I stumbled in here cause Amelius said somefin' about people trying to breathe life back into the forum. So I was curious as to what that entailed. Of course even if you do manage to raise an undead army (the only reason to get into necromancy) what do you plan to do with it?

Isn't it obvious? Take over the world of course! First, I shall use them to infultrate all branches of all governments. Then once my sleeper cells are all in place, I shall make my second stage, where I shall disable all world governments. Then, I, along with those who swear loyalty to me and my undead army will RULE THE WORLD! I shall, of course, be a benevolent dictator. Anyone want a cushy spot in my new government?

And, failing that, I'll use them to do odd jobs around my house. My room needs cleaning.

Actually, Mandrake is part of the nightshade family. You know, just a few days ago I relabeled all of my ketchup bottles "Nightshade Coulis". I'm too smart for my own good... Although... "Nightshade Coulis" sounds more like a murder mystery story, with a plucky chef as the unwitting investigator.
"The next great American novel hits stores this February. Nightshade Coulis is a hardboiled murder mystery with a vivid and enthralling plot. Join Frite T. Pommes, the bold, up and coming chef of a four star restaurant, as he struggles to unravel the riddle of his best friend and rival's death."
The T stands for Tuber... XP

Thank you for the cookie! NOMS
Well, that makes sense. Since mandrake and nightshade are part of the same family we COULD use it as a subsitute.
-snort- Oh, man... that name! Hah! I take it his specilty is potato-type dishes? Has he made the french-fry into a four-star meal?

Tomatoes and mandrake are both part of the family Solanaceae, which is known as the "Nightshade" family. Coulis is a sauce made from vegetable or fruit puree, hence ketchup being "Nightshade Coulis". "Pommes frites" is the French term for French fries. Potatoes are tubers. So... yeah. Frite T. Pommes, the star of "Nightshade Coulis" would probably be famous for his french fries...
The trivia king strikes again! :3

Oh, that's cool. I wish I spoke more than one language. I just know these things because I seem to have the ability to remember the most trivial and insignificant details. Oddly enough, I seem to easily forget things actually try to remember. Weird, eh?

I see now o3o
I can remember things quite easily actually, but if I have to remember like 10 pages per day, then my head would explode XP I like knowing trivial things and just like you, they seem to glue to my brain XD
