A new forum look and an update to the rules!
1. Try to keep things to a pg-13 when discussing things. I don't mind the occasional swear word but try not to swear like a sailor in here! My comic should be a general gauge of what to expect to fly in here.
2. No posting content of an adult nature. There's other places for that! And if it's related to this comic, EXTRA HELL NO, I don't want to see my characters like that! (I don't care if they really are 700 years old, the fact that some of them LOOK underage is enough to say please DO NOT!)
3. Be courteous and give people the benefit of doubt when discussing things. Some people aren't great at communication and a little patience can help us reach understanding. Unless someone outright says they're being a jerk, don't jump to the conclusion that they are!
4. Following up, try to refrain from name-calling when your hackles are up. I know it's hard not to call someone a blithering idiot when they are SO being one, but scream that at the monitor instead of typing it into the form and hitting send!
5. Don't creep on fellow members. This is not a dating site, let's make friends but please do not make people feel uncomfortable to discuss here.
6. If you are going to bring up other webcomics, please be respectful. You don't know how much it hurts to find people talking trash about your work on another board.
7. Links are fine so long as you aren't linking to sites with malware or of an adult nature! (I know some webcomics are a little R-rated so give people fair warning if you are linking to that content!)
8. Don't stir up crap just to cause chaos, don't pick on other members over appearance/gender/orientation/religion or other things. People with repellent "opinions" will be ousted-- it doesn't matter what justification they think they have for being a turd, this forum will not a platform for hate speech.
9. I don't care about double-posts or necro'd posts so long as you have something to say. It's always preferable to edit your own post however!
10. I'm not putting a full ban on discussing topics that might be a little divisive, but please try not to post those here? This is supposed to be a happy place, and we don't want people re-living traumatic moments of their life when they just came here to have fun and discuss some webcomic characters.
Have fun and I hope to see discussions happen here again someday! Don't be shy to post around here and ask questions!
