Kavonn's eyebrows get spiky when he's showing emotion (When he gets mad, mostly) I mean, look at the pages when he's interacting with LaBelle (he's mad in most of them, XD) When he's swearing in the marketplace they look like lightning bolts! (Harry Potter just popped into my mind for no good reason...)
Yes, I did need to start a new thread, just to tell you that.
Anybody else got some small observations?

I noticed this as well. I suspect is has to to with his transformation. As for a small detail, I've noticed that Zerlocke went from being a grandiloquent and enigmatic badass to a hopeless and hapless romantic, infatuated with Mye. Never the less, he is an awesome character and a source of much comedy.

I think Kavonn's eyebrows are always messed up, they're just usually hidden under his hair. His hair only moves when he's freaking out. There is a party episode where Labelle & Saddick shave his hair off and you can see clearly even though he's unconscious.

Oh yeah... How'd I miss that? I wonder if it was anybody Daray knew?

And if he was, would Daray really care? I mean, after he was disowned, he did immediately glom onto the person who was the reason for his disowning. I mean, we know Kavonn is cool, but most of the time Daray knew him he was in in and out of conciousness from pain with man-boobs. For him to attatch himself to that person speaks of desperation, and the fact that he really had nobody else in the world. (poor guy. But, now he's at the cabin, and he's got more friends! He's at least got Crispo, right?)

Depends... he didn't seem to like the frozen middle of the burrito. Not to mention all the stuff in human food. Ick. BUT I bet Mye is a better cook than he's used to! ^^

All the stuff in human food like Zinc Trisodium Aspartate, Sorbatale, and Bisulfate, Oxide, Beta Caratine, Lactic Acid, Carab Bean...

Exactly. Geeze, I wonder what that stuff does to demons and the like... I mean, isn't the folklore behind iron and silver keeping fairies away the fact that those metals were worked with, manipulated by humans? And NOW... That would be interesting to think about, wouldn't it? By the above logic plastic would be utter ANATHEMA to the fay... Or am I just twisting stuff around in my head again? That happens, you know.

Well, silver was considered divine or holy, hence its effect on magical creatures. As for iron, I could probably look it up on wikipedia, but I dunno if it'd be accurate. I don't think plastic would work unless it was magical somehow.

Well, plastic is made from carbon, but, to inject logic into a completely impossible world, there are bound to be a few new allergies/dangerous substances in the millions of new human compounds. But remember, Iron and Silver are both elements. Not that this counts for much - Amy has said their compounds, eg, steel, are not the same, and oranges don't work on alps. So it is likely there are new weapons out there. I'm sure Blaine has discovered a few.

Ok, so instead of starting a new thread, I think this might be a good one to continue the discussion from DD. I'm using the DD username here, simply to make the distinction of where it was said.
Ka_rin- Panels six and seven are kind of odd feeling as in six Kavonn looks like a child throwing a tantrum but in seven he has a more angered adult giving first and final warnings.
the1truesushiboy- I'd have to say I disagree with Ka_rin about Kavonn in panel six. I think he looks pretty darn stern in both, but, more so in the last panel 'cause he knows, whatever it is she would've said, he wouldn't like it.
Ka_rin- Really? I see more of a pout with the pronounced upper lip and the eyebrow angles. His eyes have more of a leer quality as opposed to the apparent glare quality of panel seven.
To me, it looks like his anger is adult enough in the sixth panel, partially because of the eyebrow angles, but that he's just holding in his oral expression of it, partially because he's not the type of person to yell at somebody like that after they've already left and he knows well enough by now that anything Yiska would say would just worsen the situation for him. I can't describe it well, but... kinda' like he just wanted to get them out of there so he could end it as quickly as possible and since he's still gotta talk to Yiska, the best way to get the innuendo over with is to address her more harshly. I grant that he looks more angered in the last panel, but it comes of as a natural progression of anger expression to me than going from "child's tantrum" to "adult warning".

I'm jumping in on your conversation, here, but it could be a bit of both. Kavonn is, physically, pretty much ten-ish. So his expressions, even if they have adult origens, look childish because of something that's not his fault.

you could just punch in Odin either way my avatar is the same here and there. but not on deviantart. my own art is my avatar for there.
I like the way ihonestlydontknow put it. I was speaking from a purely art subject when I said the original statement anyways. though seeing him throw a tantrum would probably be amusing and involve people bothering him finding themselves in strange and possibly perverse outfits.

Well, I wasn't certain which one to use. That's why my username is always the same.
ihonestlydontknow, that is a very good explanation.
Considering Kavonn's punishments for Sadick and LaBelle, Kavonn having a full blown tantrum would be a sight to see indeed. But given his treatment of jackalopes, it might involve move violence than depravity.

well i see tantrums as childish the jackelope suffered full on rage assault.
I use several usernames, Nuc-sol, Odin, Gumdrops, TheNozzle, ZeNozzle, Ka_rin, and more.

Well, if Kavonn had the mentality of a ten year old(and assuming the hat went along with his childish whims), you're probably right.
