NOOO! I don't want her to die! Sadly, it does seem like a possible outcome.

Amelius did mention in the beginning that she'd kill them off at her leisure, but I'm sure she's mentioned somewhere that that was not quite intended that way. Either way, we are probably not going to lose any. That said, it's not like Amy needs the extra, she could knock off half the cast and still have too much story to ever be able to put on paperl.

I could see her dying, but it unless Amelius REALLY knows how to write through trying times, it's not a good idea. Because unless she writes it almost perfectly, people are always going to be like, "I miss Mye." or "This new girl doesn't hold a candle to Mye." or even "What?! Tony and Charby? He should be with Mye!!!"
If anyone's going to die, it might be Zeno. I like Zeno a lot, but I feel his death could be both good story-wise, and easier... "to contain."

And Odin brings up one of the reasons I think she's likely to die (at least more so than some other cast members). It already happened once.
Now, death, in general, is a highly abused device in stories. Extraordinarily so. Nobody wants to lose their favorite character. Nobody wants to feel pain of loss. These days, death is almost exclusively reserved for minor characters that won't get a strong negative reaction. Redshirts, mostly, but there's the occasional well established character who dies. Even then, though, they're usually annoying, misguided, or flawed in some other such way that detracts from the actual sadness of their death. I, for one, am appalled at people's fear of evoking true pain. Now, I'm not saying there aren't good stories out there, where death is used beautifully, but in general, it is not used to its potential. And in some cases where a loved character dies, they're resurrected or didn't actually die in the first place, yet again not evoking a true feeling of "death" when you know they'll survive anyway.
Now, I don't know who or how many will die in CTV, but I'm going to agree here that Zeno might be the easiest to kill, but even there, he's whiny(to put it one way) and is likely to be missed less, so even greater skill may be needed in the execution. I admire those who aren't afraid to kill off a character when it's more realistic. The reality of death is terrifying and shouldn't be played down.
The opposite, though, is horror movies where there is abundant death, but it's made utterly trivial. The death of one haunts your memory; the death of many haunts the history books.

Just because you mentioned red shirts i though I'd say this. Kirk died that's why Picard is the superior officer.

Probably mentioned this before, but just realising how well written Mye and Zeno's relationship. It's cradle-robbing of the first degree and it shows. Zeno is moody and unknowingly self-centred, just like a kid. Although it is surprising that in the decade+ they've known each other, he doesn't seem to have matured much. Maybe being beaten up consistently - it is a valid point. I'm not sure what Mye saw in him (I'm sure it was noted somewhere, but it's forgotten, and I'm not just talking about he was there and Vic wasn't) Mye is always self-sacrificing to keep things stable, but I wonder, would she be too ashamed to break up if it came to it? She's such a soft touch. It looks like the sort of relationship that will slowly stew until it eventually hits boiling point and then... 'BOOM', but with the way the scythe is going, I doubt there will be time for that.

I agree, but it'll likely just involve him being severely depressed. If and when anybody else tries to be with Mye, from then on, "boom" may be the more accurate term. He's less inclined to get angry with Mye, I'd say.
