Well, this section is for announcements after all! Sorry it's kinda late guys, i had a combo of finger-related ailments this last week, worst of which involved a wet towel and fingernails trying to become detached from their place! Also, I just reeeeally need to get a new tablet pen, I had to take several breaks and work on other things non-tablet related because the buttons dig painfully into the flesh of my thumb and it becomes downright excruciating. I usually try to power through pain, but it was even too much for me! Besides all that, it's been a long goodbye for my brother-in-law who is getting deployed soon and we won't see him until 2013!  So I've been going out of town with Nick to hang out with him before he has to leave, and since I can't take photoshop with me... I've got flats, shading, most of the BG done, but the last 2 panels and assorted details are still underway. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow (Monday) and we can see that update! |

And thanks to Sushi now Doogie Howser MD is stuck in my head! (I had to be in bed when that show was on so listening to it now makes me feel sleepy...) Oh yes, and the Family Matters theme is this: youtu.be/jBqcEo5CNTQHaha, youse guys never heard of Steve Urkel? Tee hee! Well, to be fair, most people I knew who watched Family Matters just called it Urkel. He really became the focus of the show. We always joke about Mr. Winslow transferring to LA when we watch the Die Hard movies because he plays a Chicago police officer in the show  |

I goggled homestruck. I like fantasy music, but I have to stay away from it. My grip on reality tenuous as it is.

Oh, I've heard of Steve Urkel, but, although I display interest in media from many different eras, I was born in the nineties, so I have to either actively seek out certain things or have been introduced to them at a young age by may parents (i.e. I Love Lucy, The Beatles, M*A*S*H, Pee Wee's Playhouse, The Marx Brothers, etc.), but that show ended when I was seven. It's unfortunate that I don't get a lot of references to media from that time frame, because truthfully, I don't really identify with my own generation at all.

@sushi. Well I don't identify with anybody really. I suppose that's why I like CTV so much. There isn't much I identify with, this is one of the things I do. Amelius? No, you can stop running I didn't mean it like that... Please, come back!

I know precisely what you mean, NightReflection. There isn't a whole lot out there that captivates on a meaningful level, but something about CTV just strikes the perfect chord with me.
