I... can`t think of a nickname for you, you could be Redhead? How about Ginger Grant? The redhead from Gilligan's Island, sirens should remind people of shipwrecks.

I'm not a natural redhead, and I don't believe the sirens really had anything to do with men crashing their ships. I think that the men were stupid enough to venture out on boats when they couldn't swim, and fell victim to hormones when they saw an illusion of women after months away from female company. ^_^ But that's just me.
~.~ But...thanks for the attempt.

That`s a very... interesting opinion of why they died.
You shame me in my own thread! *fake sob* How about, Lorelus the Brave? Gaea Jr. Dulcinea, that`s a really pretty one? Naia? Raidne? Lethe or MagickStyx?

My friends call me all sorts of weird things XP On the internet, mostly Rainy, and one guy I chat with just calls me "RR" XP He's a lazy bum! Anyway, in real life most people just call me by my name, or they warp it into some cutesy little nickname. I really like nicknames though, especially when they have a stiff name, like Thomas or something! Then you really just wanna give them a really annoying one

I've recently gotten a nickname from one of my best friend's cousins, from the most interesting birthday party I've ever been to. I doubt any of you'd want to hear about it, it involved quite a bit of conversations that young teenage girls shouldn't be talking about. And so, whenever I am in the presence of any of my friend's many cousins, I shall henceforth be known as 'Mo'. ALL BEHOLD, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL MO!!

Oh, jeez. Productive last few months, in terms of nicknames. The following are still carrying on to this day, if only used occasionally, to bring up old humor.
"Mistah Gee"/"Mister Goblin". Not exactly sure where this one came from, but I have my theories. It all started when I was writing for my goblin characters, who were 'getting into an argument'. (ie: Trying to rip eachother's liver out.) When I write for my characters, I tend to get into character to the point that I act like them, even visibly. So, as a goblin, I hunched over, to the point that my arms almost touched the ground (I have unusually long arms), and managed to glare down at people who were taller than me. I was at a bus station. A guy bumped into me, and I snarled on reflex. Perhaps not the most 'normal' of gestures, but whatever. I guess he was a Lord of the Rings fan, because he said, "Jeez! Easy there, Mister Goblin!" ...My friends were with me. XD Apparently, 'Mistah Gee' is there way of referencing my method of laughter, based on the Joker, or, 'Mistah Jay'... And the whole 'down with elves' thing all at once.
"Notebook". I carry around a notebook, and/or sketchbook, and doodle/write random things down constantly. This one is usually used in a commanding sense, as in 'Notebook! Get over here!'. Usually used by people in my classes who don't bother to ask my name.
"Tophat". Simillar origins to "Notebook". I often wear a tophat. Also used in a commanding way, by people who don't bother learning my name. 'Move it, Tophat!'.
Gorbag, Shagrat, Grishnakh, Snaga, Lurtz, any other random orc, goblin, or uruk name you can think of: Another reference to the whole 'Goddam pretty boy filthy elf-wench!' thing I presumably hold against the Lord of the Rings. Yes. My favourite characters from the books and the movies are definately the goblins/orcs/uruk-hai.

Ok I have a couple of these Spork: No freaking clue as to how I ended up with this but someone at school decided to start it up and it stuck -_- nightman: this would have been my e-mail and my original attempt at an online alias nightmanflock: don't ask me how I came up with the suffix, check the how I'm weird topic and notice that my mind works in ways I do not understand, but nightman seemed to be taken quite frequently so I got this. NightWing: What I have when underscores and other random characters aren't allowed. Explained below XXX_NightWing: This is what I use for just about everything since around 1-2 years ago. I got it playing starcraft on battle.net joining a clan, and battle.net doesn't have a name change option so new account and here we are. Actually the guy who recruited me gave me the name NightWing based off of nightmanflock. Night: shortened version of either of my online names so that is self explanatory. The odd one is: "The Sliverist": I got this because I play Magic: the Gathering TCG and so do some of my friends. It is no secret among anyone who has seen me playing around slivers that I hate them. With a passion. I have fun throwing them through campfires seeing how many times it takes before they ignite type of hate [insert evil laugh here ] Edit: wow it seems I am trying to bring back dead threads that's what happens when you come into a well-established project I guess so... HI! (wow this is already the most posts I have ever had on a forum with 4)

I feel like reviving some old threads and bringing some life back into the general board. So here I am world.
I don't think I've ever explained the origins of my alias. Basically a friend of mine had a cat named Kyu, who was a rather curious cat to be honest. One day he was observing the tail pipes of a car and was rolled over, or so I've been told. Either way, the cat ended up dead, so I took the Kyu part, which is now Kiou, and added -shan to it, just for the extra weeaboo mile.
I have other nicknames as well, for example. -Q, which was my buddy trying to find a faster way for spelling Kiou. -Bob, not too sure where this one comes it, but it was a nickname of mine for a while. It kind of stopped sticking though. -Jiae, this isn't really a nickname so much as my Asian name, but it's what my brother calls me (I actually think he's forgotten my English name), and by association, all of his friends call me.

