I like the hat, though I rarely have the occasion to wear it. As I said, I picked it up whilst in Germany. I was passing past a local habberdasher and was quite put out that the establishment was closed. Fortunately a co-worker went back on another date and bought me said hat. For those wondering about the giant burger, it was eaten at a restaurant named Waldegeist, a restaurant whose theme was giant-sized food. A friend of mine got drunk on about 1 1/2-2 liters of beer that day. Here's an example Old picture, taken before I got my ears pierced again And now two old, old photos of me (taken with crappy webcam)

Whilst poking about in photobucket for an avatar I came across one of my favorite old photos. This was taken back in Toledo, where I was a member of a gaming club called BASH (Benevelent Adventurers Strategic Headquarters) and one of the offices favorite games to play was Double Dash. Suffice to say, tragedy occured. I'm the guy on the back. And in my pocket is my ever-present companion, Kornelius. Well, I have an abundance of free time today so you know must see new photos of myself. You can't get enough of that hat. I rarely smile for pictures. My sweet hat from Japan.

I always appreciate compliments, for my ego is enormous! Mein tarnkappe is uber great, I know. Youse may also notice the ever present bags under my eyes, the result of being a long-term insomniac. Seriously, I don't sleep so much as take a number of naps throughout the night. But yeah, once I get some batteries for my camera I'll probably take a picture to showcase my tongue stud.

Awww thx. ^.^
As for the dental stuff before I get a piercing or do any kind of body modification I like to do a lot of research. So I got opinions from friends who have it, medical advisers, and the internet (of course!), and they suggest not to get a lip ring since the ring/labret slowly scraps the enamel off the teeth it's hitting, plus it rams itself inside the gum. (ouch!)
BUT it does it sooo slowly that it seems like nothing is happening, but years down the line it starts to show the effects. I've known people who have had gum infections or the tooth thats being hit slowly erodes away. So i'm not taking any chances! lol.
But with ANY type of body modification you always take chances! For example after my nose piercing heals up someone said im gonna grow a big bump on top! (ew) but I really have to see for myself whenever I decide I don't want it anymore.
But since i'm so teeth conscience i'll just admire people like you who have lip piercings...and i'll dream away.
*admiring* (till eyes start to burn)

My lip ring doesn't even touch my teeth, I have to intentionally move my lip in order for there to be contact. And like I said, pierced at 19 and I turn 26 next week, no problems so far. Also I'm curious from seeing a few pictures, how many tattoos do you have? I've got a four-leaf clover over my heart.

I suppose it could be the positioning of the ring as well. But im glad to hear it doesn't bother you! That gives me hope and a little more confidence to get one. (much to my mothers dismay!) Your actually the first person i've ever heard of that hasn't had any problems with their lip piercing. I'll talk to my piercer about getting it done. And as for my tattoo I only have one so far. I DON'T intend to go crazy with them like some people, but I might go for one or two more and i'll stop there. But right now I just have the one moon and three stars from the movie Pan's Labyrinth (that movie holds a very special place in my heart ) It would be cool to see yours as well. ^.^ This pic was taken the very same day I got it so it look's very fresh and clean here. I wish it stayed just like that, but ya know the healing and scabbing always takes a toll on it. v.v

Wow! Kanidasha, that's one fancy looking tattoo you've got. It's very simplistic, but also very pretty, and I actually think it suits you quite nicely too.

ty very much for the compliment kioushan! Most people don't actually find it appealing since it doesn't have the cliche crazy colors and designs on it. But for me less is always more.

Awesome tat! Is the clover symbolic for something or did you just like the design? Nice, a tongue piercing. I actually have a friend who swallowed her tougne barbell in her sleep cuz it loosened itself. ohhh scary.

The tattoo is something that some of the grandkids got when our grandmother died. The kids that were closest to her all got a clover. Mine is over my heart, my brother on his hand, one cousin on her hip and another cousin on his bicep. Obviously we're Irish.

Ok, here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures that I took whilst in Nippon. My favorite part of visiting Japan was visiting temples and shrines and I did visit quite a few. My favorite temple however was the Inari Temple. Now I have dozens of pictures, but I'll just post a few of them here. Anyways, here I was minding my own business when a samurai starts issuing a challenge to me. Now I wasn't gonna stand for that, so I did the only thing I could do. I girded my loins. The battle that ensued was too fast paced for the camera to follow, but rest assured I was victorious. No sooner had I wiped the blood off my blade that a new challenger appeared. He was a worthy foe, but in the end I walked away the winner. After claiming the title of strongest samurai ever, I decided to celebrate with a delicious bit of deliciousness, yakiniku.
