I think Hex normally seems fairly content...he's just not very demonstrative.

Yeah I dont like that post because it was full of self pity and often when people say those kinds of things its more like bragging, but I genuinly think that I am an exception........ but maybe everyone who says that does.

I think most people focus on how they feel themselves, not on how the people around them feel. (At least, that's what I used to tell myself when I was in high school, and very, very shy.) It's easy to think that people are noticing stuff about you, when in reality each person is the center of their own life, and are not greatly impacted by the feelings of others unless it is someone they are close to. Hope that makes sense....

Yes it makes perfect sense and I agree with you, but what I meant was how when someone looks at a homeless person and they get that depressed pitying "why is the world so cruel?" look, its nearly the same as the look that I get.
Im not unhappy really, in fact I would say that I am fairly content and its not strangers, close family, or good friends that I get the look from, it is the people that I see every day but dont talk to much or know very well. I have some depressing habits, like if its raining and im waiting at the bus stop and everyone is in the bus shelter, I will stand outside in the pouring rain.
