It happens... Stuff goes through fluctuations... I only posts when I has something to say. Know that I still visit every day! Know that, at least.

Just be careful of zombies when necromancing. They may act friendly, but they really just want your brains.

Waaar! Postage!
Um.... yeah, maybe we should spam ourselves? And then delete it?! And then be like, "who is doing this?!" and then everyone would feel all excited and under attack!!! It would be like a real life RP!
Just brainstorming......
Maybe, and this is a little idealistic, but maybe since this is a Charby forum, the rate of our posting is directly connected to how often Charby updates. I dunno. You guys all still read Charby, right?

I dont check it repeatedly every day anymore, but I always stop in once or twice a day while im on the 'puter.
Im-im trying to act lively so that people will talk more. I feel guilty for disappearing.

I have a constructive idea! When a forum gets to be this size, things have a tendency to be overwhelming, and its often at this stage that it dies. People might not want to start a new thread, for fear of creating a repeat thread, and they might not want to have to necropost, especially if they dont know where an old thread is, and nobody wants to post off-topic. Even in the situation where Amelius has stated that she does not mind necroposting, the fear of what is generally considered inappropriate on other forums might have an effect on the person considering it.
Even though this forum is basically a small community, its history and size makes people sometimes treat it like its larger than it is, feeling on some level like theyll fade into a crowd and go unacknowledged like on some other forums, even though this is not the case.
People also want to speak freely, and that naturally comes through posting off topic, and when they cant, they often dismiss the idea and dont bother to start a new thread or necropost.
However, I think I have an idea. There should be a stickied thread somewhere that has a bunch of links that connects to other threads that contain subject matter which are basic concepts (relationship and social advice, weird experiences and dreams etc). This will give people quick access to various areas where they will be able to distribute their free flowing thoughts guilt free, and it will remind people of the basic nature of the forum.
In an ideal situation, people will respond to the free flowing thought and when it eventually gets off topic, there will be no troubles with switching topics, and so readily available those topics shall be that they will stay first and foremost on the minds of forum goers.
The ominousness of the forum will dissipate for people who frequently use the forum as they realize that they are actual important parts of the community (like I know you all are).
So my suggestion is that we now come up with threads that are good for regular posting. After that we can link them in a stickied thread. We can even think, and add on from there new threads that would be useful.
And yeah, I have a complicated answer from something very simple, but I think those reasons make it worthwhile.

*wearing a I <3s Tonius t-shirt* Heh. I check the forums obsessively, but I know I haven't been posting as prolifically as I once did. That sounds like a great idea, Rehiro! We must find a way to implement it, yes? And sure the forum's in a bit of a recession, but we shall never give up! NEVER! Heeheehe

I still like Munchie Bear most.....
I thought it was a good idea, and yes, we wont EVER give up!
I dont know why you are the only mod left Zolah. I think Shippo is still around.... If you ever need any help though, im sure its not an impossible notion that another mod could be introduced. One whose alias started with an "R" and ended with an "ehiro".

No, it's not an impossible notion that another mod could be introduced. It's not an impossible notion that two mods could be introduced. A certain member, who perhaps spends 90% of her computer time waiting for something to happen here... *whistles oh-so-innocently*

Ive posted a suggestion in the mod forum about making something fun to do like a contest ( with no prize ) or simillar. but yeah, it should be good with some new mod. but then i lso think we should cut down on mods so we dont have like all forums members as mods in the end xD ' CTV the all modly forum ' ^^
I dont remember ifi said this but ive been thinking of elections for mods so those most favored for doing their job etc becomes one. if you understand what i mean >< -dances in cirkle-
I dont have anything against someone new, would just be fun and then i would mebbeh have the opportunity of kicking the forum alive and make it more intresting :3

I'm still here! I may not post often.... but I do still read everything! X.x! I think that the forum activity will probably pick back up again once exams are over for everyone. Summertime is usually when people have the most time for their pastimes.

But back in the old day, people used to post way, way more frequently. I think there is definitely something odd going on, and we need to figure out what it is and put a stop to it. I would undergo an investigation, and check out the frequency of posts at different times on the forum, and who it was posting at those times, but im just too lazy.
We are dealing with a specific crowd now, and we need to figure out what it is effecting those of us that are here currently.
And it has been almost half a year since you responded to me Ryo, at least when it wasnt to give me reasons for why you arent, responding. If its your duty and it takes no effort as you say, and you have enough time to read everything, then you have enough time to either respond to me or pass me on to someone else.
