Elenore was walking by when she stopped and looked at the house, curiously. "Wow. I wonder what happened to this place..." She muttered, before noticing the man in the lawn chair. "Excuse me, sir?" She asked, rocking back on her heals but leaning towards him, though not too close since she was slightly repulsed by his appearance. "Si-ir? What is this place? What happened here?"
(( Took me forever to choose a name. >.< I hope this is alright for an introduction. If not I can fix it. ^^; ))

Alrighty, ladies and gents, my computer has kicked the bucket. I just put it into the Computer Repair shop to see if they could right it again, and hopefully they can get it back up standing. Until then, I am computer-less unless my dad decides to lend me one of his two laptops. So long until then- Dundee

OOC: Hullo...
As this doesn't seem to have gotten very far, do you think I might join? (Sadly, I'll have to wait for an answer until the author's computer is no longer kaputt-ed...) I'm a long-time CTV reader...and yeah, I found roleplaying on the forums and had to find something to join on here...
If you're still accepting members...I'd like to play one of the women from "The Twelve Huntsmen"...basically twelve women who dress up as huntsmen and live like men at court. I'd also like to cross the character with a younger version of the witch-type character from Hansel und Gretel, though...essentially a weird, solitary red-eyed woman with a rifle and a taste for human/etc. flesh.
Please let me know once your computer is up again and you have the chance- I'd love to play!

*gasp* A newcomer! Your ideas are great, love 'em both! Can't recall the tale about the Twelve Huntsmen, but it involves crossdressing! Yay! Oh yeah, now I remember. Something about scattering hard peas on the ground to see how they walk on them. If they stomped and crushed the peas, they were men. If they tiptoed around the peas, they were ladies. Cool! Great ideas! Status on Com Pewter: On my tower, I have a large slot that I insert different hard drives into, depending on which programs are installed on them. As it turns out, the doohickey that makes them work for my computer is fried. SO, they're going to weld my most commonly used hard drive to the tower, leaving me without access to neither the ability to use DVDs on my computer nor Microsoft PowerPoint. I should be getting it back sometime this week. Update on schedule: I'll be available all weekend, as our DM for Friday night is out of town, and my brother's at work on Saturday, leaving me by my lonesome. So I GUESS that's good. Hopefully seeing you guys soon! -Dundee

OOC: Huzzah! Do you want me to PM you with a quick write-up of the character, etc. I'd had in mind? I'll be out of town all next week, but I should still have access to teh intarwebs.
And yes, you're quite right, it's the story with the peas!

Fraulein Bein raked a frustrated hand through her pale, tangled hair and scowled up at the wide, blank sky.
"By the Dark Mother," she growled, flinging her long, thin frame into a weathered park bench. "She's one bloody little girl...how does she do it?"
The ancient blunderbuss she wore slung across her shoulders dug painfully into the small of her back, and she shifted awkwardly, trying to find a comfortable position. She pulled a creased and tattered photograph from the pocket of her black duster and stared down at it, like a lean hawk waiting for a mouse.
"I'll find you, girly," she muttered. "I'll take you back to your loving daddy in pieces if I have to. I don't lose to the likes of you."
Fraulein Bein looked up abruptly, becoming suddenly aware of someone watching her. A child sat astride one of the acid-worn statues in the park, watching her with wide and innocent eyes. Her stomach clenched unpleasantly, reminding her of how long it had been since she'd last had a proper meal. She smiled slowly, baring teeth that were a little too sharp for comfort.
"Well...hello, little one." Slowly, she drew a piece of gingerbread from her pocket and leaned forward. "You look hungry. Would you like a cookie?"
"THOMAS!"
A woman burst out from the grim-looking trees on the other edge of the park and scooped the child from the statue.
"Thomas, stop bothering the nice woman, sweetheart, and where have you been, you look a mess-"
Fraulein Bein sighed disgustedly and rose. She crumbled the cookie, tossing it to the pigeons that clustered eagerly round. She hated pigeon- so fatty and bland, and tasting of chemicals and soot-
Soot- no- smoke! She sniffed the air, frowning with concentration. Smoke, that way...and the burned smell of something else. She hesitated, mouth open like a cat as she scented the air. Some memory nibbled at the edge of her mind, but slipped away before she could catch it. She nodded once, sharp and decisive, and then strode away in the direction of the scent.

OOC: Thanks! It's been a while since I've done a forum-style RPG tho. I like to write but I may be a little rusty...
I can't wait to read your stuff...your character sounds like a lot of fun!...rrr, I can't wait for this to really pick up...

Doesn't really matter, as the end of the term is on hand and I will most likely be grounded for grades. Sorry for the cop-out, guys, I've been desperately cramming in work the past few days, so I haven't had time to mess around with this little joint. Anyone who wants to take over is welcome to step up to the plate.
