What's wrong with Comic Genesis, Ryodragon?

ComicGenesis has not been very user friendly for me as an artist. It takes about two weeks for them to make it so that your account is 'ready to use' ... even then it took a couple MORE days for me to be able to use the password they gave me. (This is something that is automated on every OTHER site and takes MAYBE two hours tops.)
Their "FTP" system.... is actually "learn a new program language because we've done our own thing ^___^ Html doesn't work on our site ^__^" --_--... Irritating to the max. Customizing your page is also difficult with the way they have things set up. I am nearly fluent in HTML...but they have things set up so that any HTML knowledge I have is useless. I have to know the ComicGenesis language. *grumble*
I have not been able to figure out how to 'install' a comment system (or even a background colour -_- Something which takes me five seconds or less in NORMAL html scripting).
The only thing they have going for them, really, is their automated updates. And even that was confusing to figure out. ComicGenesis is NOT user friendly at all.
I am going back to the Duck once it is back up. Even if I have to pay $x for automatic updates... the duck was really user friendly. I like that.
I mean.. .ComicGenesis has a (over 45 page last I checked) topic about SIGNUP 'questions' (Aka, signup problems). From what I remember... the Duck never had that. It just had downtime...even then it wasn't really their fault.
Anyways... I'm done complaining x.x....

...Wow. On the off-chance I ever write my comic, I'll definitely remember what you said about them. And we're all entitled to a rant now and again, I think. Even the all-powerful mods. =3

Well if you are close to getting your own site then mayhap it be better to finish it. Though two different sites because you are super loyal would seem a bit extranious, but if that is your desire then go for it. I would be happy to see it all back up and running. Hopefully I still have access to a computer by that time. Daggertooth

Mirror sites never hurt! But on the main Charby site, you must have a comment board or something! Your fans love to tell you what they think!
