Viktor blinked abruptly, turning his attention on the furry-eared girl. He seems uneasy... It isn't everyday something like this happens! 'Umm... I dunno." Something switched. "Eet ees.. Verrry veird, no?"
Viktor's mind is a strange and wonderful place to be. Not that he'd know... He hasn't been in it for a while now...
Dylan pulled the hand towards him, biting his lip as he examined the sprout. "Can't be. Haven't been around for at least a thousand years." He swore under his breath in the same language he lit the fire with. "Letti, do you have anything like this where he touched you?" His voice was sharper than he meant it to be, but he was worried.
It made sense, if he was right. The coincidental meeting, the weird vibes.... wait. Letti and Vik weren't the only ones. He glanced wildly around, his gaze settling on the new fae and the dragon. "Oh, I didn't hear you..."

Melody jumped. She had been so absorbed in the plant that she had forgotten that she was out in the open. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to intrude," she said, stepping back into the forest.
Dylan shook his head and motioned her forward with his free hand. "Wait. You'll need to see this, too." he paused for a second, cleared his throat, and added hesitantly in heavily accented Common Dragon "Both of you." (OOC: When he speaks Dragon, he probably sounds kind of like he would if were trying to speak in mideval English to a human).

"you don't have to do that," Coal said, stepping forward," i speak english quite well." Melody followed her friend hesitantly, wings extended, reasy to flee if necesery(sp?). "What is it?" she asked softly, staring.
The boy nodded vaguely "What? Oh, right. Excuse me, it has been a while since I was last in the company of dragons." He truned back to the sprout and observed it for a moment more, his brow furrowed over his dark eyes as he thought.
He should tell them. But then again, he wasn't entirely sure what he was seeing. They needed to talk to someone who knew plants. And demon plants.

Melody gently looked into the young man's mind, trying to figure out what was making him uneasy. seeds, plants, demon plants, demon market, and the path from the air. Melodypulled out of his mind. she shrugged off the feeling that he was hiding something and stepped closer. "is there something that we need to know?" she asked softly, crouching beside him.
(OOC:Melody is not being accusing, she genuinly wants to know. she said it kindly. just wanted to make sure Dylan didn't take it the wrong way)
(OOC: Dy? Take something the wrong way? Nah, he thinks the best of people. Even if they don't deserve it.)
He looked over at the fairy, calculating for a moment, then turned back. He uttered a single word in an old tongue, something poetic that sounded both rare and dangerous. "It can't be precisely translated, I'm afraid. Century Flower, Felicity and Fate, Seer's Seedlings, Prophacy's Catalyst... it has dozens of names. If I'm right..." he swallowed. "Well, the thing is, I have no idea if I'm right. Many demon plants have similar growth patterns and auras. But whatever it is, Viktor, Letti... and the dragon are all hosts to it."

Viktor seemed completely uncomprehending, untill he snapped to attention, perhaps in a moment of his fast escaping sanity. "A demon plant, you say? Are there any effects? Will anyone I touch become infected-" he trailed off suddenly, as his only pupil suddenly dilated, and he began humming to himself.
Viktor's mind is a strange and wonderful place to be. Not that he'd know... He hasn't been in it for a while now...
- Demon plants? Plants do never harm anyone without having some sort if meaning to it.. like venus traps.. they catch flies and other bugs to be eaten.. wait... do you mean that this demon thingy will eat up fairys.. it must be huge!
" Lettis eyes goes wide open, she have problebly not really listened at all what everyone have been saying. but sh e sure looked a scared "
Melody took sat down. heavily. "Coal? infected? what does it do? will she be okay?" Melody cried out, worried about her only friend. Coal walked over to Melody. placing a paw on her sholder, she looked into Melody's eyes. Calmly, she said "Melly, calm down. I'll be fine. I'm sure these people can figure out what to do." she looked over at Dylan. "Right?"she asked, a little frightened despite herself. (OOC: Melly still isn't quite sure she should trust these guys)
Dylan left off examining the plant and raised his hands, trying to get everyone to calm down. Damn, he shouldn't have blurted it out like that...
"Everyone, it's all right. Girl... Suka, is it? It won't attack you and it can't 'infest' you. Demon plant is just the name given to the wide variety of flora with highly magical properties that seperated them from normal plants. Similar to how vampires are different from humans. They aren't common these days - they only grow in deep woods and private gardens - which is why I'm concerned by their appearance." He took a breath. So far, so good, even if that wasn't the entire reason he was worried.
"As for the three of you, they aren't fatal, but removing them might be." He thought for a moment. "I have an... aquaintance who is far more knowledgeable in these areas than I am. I suggest we talk to her, first." He gave Suka a charming, sympathetic smile. "Of course, I understand if you don't wish to come, this doesn't exactly affect you."

Dylan raised an eyebrow. "Of doom? Nevermind. Just promise to leave Viktor alone. And don't call me sir, it makes me feel old." He stopped and thought about what he just said. "Older. I mean - ah, forget it."

"Doom? Doom doom, doom..." Viktor proceeded to add the word doom to his slowpaced, if slightly creepy, humming. "Let's find this aquaintance. Does it have a purdy feathery-coat-thingummy to? It's weird. Though it was wingses the first time I saw it..."
Viktor's mind is a strange and wonderful place to be. Not that he'd know... He hasn't been in it for a while now...
"Oh, I haven't introduced myself to everyone... call me Dylan." HE gave Viktor an uneasy look. "Erm, right. Just a cloak. Well, if I'm correct, the demon market is in... uh..."
It was then that Dylan realized all his landmarks were only useful from the air.

Well, the kindly gentleman had said it was a cloak, so Viktor decided to believe him. Why would someone from heaven hide his wings? The demon marketplace... That sounded interesting. "Demons?" he cocked the tattered remains of a dragon-like ear in curiousity.

Melody stood up, blushing. "i'm ... uh...sorry about that. I didn't mean to ..." she said, trailing off. Gathering her courage, she turned to Dylan. Remembering the path from the air, she whispered softly to Dylan "If you like, i can fly above the trees and tell you what i see." Coal stared at her, shocked. What are you doing? she asked Melody silently. Melody turned to her.I trust him she said simply. Coal rolled her eyes, but said nothing.
