met Tony while downtown, as Tony recognized him right away to being a vampire and not a regular child. So Charby brought him back, Menu was a little reluctant until he saw that Tony had a TV to bring to the house... Of course next was Mye, who ran into Tony (literally) while they were down town. Menu was a little reluctant about her and wanted her to bring food first, Zeno was adamant that Menu let the new girl stay with them... Later, Mye meets her lost brother Hex while walking on a lonely country road, She begs Charby to let him stay, Charby then convinces Menu that more people means more food and Hex got in right away. Well, the other ones from there on are explained in the comic from Phineas to Crispo, they generally tend to get along but of course there are still both rivalries and close friendships among them. and the first few members are the closest to each other than the rest of the group, of course.
*edit I said "spooted" instead of "spotted". Haha!

Where was Tony staying beforehand (I wouldnt normally ask that as I do know that not all demons live in human homes with electricity) and where did he get the TV it seems odd to be carrying around a TV on your back with no place to plug it in. Also where do they get money for groceries, it dosent seem like any of them have jobs, oh wait.... they probably just have Charby rob his victims dont they? that question has been bothering me for quite some time and the answer just comes into my head as I am typing. Dont you hate it when that happens?

Ok! That clears that up. Gives me a good idea on character feelings too. Haha, Menu's such a monkey! (Not literally, I just say that.) That's cool. But yeah, what were they doing before then? Just wandering like a lot of other demons do?

When you say Menu isnt a very good hunter, are you saying that he isnt a very good fighter or that he isnt very good at catching things? he got the better of his sire and had no trouble with Zeno. He also seemed less than hesitant to fight with Tony and he had no trouble with the fisherman and the former residents of the cabin, and they had a gun.
I dont mind if Menu is weak because one thing I like about CTV is that characters dont automatically become obsolete after other characters surpass them in strength. Everyone has ther chance to have there own plots and adventures. It just seems to me that Menu is capable of taking down large enough prey.

before? Well, before he got the cabin Menu just wandered the woods looking for food to scavenge, eating berries and nuts and the sort to keep going.
Charby moved about where he stayed for the days, staying in caves, rundown homes and the like.
Zeno of course was living in a pathetic brushpile in the woods, also living off whatever he found to eat.
Tony was hiding in the basement of a home (which is where he tanked the TV from) and he had moved from state to state after having to leave his first home (which was the gansters hideout, where he learned english ^_^) and he had never been happy with any place he stayed until he got to the cabin.
Hex and Mye had been seperated in town after living for a long time together in a cave in the woods, the very one their master had lived in. Mye spent most of her time trying to make money to survive by telling fortunes, but with no buyers her business ventures failed and she was eventually chased out by bully kids. Hex was on the other side of town, in the residential area, living under porches and eating from garbage or sneaking into homes when their owners left to get food from their cupboards.
And yes that's right, Charby takes a bit more than blood from his victims, as does Menu.
Mikko hopped onto Menu as he was walking home to hopefully find a nicer place to stay, but Menu noticed him and was going to eat him until he told Menu he was merely his conscience and eating him would be a bad idea. While Mikko is generally a freeloader, he likes to think of himself as Menu's uncle and tries to get the boy to do right, but usually whatever advice he gives him gets mixed up.
And what I mean by Menu not being a good hunter? He is too lazy. He can't track anything down because he loses patience, often he approaches too loudly and scares his quarry off, and he gives up too easy if he feels like it has gotten away. If it's a fight, he is agile and strong, and if it's survival he is a tough customer. but if he has to track down a deer and catch and eat it, he can't quite do it.
