I... have an idea. A bold idea. A, quite honestly, rather outlandish idea. An idea that would almost invariably not come to fruition. What if... (I'm seriously hesitant to suggest it)... what if we organized a CTV convention? Yes, I know that there are many of you in other countries and live far away from each other and can't spend money or time on roadtrips , but considering that CTV is ranked very closely to being in the top 100 webcomics on TWC and considering its following, maybe... just maybe it's not a hopeless idea. There are other webcomics with much less of a following that have organized meet-ups for fans. I don't know... Just talkin' about parties got the idea in my head. Perhaps such an event is many years away, but why not just put it out there?

I will not deny the possibility. My suggestion towards that great dream is the following: Start small. Perhaps setting up CTV pannels during other conventions and see the results there. That would be a good way to start. You could have discussion about the art, characters and games such as mock voice tryouts for the characters. (Have people read the lines off of a page or two...) We could see the reaction and go from there. That would actually be really fun. I'd go to a pannel for CTV at a con, and I"m going to a con this spring! (first time in like three years, i'm so excited!)

Yeah, starting small is a good idea. I just don't know how plausible the idea actually is, considering Amy and Nick can't really afford the money and I don't even know if a fan doing the convention would even make sense. I've never actually gone to a convention, but I want to. I just lack time and money. *sigh*

I think, let's get Nick and Amy to attend a con first before making their own. I just hope it doesn't end the way VG Cats and SNAFU are now - their authors spend all their times at cons and don't have time for comics anymore

PERISH IT!!
A CTV con it's a marvelous idea. But I agree with nightreflection, Mrs. Amy and Nick should go to a con before making their own. And I wouldn't be able to attend it anyway *sniff*...no...don't mind me...*sniff* *cries in a corner*

Same here with a friend who lives kinda' far away. Apples and various berries. She makes homemade ice cream and goodies. Haven't had any in a while... Wait... what was this thread about again? Oh yeah... I guess a tangential topic doesn't really matter for avatar images. So yeah. Cooking is fun!

Though we can't control when and where we're born, we're lucky to be in this age where communication has been made so easy.

Hell yeah. If we could teleport, we could replace roads with trees. The whole world would be happier and better off.

They are very important for our health! If we didn't have trees...WE WOULD HAVE DIED LONG AGO!! VERY LONG AGO I SAY! D< So why the H*CK do our kind cute them so! If you need paper and wood, THEN WE NEED TO PLANT A DAMN LOT OF TREES *has a problem*

I like your environmental policy. Similar to mine hehe, instead of trees we should plant corn. I like corn. But the do help clean up our muck. I used to work next to a main road, the place I worked had a tree barrier. Besides the noise they also filtered out a lot of the pollutants. Although the effect wasn't huge, I imagine they'd need a whole forest to clear the road's CO2 properly. Wood furniture is good for the environment - plantation wood has been eating CO2 for years before it's the right size. Providing that's where it comes from of course.

I we didn't have trees, we'd never have existed in the first place. Humanity needs to do something smart and not worry about how much it'll cost. Plant some cultivatable vegetation wherever possible!

If it weren't for trees some of the roads where I live would be wider. It's amazing how much it costs two cut down two 75+ year old pecan trees when you have to reimberse the property owner the value of the trees.
Wood furnature is also good for the environment because it breaks down over time.

Bamboo is the way of the future! You can do soooo much with it! From furneture, to clothes! And it grows much more quickly that other plants, you can grow something like 8 forests of bamboo in the time it takes to grow some other kinds of trees. It's amazing. People need to invest more in bamboo things. That's one efficient plant, there. -nod-
There are so many little ways to help the environment if you look. (Now I can't stop thinking about bamboo... it's not only an awesome material, but a catchy word. Seriously, say 'bamboo' out loud. I dare you. Say it.)