Nice, an alias thread, now that it has been revitalized, I shall post here in the hopes of furthering this revitalization!
I actually have a few nicknames:
Lurker- As my avatar text indicates, I am a lurker in all aspects of my life. This one was kind of inevitable I guess, especially considering that in real life I tend to be very quiet and apparently end up sneaking up on a lot of people (judging by their startled reaction, although I think I am rather noisy).
Overlord-Strangest nickname I have actually, it comes from a high school experience that resulted in a significant portion of the student body believing that I am going to take over the world.
Ender of Worlds, The Walking War Crime, Purger of Life-Nicknames given to me by my brother during various games of Star Wars: Battlefronts involving battles that include an AT-AT. It is pretty much a different nickname each time, but they follow the same general theme.
Lord Rend (and other web names)-Are all based off associated characters that I have created. There actually are quite a few of these, but most I rarely use anymore.
You...-Partial nickname given to me by people who play against me in strategy games such as Age of Empires, Starcraft and others. Believe me, there is nothing else to the nickname (at least that they say). It comes from my habit of building massive defense lines that take forever to get through.
Looking back, I seem to have a lot of malicious sounding nicknames... I assure you, they do not reflect my actual temperament, just my lurker tendencies tend to make some things stand out over my general behavior.

Oh I am slowly trying to revitalize the general thread. Evil-type nicknames are very cool always. I don't have any evil sounding names though. Sometimes people call me a pedo, but that's not a nickname, it's a joke.
At one point in time, a person told me that I looked as though my name should be Jessica, so whenever I sign up to a website and I don't want to use my real name, I just put in Jessica Parker. Not really an alias, but I thought it might be relevant.

Okay I'll bite. <.<....>.>
Current nicknames:
Mia: a shortened version of my real name. Cute and simple. (Also easier to write.)
Ryoko Dragonez: A name created in an RP with a friend. It fit so well that it stuck O.O.
Ryo :Shortened version of my online handle.
That's about it... I really don't have any other nicknames.

Understand that my first name, Mikayla, is usually pronounced "Mi- (as in "sit")- Kay- (as in "day")-la", that I got this name by mistake, and that I was stuck with this as my official name for the better part of a school week because I was absolutely terrified of the person whom accidently gave it to me and didn't want to correct him.
This one is difficult to explain... It happened when I was in France, in elementary school, and we were at an outing of some sort, and they needed to take names. The person who took my name didn't ask how to spell it, and while I'll never be quite sure how she wrote it, we can assume by how the person she handed the finished list off to pronounced it, that it was rather incorrect.
The role-call man had a very sharp german accent, not surprising given the region I was in at the time, and when he read my name, it came out as "Mi-CHAEL".
The "Mi" is pronounced as "me", the "ch" rather wetly, as though clearing one's throat, and the "ael" sounding as in "defile", almost becoming two separate syllables, as in "AI-EL" (sky-bell). Forgive me if I'm being overly picky with the pronounciation, but it really is very important.
Even more important is the fact that the second syllable needs to be practically shouted. It makes me jump to attention immediately. Basically, anyone in my immediate friend-group or familly (especially my mum) uses this to get my attention. I react to this one from across the house. It has the mysterious property of magnifying people's voices in such a way that really does turn heads.
There it is.
Mi-CHAEL. *Cringe*

Hey my name is Michaela and it's pronounced the same as yours. I understand completely... I've heard some pretty outrageous pronunciations. My favorite was Mich-ee-la but I'm sure I've gotten worse. I've been Michael a lot because of the spelling. The only actual nickname I've accepted off my name is Micky... though my uncle used to call me Mickya-micka-micka-michaelicka

Best spelling of that name-sound I have ever encountered was on a napkin-note written by my neighbour, and that was...
..."Mychaelia".
This name-sound seems to have been designed to confound certain folks, make no mistake. It was well designed.

I've got a few nicknames from here and there, although my most known alias is Omnikar, the self-given name that I use for most of my interweb adventures. I also go by DC, Billy, The Chad and so on. Each of those names have stories to them, plus the ones that I've forgotten.
